Writing endings is hard. especially if you have another sequel planned and you are going for a more light and comedic movie. But yeah pretty dissapointed with the lazy flashback cheat.

The reason why Matt (the random camper) was killed is because he was that camper - hooking up with one of the sisters in the woods - who Angela initially sent away.
But if all horror movies had the exact same number of male and female deaths, that would get boring. There would be little suspense, we'd be expcting it. Movies would stop being fun.
You can’t compare both Angela’s, both of them are great in their own way. But what I really like about Pamela Springsteen’s portrayal of Angela is the comical side she brings to the character.

Oh yeah and a cool little fact, Felissa Rose from the original went on to marry Deron Miller from the band/movies CKY (Camp kill yourself). I always thought that was cool.

She then, after that, dropped out of school, went completely crazy, and eventually killed her stepfather, who was abusive to her and her sister, and she didn't serve any time for that. She then realize she had to be safe about what she was going to do, so she, being very pretty, was able to lure many young men back to her place, and then would go on a killing spree and poisoned basically any guy who reminded her of that head boy who tried to r*pe her.

That moment when you realize that Angela is a more efficient killer than Freddy Krueger, Michael Myers, Leatherface or Jason Vorhees. Angela actually managed to kill off all the characters in the movie including the would-be "final girl" and without suffering any damage (the branch beatdown doesn't count since all it did was give Angela some minor concussions).

I suspend my disbelief when watching these kinds of movies-almost like fantasy. If you can do it, they are even more enjoyable (rather than dissecting it on the first watch). I’m so glad James includes so many of these hidden gems. I’m hooked on this channel as I relive my childhood.
