Discord requires you to get a kill to get free ammo. So if you're using it to kill your target with a 2nd or 3rd shot then that's fine but if you're doing it just for the weaken for a Cascade or BnS GL or RL then Discord isn't doing much. Might as well go for something like No Distractions since its about all that pairs well with it.
I managed to get a Vantage Point with Eddy Current/Jolting Feedback I find Vantage Point adds a good amount of free bonus damage and ad clear (when applicable) in Onslaught if I Jolt the champion/boss before using Izanagi's and a Bait and Switch Pro Memoria. It really helps make up for using an all-rounder power weapon on a single target if I don't have/want to use my Super
As I said in another comment section, it's always a toss-up between good and mid when it comes to seasonal/episodic suites. Revenant, to me, falls in the same category of a Season of the Splicer: a few gems in an otherwise passable selection. In the spirit of that, I'm not missing the ability to craft these weapons.
Same, it's very goofy to be upset about no crafting when a lot of these weapons are either a slight nicety with little fun interaction or just extremely whatever side grades, B-/C+ on a good day. I mean in general since Witch Queen brought crafting there's always been a very small handful of actual good stuff per season and some seasons where it's maybe just 1-2 tops, Season of Deep was notoriously forgettable with mostly everything outclassed quickly before the year was over. At the end of the day you really just gotta sit down and really consider what's even in the mix has any tremendous distinction and exactly what else falls in close to where it sits and by how much does it fall or stand above other things. A lot of the time you'll realize you really don't need to make a science project over the legendary primary weapon you end up running.
Discord plus a damage perk on snipers felt really fun last episode. Had to hit headshots to get the chain going, but it was still satisfying as all get out. Haven't tried it yet with the sniper buffs 'cause the shotguns just feel too dang good. Really hoping I get Sovereignty discord desperate measures sooner rather than later.
idk if its amazing but with bitter sweet i used the artifact mods for weakening, reload speed, and what sounds like kinetic tremors for GLs, along with jolting feedback on bosses in onslaught that do not die and its quite effective especially with nearby ads and the big boss room where so many ads spawn, then i couple it with stasis crystals too. idk if it jolting feedback is great for boss damage to for jolt but its pretty useful in a room full of ads and a tanky yellow bar target.
Hear me out. Envious arsonal/chill clip liturgy -> icebreaker to proc ignition -> empty mag for envious/b&s bitter/sweet -> loop back to liturgy and repeat. could be very easy solo damage
Withering Gaze has a niche use case of pairing with Tractor Cannon, where it'll extend the weaken until you stop firing or your fireteam fails to stagger Withering Gaze between 2 or more players. In the current season, this point is moot if people are using grenade launchers, especially Ex Diris now that it's usable and can extend Weaken until it runs out of ammo. What I'm curious about is a rumor that the heavy attack on Spectral Blades applying a 50% weaken that can now be extended with GLs? I'm trying to find out if that 50% weaken even exists lol
Ded Gramayre (or however it's spelled) is already one of my favorite shotguns with Discord+Chain Reaction, so Scavenger's Fate with that setup'll likely pop off pretty well. 👍
So far, I'm not big on rimestealer for the gl. It still takes two shots to freeze a target with chill clip on it so it's kind of slow to make frost armor if you aren't building big into stasis elsewhere
Actually preferring strategist instead of rime stealer on liturgy, I always have frost armour and find Strategist has my class ability constantly up which is good for an Icefall mantle build.
Exuviae with rime and headstone makes such a carry weapon imo, lots of AOE damage if you get headshot kills. Basically never reload once you get into a fight, lots of dealt damage and Frost Armor. If you are stasis with a glacial grenade, forget it, you won't die if you just hit your shots
I think if you're looking for a build, you should try the discord/harmony shotgun with no backup plans! Ive had fun with it on void and prismatic with conditional, but you run into ammo issues without discord.
It basically is Combination of two of the Most beloved guns in the Game, but i mean He allways Had Problems with blinding gls 🤷♂️ utility is still unmatched though until IB comes around in November

“Put in some work” = log in once a week to grab red borders or run a few seasonal activities, dismantle all guns, buy levels to get enhanced immediately Yeah, it’s a bit tougher to get what you want now, but imo the way crafting was implemented in seasons killed any enjoyment from grinding. There’s atleast a pursuit now
And when those guns I grinded for get their perks nerfed what then? Have it sit uselessly in the vault? Dismantle it? With crafting at least if something got nerfed I could swap stuff around without taking up more space. 2-5 guns with set perks, even if they're doubled< a single gun that can be experimented on over and over and over
@@lchassefang how often were you swapping out perks due to massive nerfs since crafting? WE'RE GETTING OUR OWN BRIMSTONE?! HOLY SH*T I'M SO BACK IN. 💕🐶😄
I got a liturgy with hard launch, proxy nades or disorienting with rime stealer and chill clip . Definitely keeping this one
You got Wilderflight and wild style mixed up
Discord plus a damage perk on snipers felt really fun last episode.
I uninstalled the game today but I’m here to listen to Datto talk about things!
I like all of these weapons this season, gonna grind out different rolls and see what will fit my playstyle
Hear me out. Envious arsonal/chill clip liturgy -> icebreaker to proc ignition -> empty mag for envious/b&s bitter/sweet -> loop back to liturgy and repeat. could be very easy solo damage
you see, i would care if i along with many others weren't still soft-locked from creating tonics
Too bad it’s a precision frame
@@SavvyMon4 Still gets the job done. 😎
So not used to looking at it that I scrapped the new GL with Blinding/Rimestealer/Chill Clip last night
So not a seasonal weapon but the new Strike GL has a roll Im really looking forward to. Envious assassin and Cascade point are in different slots
Marsilion already has this roll and it's a rapid fire so it's even more absurd with cascade point
@@oxsila I did not know that thank you
So far, I'm not big on rimestealer for the gl. It still takes two shots to freeze a target with chill clip on it so it's kind of slow to make frost armor if you aren't building big into stasis elsewhere
Discord + Destabilzing makes for an interesting "ad clear" shotgun
Slideways was buffed recently and no longer has cooldown FYI
I am forever grateful that these weapons aren’t craftable. I’m going to have so much fun actually grinding for stuff now
Actually preferring strategist instead of rime stealer on liturgy, I always have frost armour and find Strategist has my class ability constantly up which is good for an Icefall mantle build.
Very surprised that Datto didn't acknowledge that Vantage Point uses the same model as Go Figure
Every single one of these weapons are reskins. At least we got to see the go figure/right side of wrong model
@@SavvyMon4 I know I just mean because he's a massive Go Figure enjoyer
22:26 can't wait to get Heretic's Fervor with Quickdraw Quickdraw
Exuviae with rime and headstone makes such a carry weapon imo, lots of AOE damage if you get headshot kills. Basically never reload once you get into a fight, lots of dealt damage and Frost Armor. If you are stasis with a glacial grenade, forget it, you won't die if you just hit your shots
I would recommend the Ritual weapon this season... It has rime head and is a precision Auto with pretty decent stats
I think if you're looking for a build, you should try the discord/harmony shotgun with no backup plans! Ive had fun with it on void and prismatic with conditional, but you run into ammo issues without discord.
You are 100% sleeping on liturgy. That thing is nasty
It basically is Combination of two of the Most beloved guns in the Game, but i mean He allways Had Problems with blinding gls 🤷♂️ utility is still unmatched though until IB comes around in November
Did anyone else notice that the rocket launcher had Quickdraw in both columns?
How are you out on slideshot on rockets? It’s far and away the highest increase to DPS over replacement perk. Shoot, slide, shoot, slide, shoot, slide…???
1. Rockets are Not that good to begin with rn 2. Only for solo Play ( it's pretty strong there ) but i will guarantee you, the only Thing you will damage in a raid or Dungeon is the friendship to your Teammates 😂
@@DomiBlueShellz just don’t shoot your teammates and blow yourself up and if they’re anything worth having as teammates they can reliably not shoot you and blow themselves up. If you are incapable of using slideshot without catastrophic mistakes that’s one thing but it doesn’t change the fact that it is by far the best pick for pure dps in that column.
On another note Chroma Rush is disgusting feels exotic with Tremors
Got it with Killing Wind and honestly the bump to stats like Range makes it feel even better in PvE (and even PvP honestly). Thought I wanted Subsistence but the reload speed on a rapid fire plus it's origin trait makes it reload so quickly that I don't think I need it anymore.
@ROFLWAFFLELAWL4 got the same roll too. Subsitence might be cool like actium war rig titan over than that the range buff from Killing wind is really nice on 900 rpm ARs
0:12 father, another god roll video?
a lot of these weapons do seem pretty interesting even without crafting, mostly the double-fire gl though
I feel that Withering Gaze should be on a primary weapon instead of special.
Not shown on D2 Foundry, but Vantage point can get Voltshot as well
Am I the only one who read the changes to slideways? Not a single RUclipsr is mentioning that it was buffed
Is the wind chill artifact perk supposed to work with all stasis weapons or just primary stasis weapons? Or is agers just bugged to not work with it?
Remember slideways got changed so it’s now like slideshot the description is not accurate anymore
Scavenger's Fate with discord and harmony paired with Riiswalker with the same roll and No Backup Plans goes so hard. It's basically infinite ammo for your shotguns as long as you switch at the right time
Each time I see your fingernails flash across the screen, I hear My Chemical Romance playing from my subconscious.
Discord and harmony…on void shotgun…No Backup Plans…hmmmmm
4:35 WELL AKCSHUALLY DATTO WILDERFLIGHT IS THE SPIRE ONE AND WILD STYLE IS THE NIGHTFALL ONE.
Feel free to reply with a shut up nerd to my comment.
My god rolled opinion dropped
Non-craftable is killing my vibe tbh
You get plenty of drops
Perish
The sidearm not having the weaken perk is a waste
They gave me riemstealer chill clip on liturgy i dont have to chase it which is nice
@@BigZaddyYumYum same for me for rime headstone on the hc
You got the other 2 Double Fire GLs Reversed
Discord on a new void shorty?
No backup plans are back on the menu
i was waiting for him to mention quickdraw+quickdraw on the rocket😞
God rolls for literally any other weapon that's craftable: experiment until you find something that clicks for you, just put some work in to get there
God rolls for Revenant: pray you get something close to what you desire/what Daddy Datto says here.
“Put in some work” = log in once a week to grab red borders or run a few seasonal activities, dismantle all guns, buy levels to get enhanced immediately
Yeah, it’s a bit tougher to get what you want now, but imo the way crafting was implemented in seasons killed any enjoyment from grinding.
People keep saying this as a plus for crafting, but most guns usually only ever have like 1-2 worthwhile PvE rolls that also often rely on one of the same perks, so if one perk is nerfed so badly that it would need to be swapped, that gun is probably not worth using to begin with. You also cannot possibly be using every single gun with 2-5 combinations each enough to be worth keeping dog.
Using the 5 deepsight harmonizers I have saved on the latest craftable weapon is not work.
Stop.
It's a looter shooter. Let it be one.
@@blakeerenhouse943Lmao
This, literally all of this
Nobody be changing their perks for every minor nerf, if that was the case every guns with ALH would be shit right now
Imagine being this delusional
I need a spike/slideways/chill clip gl. Would be fire
My first biter/sweet was envious arsenal bait and switch and it is stuck on my hands me happy👍
i got a vantage point with the new jolt perk and the the other 2 where with voltshot lol
