Killer bash and comparison between these Fantastic options Brother Dennis 😜. Both are Mad fun and durable, but you really broke down the benefits of each rig 👌. Awesome durability tips too. The huge bodies, nerf bars, and bumpers make the Senton and Mojave crazy tough 😱🤣🤣. Still can't believe I bought the Maxx over the Mojave EXB on sale 😝. HUGE mistake, but the Maxx is a little tank at the skatepark atleast. 🍻🚀🚀😎💪👊👊
Appreciate that my friend Yeah man you need to get a Mojave for real.... I know you love your little overpowered Senton 😮🔥🔥 Appreciate the kind words brother Rich, it's crazy effort here and not as many views but really for the community. Some videos are underappreciated unfortunately, and those are the ones I like to do 😮😂😂 Well I hope it gets out there anyway and is a help to some, because at the end of the day I do my videos like this because it makes me happy, it's what I LIKE. As always I appreciate your my friend, thanks for coming by and dropping a line. Stay safe buddy
Awesome video bro you always kill it always always man loving it I’m not too much into the Mojave or the Senton but like you said it’s very versatile you can do a lot with the Mojave🤩🤙👊
Thanks for stopping by and FIRST comment my friend. It's a very different experience for sure, kinda like a mix between kraton XL and Losi SCT 1/5 scale type Handeling as it's not as authentic as no solid rear axel. You definitely can't blast and lay into the turns.... It's a tricky balance but still fun.... And I got a 1580kv and 23t Pinion 160 Firma she is a complete screamer! Appreciate your time buddy, see ya soon
Killer video Bro. Awesome durability tips, breakdown and bash. I'm not a big SCT guy but the platform makes for some awesome XL builds for sure. Another great video my friend.
Appreciate you stopping by brother CA Yeah these SCT are a whole other thing, but a blast to drive for sure, different experience... But yes a great platform to hybrid off of. See ya round friend
Great video buddy you cannot go wrong with the Mojave, it is undoubtedly the toughest and strongest truck I have in my fleet, it’s amazing the punishment this thing can put up with.
FYI, Another way that I found to stop from breaking the Mojave body posts is to run the scortched parts mud guards. The way they connect to the truck stops the flex completely in the body posts. They have been a fantastic mod to keep a lot of the dirt, grass, rocks etc out of the chassis of my Mojave trucks.
That's interesting thought brother. About how much weight you think they add? This mod has worked well for me for sure, not sure I want to add somthing that involved but they look nice. Appreciate the time and comment, hope to see ya round brother
@@3SonsRC No problem on the response. It's rare when I might have something beneficial to add to a response but this time i know for a fact the the scortched parts guards work great and add structural integrity. They are really light weight and they do a great job at keeping all the dirt, grass, rocks etc out of the inside of the truck. They are really easy to install. Takes less then 10 minutes to put them on. Basically they screw in to the plastic wings on the sides of the mojave. The place that has velcro. Then when you put the body on it creates a locked system and makes the body mounts super strong. I bash my mojaves pretty hard and ever since I started running these guards I've not had a single broken body post. I also run no foam or other body post modifications. For the price of the guards, they are cheap enough that if you end up not liking them (I doubt that would be the case) you can remove them without having a big lose.
I really like the time you take to explain everything in such detail. I love my senton. I have Mohave on my wish list!! I broke my front bumper support a few times, then I got one from 3DRC. Great bashing!! 😀😀
Appreciate that brother. Some crazy reason RUclips don't like this video, these RUclips gods are funny, but regardless I put this out for RC Community, just strange that usually my videos have 1k more views by this time 😂😂 No worries, I make these videos how I like, not always as flashy as a big air video (that I do like to do as well). Glad you appreciate brother, thanks for the time and comment, hope your enjoying the channel, see ya round
This was a Great comparison of these 2 Rigs 3Son's!! The tips are helpful also. I don't have either of these in my fleet but I have been Eyeing the Mojave!! It's a Total Beast 4sure👊 The only short course truck is my Daughter's Redcat Blackout & we have turned that into a off-road & on-road TERROR 😝😆 Keep the Vids coming Bro you have a Subscriber!! Stay safe and bash on from Colorado!!!
@@rckiduk thanks bud, appreciate the support. On the Outcast 1/6th Scale I added RPM Front Hubs to stop the shafts from popping and now Hyper MT Plus 2 tires are less tall so less issues. More durable. They are also more offset so less body rub. Either way it's kinda a Kraton XL but way wider and 8s wing, body, and mounts, so if I want to just go straight Kraton XL later that's cool as well. See ya round
I don't know much sbout the Mojave but on my Kraton 6S v5, I took the red aluminium cover off the end of the lower and upper arms on the front and lower on the rear, i could then screw the pivot balls further inthe respective arms, this pushed the drive shafts into the diff cups, by 1 - 1.5mm. They haven't dropped out since.
Not even close, Mojave 4s The Senton was great for it's time but so many upgrades and center diff for the Mojave Hope your enjoying the channel brother, see ya round
Nice video and good comparison! Have you found a bullet proof way to prevent rocks from entering and locking Senton steering mechanism? I think steering that locks all the time is a major drawback in Arrma 3S cars, if you bash mainly on sand and gravel surfaces. I’ve tried everything from dust guards, 3D-printed covers to sponges between steering system, and the steering still locks. Very annoying if you are used to 6S car design.
Thanks for the comment and time brother. Yeah I haven't tried to limit that issue yet.... But that is exactly what happened.... Stuff got jammed in the servo saver area and I didn't notice while Jaxon was running it, then the servo just died. Thing has been a tank besides that.... I was bummed I didn't get a chance to run it like I wanted. Might be a tip on the FB groups?? Hope your enjoying the channel brother, see ya round
@@3SonsRC There are some improvements you can do, but haven't found a good solution yet. Really enjoying your channel, keep up the good work and have fun while doing it! :)
I read your comments on rocks getting cought up in the steering. Some people have just applied Gorilla tape over that hole in the chassis to block it. Hope this suggestion helps. 👍
@@ervinmedina9014 thanks for the reply. I have taped those holes in the chassis and it helps a bit but won’t fully solve the problem. I prefer not to use any dust guards due to overheating problems so I just ordered Scorched parts inner fenders and hope those helps a bit. However, as the problem occurs also with dust guards, I’m not not expecting too much.
There both great brother... I'm bummed I didn't get a chance to run the Senton here because she is a ripper as well. For more rally truck feel the Mojave is a better option, but both are great. I hope your enjoying the channel, See ya round brother
