As for a Rogue One battle force they could allow Pathfinders as core and the ability to take other heavies. Or make a Melshi heavy upgrade card. How about Baze and Chirrut or Bodhi Rook. Probably we will get a Rogue One force when we finally get Baze and Chirrut
Sub factions battleforce would be amazing for me, seeing Wookie armies, Ewok why not, full Mandalorian elite forces etc. Gives me star wars galactic battleground flashbacks haha. Battleforces could also be the door to thematic "heroes armies" like in mesbg with special rules to make them viable, so maybe for the Rebels crew for instance ?
I thibk for wookies we can see a couple of battleforces for them, obviously during the droid attack on the wookies with minor clone elements, a proper wookie army that gets to be out of time a little bit and then a rebellion battleforce where they can be more infantry focused, but also get a unique model to upgrade units in a saboteur, being a wookie slave that which could lay down a trap at the start of the game, or issue a special attack at the start of the game on an enemy vehicle

For battleforce ideas, I'd like to see some more Rebel themes. Maybe something like a Battle of Scarif force with the rest of the cast (considering Jyn and Cassian aren't a part of the battle directly), a battleforce led by Saw, or something that introduces X-Wing pilots outside their ships (maybe a landing part, scout team, or crash survivors). I'd also like to see more done with Mercs, like a pirates battleforce (led by someone like Hondo). A all Jedi force or just mostly Jedi would be fun too, with some faceless Jedi units to add onto the Jedi personalities we already have.

My guess for republic is they'll do the sae thing with clone commandos as their faction's dark troopers, then make arcs core units. If they do, I'll be happy finally. This change addresses so many heavy weapon issues. For example, arcs and phase 2s have really limited heavy weapon options, but imagine if they could take Phase 1s heavy upgrades!
As a GAR player, I'm definitely disappointed with the lack of positive attention we get. I'd like a Wookie BF though. Let me take melee wookies as corp.
I love that they are releasing alot of battleforces. I find list building within limitations more interesting than a free for all. It gives us opportunities to use units that we otherwise wouldn't consider. Plus I'm always down for more empire support.

I was teetering on whether or not to get Legion, and when I saw that they were releasing dark troopers, that kind of tipped me into buying a corset, so I’m really new at this and looking forward to getting some games in with some dark troopers and death troopers.

I got my luxury play style order tokens for Shadow Collective before the force org was released so needless to say I definitely took advantage of the one off purchases 😂. Overall I like some of the ideas of the Remnant battle force, but I can see it going off the rails in a hurry if there aren't heavy restrictions. We will see once everything is released for them. The battle force I am interested in seeing is the Hutt cartels.

Now last week my wife bought me the clone wars core set for my bday and we’re playing together and he’s getting into it. I watch your videos in 2018 and it’s super cool that you’re still going. I'm kinda kooking forward to all the kitbashing opportunities involved in adding different heavies to the corps units. I may actually buy a stormtrooper expansion set to get the extra bodies.
GAR got hit for sure but they are still viable. Imps getting all the love. Rebels got zero love from points updates. A few of their units need points dropped especially with deflect changes. Excited about getting an ATST though!

My fear was that each faction would turn out to be identical with different minis. I like the diversity that is being introduced into the game.

Hondo's Pirates and the Hutt Cartel would both make great Battleforces as well. Especially if they get bonuses vs rival sydicates

Tbh, I have had success with the full scout unit. Especially with Up Close and Personal.
They make great objective grabbers.

This new battle force looks amazing, and I think it’s a nice way to add extra things to the game, without forcing you to buy another expansion.
Imperial Endor force will be able to take up to 4 E-webs or dewbacks. No speeder bikes though.
Not that it matters at all, but the GAR stands for the the grand army of the republic, not galactic, while the empire is the galactic empire
