Roxxxy also revolutionized All Stars deliberations. The 1st Episode of All Stars 2, Roxxxy & Tatianna were the Top 2, and went back to the werkroom to talk. While Tatianna had already made up her mind (not surprising considering they weren’t asked to discuss their choices), Roxxxy pulled Adore aside to ask how she’s feeling, etc. This discussion was filmed and the next episode immediately became mandatory as Katya & Alaska talked with the Bottom Queens of the week. But it was Roxxxy & not the producers who came up with the idea of talking to the Bottom Queens for input as to who to choose.
Yes!!! I always think about iconic moments from queens who didn’t win their seasons and Roxxxy is a very underrated one. She had a huge impact on regular seasons & all stars
SASHA! She literally made every single queen after her worry more about a reveal than the actual lipsync delivery when it came to the finale. However, she was just trying to add to her own performance, which made her win the crown fair and square. Plus the fact that nobody saw it coming! But nowadays, every girl pulls up to the finale stage with a 6ft tall wig or in a huge ass box to conceal a reveal that's just for shock factor.

I remember on the reunion Rupola got really mad at Asia when she tried to defend the vixen, I'm not saying the vixen was a poor victim, but she made some comments that were real and connected with people

Morgan McMichaels and Kylie Sonique Love and to a lesser extent Bebe and Ongina for creating such good close lipsyncs that double shantays were introduced.
Melinda Verga revolutionised drag race after winning Canada VS The Universe Season 16 because she did gravity defying moves, winning against Jujubee despite Juju having 691 wins and Melinda being in the BTM2 every episode. So sad Michelle had a heart attack that day :( 🕊️🕊️

Katya's latex look on AS2 introduced the idea of the winners changing outfits before the lip sync. In ep1, Tati and Roxxy wore their talent show outfits. On ep2, Katya changed out of her outfit and Alaska didn't. Now it's customary for queens to change into a dance costume when they lip sync for their legacies.
I’ve got two suggestions: I think Tatianna in AS2 paved the way, then Aja in AS3 led to the explosion in performing original songs in the talent show (or even continuing the talent show challenge at all, since it was new at the time). Those acts not only go viral, songs also make BIG streaming money that the show can swoop in and take. It’s to the point where Sugar/Spice said somewhere that on their packing list production outright encourages queens to prepare a track for the talent show. It’s too early to say if this will be a “trend”, but I felt something shift when Kitten and Nearah both did Jennifer Coolidge in the Snatch Game. Many queens have brought identical characters before and they basically play chicken until someone caves, but both of them refusing to back down and production allowing two identical characters was a first and I wonder whether it could keep happening.

From what we've seen about Bebes and Trixies friendship in the recent Pit Stop, I could imagine that Bebe chose Kennedy; afterall she had seen Kennedys quick decision for Milk. Plus, I think she might have thought more of within the show and not really about the wrath of the fans.
Yeah, I just don't get the reasoning that Bebe was afraid of Trixie stans. Like if she felt comfortable possibly eliminating her, why wouldn't she also feel comfortable with revealing the lip stick. She would have gotten way more shit for actually eliminating her if she won. I think the real queen who revolutionalized RPDR was Sharon Needles. I knew she's not the queen you want to talk to today but you cant deny that Sharon opened so many doors to drag queens who didn't follow a beauty standard of drag at that time.

The Queens have had more than one cocktail plenty of times since JuJubee. If you watch Roscoe's view parties, you would know that. The guests often talk about getting drunk - extra cocktails, hiding bottles, smoking weed & doing edibles while filming. On All Stars, Raja drank wine all day. Provided by production.

17:40 I actually genuinely voted for Vixen. Show was misrepresenting her and in interviews/leaks and rucaps we learned she was helping other girls on set. And she commonly had nice playful interactions with the cast. The real villain of that season was RuPaul and production and Vixen like a lot of girls on that season, deserved that title. Which - she did get voted as well when queens got the choice.

From what we've seen about Bebes and Trixies friendship in the recent Pit Stop, I could imagine that Bebe chose Kennedy; afterall she had seen Kennedys quick decision for Milk. Plus, I think she might have thought more of within the show and not really about the wrath of the fans.

Yeah, I just don't get the reasoning that Bebe was afraid of Trixie stans. Like if she felt comfortable possibly eliminating her, why wouldn't she also feel comfortable with revealing the lip stick. She would have gotten way more shit for actually eliminating her if she won. (Little conspiracy theory, but maybe Bebe knew she wasn't going to win so she picked a lipstick at random and that's why she didn't reveal it.)

Now I could be wrong, but did Roxxxy Andrews’ wig reveal just accidentally end up being iconic? Some queens especially back then stacked their wigs for more volume. Roxxxy knew the song was called “Whip My Hair” and if she whipped it the top one would go flying so she just took it off with style and Ru was gagged so hard she just went along with it. 17:40 I actually genuinely voted for Vixen. Show was misrepresenting her and in interviews/leaks and rucaps we learned she was helping other girls on set. And she commonly had nice playful interactions with the cast. The real villain of that season was RuPaul and production and Vixen like a lot of girls on that season, deserved that title. Which - she did get voted as well when queens got the choice.
