Just admiring how many people are realizing how good of a narrator u really are. I think u are very underrated. But with time u will have as many subs as the most popular cp narrators if we have anything to do with it.

I stopped the story at the death of the baby, I can't handle stories of babies or children dying. I'm already paranoid as is of that happening to one of mine.
The only thing that kept me listening from that point was the hope of vengeance - skipped a good three minutes ahead from that point though. The ending did not give me the closure I needed.
I don’t know, most of our grandfathers were a tough lot, a lot more physically demanding work. Rage can also be a disadvantage against a skilled fighter who can take advantage of reckless attacks. Mind you “fighting for your family” is going to make your completely relentless. Good story regardless.
I need a part 2!!! Omg this was amazing I love this channel. Its hard for me to not get distracted and click away from an horror stories that aren’t animated but most of the stories you’ve posted locked me in and I’m grateful! I was thinking the same thing, those couple are very irresponsible parents! Who would let a dog who has eaten corpse into their house? No sane person would let an animal who already tasted human flesh into their home, specially when they have a child around! They are the ones who killed their daughter!

Man. I don't know how many times you've seen me type this kind of message to you so I'll take a moment to elaborate just a little. I'm a grown man, husband and father of 4 children. You know how I've told you at least a dozen times it's the little things that make your reads so amazing. Everyone who clicked on this video knows this is a story. There's no way you could make this fact any clearer. Right around when you say you could see how pale our baby was. In that ball park give or take a few words. I was already so locked in that I paused the game I was playing on the ps4 because the way you read, it almost demands full attention. When you uttered that line, and even now typing this, I've got a tear in my eye. The narration had me locked in like I was teleported to another place in time and space. I sat here, really unable to even push the pause button, even though I knew I wanted to. Than it happened. " Have you ever seen a babies coffin?" And the tear that had been building up, was quickly accompanied by more. It's stuff like that. The way you read some if these stories...... You really took me there. It was an amazingly well written story. Just the way you say things without even saying them, it's special. For a lack of better words. What you do and how you do it is special. No matter how far out, or painfully real the story is. I don't even need to close my eyes. Sorry I'm writing you a short novel here, but also as I've told you before, especially these days and in the state of the world, it's made me realize something we've senile have just gotten to busy for in life. We should all stop and make sure we let people know how much they're appreciated. You sir, are very special at what you do. You're very much appreciated by many of that I'm sure. You took a 40 year old husband and a father of 4, to another place. Albeit sad this instance. But that's a talent that's becoming fewer and farther between. Sorry if you read this, that I took up a bit more time than I'm sure you have to just give away. You're more than just a guy reading stories, you're quickly becoming a masterclass of how much you can accomplish if you just put forth some time and effort. Thanks again.

Perhaps it’s thé gained Optimism from my experiences, but I like to think the grandson won, gained back his wife and daughter and loved the rest of his life without ever seeing or hearing from the devil again. That he beat the devil in the dirt so badly that it left for good

I don't want to sound like a fan boy but this story kind of reminds me of JoJo's bizarre adventure with the main villain being passed down generations. Also this story with your voice is just to good great job👍👍

I lost my son when he was 13 days old . He died of viral sepsis. The devastating hollowed out sorrow that is described in this story from the loss of their child is heartbreakingly, right on point. 🥺😭🥺
I've never lost a child, but I've worked at a graveyard in the past where someone had lost a newborn. The mother's grief stricken wails still haunt me when they lowered that coffin down into the ground.

I'm certainly hoping the author wrote a sequel to this, that you also narrate, it was awesome and you gave me chills! I was mad right along with Pete for sure, and wanna beat the devil's ass myself!
I do so enjoy these kind of stories. Whenever i hear the devil mentioned i never think of the typical Prince of Hell with red skin, hooves, horns etc. But the man who played the devil in the film " Crossroads" loosely based on the life of blues guitarist Robert Johnson & the film version starring Ralph Macchio. Its one of my favourite films, because of the story & the marvellous blues music & the crowning glory of the amazing rock guitarist Steve Vai. That end scene of young Ralph duelling with Steve Vai for Ralphs old Bluesman friends soul was Superb. I was always, from that moment, convinced that the debonaire Black Preacher who was the devil himself was the absolute image of what i thought the devil should look like. Hell, ( oops sorry for the inference) i even liked him. The author, Head of Spector, did a grand job, except, well i was waiting for a little twist,in that, Along with the story from Grandpa Nathan, he would have mentioned a little oddity or peculiar addage to his story concerning his triumph over Old Nick.. a clue perhaps or something to speak, a ditty of seeming gibberish but was actually an ancient spell to banish Old Scratch from his county for the duration of his life but had to pass it on to Peter in such a way that the devil wouldnt know, along with a small talisman, maybe? Or am i jumping the gun? Is there a part 2 ? I DO hope so If not chevvy up the authors interest & issuing a challenge that he can come up with a nifty twist to the end of the story & see the spit & grit in Peters eye to battle his ( & Grandpa Nathans) nemesis & regain his family without trickery from Beelzebub. Triffic narration kind Sir, you do us damn (oops again) proud. Btw, is the narrator from Creepy Ghost Stories a relative of yours? You both sound similar. Thank You Lighthouse Keeper of dark tales 👹😉

Well the funny thing is that the “Big Red Goat” that is the popular depiction of the Devil, is a relatively new thing. In the earliest days of Christianity he was simply a Fallen Angel, and Hell was basically just cessation of the existence, not this fire and brimstone world of torture (which is probably based off of Hades anyways)
@@ShadowknightEX actually the goat symbol is in fact the Pagan god of music, Pan. Also Pan was of the god of nature, The Green Man of the forests. For a long time Pagan religion was followed by everyone so when the fledgling Christian movement was trying to establish a foothold, they denigrated the Pagan god Pan as the Devil. Hence the devil goat. Theres a saying, When the new invader of a country takes over, they place the defeated peoples God down as the devil & promote their God as the one true god.
Sorry i forgot to mention.the most relevant part, the nature & music god Pan was humanlike from the waist up but goat from the waist down. He used to sit by the riverside, near the reeds, & play his Pan pipes which he made from the hollow reeds.
With how much I loved my papa, there'd be no way in hell I'd even have the strength to take care of the dog that ate his body. I'd hate the dog. That's not fair to anything. Sending it off would be better, for me at least.

I'm certainly hoping the author wrote a sequel to this, that you also narrate, it was awesome and you gave me chills! I was mad right along with Pete for sure, and wanna beat the devil's ass myself!
I do so enjoy these kind of stories. Whenever i hear the devil mentioned i never think of the typical Prince of Hell with red skin, hooves, horns etc. But the man who played the devil in the film " Crossroads" loosely based on the life of blues guitarist Robert Johnson & the film version starring Ralph Macchio.
Its one of my favourite films, because of the story & the marvellous blues music & the crowning glory of the amazing rock guitarist Steve Vai. That end scene of young Ralph duelling with Steve Vai for Ralphs old Bluesman friends soul was Superb. I was always, from that moment, convinced that the debonaire Black Preacher who was the devil himself was the absolute image of what i thought the devil should look like. Hell, ( oops sorry for the inference) i even liked him.
The author, Head of Spector, did a grand job, except, well i was waiting for a little twist,in that,
Along with the story from Grandpa Nathan, he would have mentioned a little oddity or peculiar addage to his story concerning his triumph over Old Nick.. a clue perhaps or something to speak, a ditty of seeming gibberish but was actually an ancient spell to banish Old Scratch from his county for the duration of his life but had to pass it on to Peter in such a way that the devil wouldnt know, along with a small talisman, maybe?
Or am i jumping the gun? Is there a part 2 ? I DO hope so
If not chevvy up the authors interest & issuing a challenge that he can come up with a nifty twist to the end of the story & see the spit & grit in Peters eye to battle his ( & Grandpa Nathans) nemesis & regain his family without trickery from Beelzebub.

Well the funny thing is that the “Big Red Goat” that is the popular depiction of the Devil, is a relatively new thing. In the earliest days of Christianity he was simply a Fallen Angel, and Hell was basically just cessation of the existence, not this fire and brimstone world of torture (which is probably based off of Hades anyways)

Also Pan was of the god of nature, The Green Man of the forests. For a long time Pagan religion was followed by everyone so when the fledgling
Christian movement was trying to establish a foothold, they denigrated the Pagan god Pan as the Devil. Hence the devil goat.
Theres a saying, When the new invader of a country takes over, they place the defeated peoples God down as the devil & promote their God as the one true god.
Sorry i forgot to mention.the most relevant part, the nature & music god Pan was humanlike from the waist up but goat from the waist down. He used to sit by the riverside, near the reeds, & play his Pan pipes which he made from the hollow reeds.

With how much I loved my papa, there'd be no way in hell I'd even have the strength to take care of the dog that ate his body. I'd hate the dog. That's not fair to anything. Sending it off would be better, for me at least.
