I'd say it is a matter of how people treat ''misconceptions''. Every dog can be as however ''good'' as it is trained. Or, even if not trained, kept in a positive environment.
The way i laughed as soon as i saw the bulldog...never expected in my wildest dreams that bulldogs can run also...my bulldog is just a couch potato but my biggest love..🙂

If they have zero faults on their run? Usually. Chasing sheep and needing to pivot on a dime when they're herding makes them naturals to succeed at these circuits. But I have seen other collie breeds, shepherds and terriers that are blindingly fast at it too.
Herding breeds in general excel at this sport. Honestly, it depends on where you live, too. I know someone with speedy Miniature American Shepherds running in 16” who regularly win (and therefore, beat the Border Collies). They’re becoming quite competitive for their height category. And I know this personally, as a beginner to the sport with a very very fast Miniature American Shepherd. I’m just not a good handler, yet. 😆 Though in all honesty, you need to see the times of all the dogs at a trial and compare. Though they don’t compete with each other, I’ve seen Pembroke Welsh Corgis have the fastest time in a trial of all dogs at times (I know this handler personally and her Corgis are FAST AF). I’ve also seen the Miniature American Shepherd handler I reference above, have the fastest time of the entire trial sometimes. And contrary to what many think, there ARE slower Border Collies. I see this a lot more with the show line Border Collies, where they’re a lot more moderate.

omg, that bulldog, Rudy, is just awesome. You can see how puffed he is by the end of it all.. the Papillions surprised me as well.. never thought the breed was good at agility and handling directions in a stress situation. Brilliant... loved them all.

Though technically he made a "mistake" it doesn't matter because if rules are stupid they don't count. So for me, Rudy was perfect. 🤗

This was alot of competion for every dog!! This was a great line up!! Every dog was unbelievable!! I have watched this 2019 agility video over and over and it never gets old!! I believe each beautiful dog was A True Winner❤❤
Rick Agility mistakes are almost always human error, not always because of a handler not being able to keep up, but due to multiple reasons which may include being late on a cue or simply being positioned wrong (facing the wrong way, etc).
I’m here because of Gabby. She’s still my fav! But the others were fantastic too. Rudy was such a surprise! Did well for a bulldog, as the announcer said I definitely did not expect that!
