The first 3 exercises are for the lateral deltoid (too much volume for a single muscle). The last one is downright absurd, you don't work the deltoid in any of its fascicles, it only works isometrically.

Thanks for your input. While the first three exercises might seem like a lot, they're designed to target different aspects of the lateral deltoid. The last exercise, though isometric, can still help with activation and stability. Would you recommend any alternatives?

I have nothing against any routine as long as the person likes it, but at the same time I think that optimizing the training is essential. The basis of any training is to approach the muscle being trained in the section from all possible angles. In the case of the deltoid ("shoulder") there are 3 divisions, the anterior, lateral and posterior deltoid. If you do more sets than a muscle can handle, it will not produce gains since you will accumulate junk volume. An optimal routine for the deltoid could be a basic exercise in which you look for progressive overload (multifunctional) such as a military press with dumbbells, with a bar or any press machine that you have in your gym and then perform other analytical exercises with a focus on the lateral side (like the first 3 in your video) and others on the posterior side of the deltoid. If you want more information, I make routines so I can answer questions related to gym training (for free, of course).

different aspects on the lateral delt? I work I a bodybuikding gym, the lateral head of the delt is only a small muscle and you can't target "different aspects" of the lateral head. Also, your form on the Standing arnild press isn't great, and IMO Arnold press is an inferior exercise to standard dumbbell or barbell ohp

I appreciate your feedback and expertise. I'm always looking to improve my knowledge and training methods. Could you please provide some specific recommendations for targeting the lateral deltoid and maximizing its growth? I'm open to trying new exercises and techniques

For the last one, you should just do normal shoulder press. The turning motion dosent add much so i think normal shoulder presses or other exercises would be more effective

Thanks for your suggestion 😊 I'll definitely consider incorporating more standard shoulder presses

This is so mind numbingly pointless. Tip: you can see painfully average girls lifting 20 lb dumb bells at literally every gym on earth

Thanks for your input. While you may find this video uninteresting, many viewers have found it helpful and inspiring. It's important to remember that fitness journeys vary, and what might be average for one person could be a significant achievement for another
