I'm a theatre actor and it takes around 3 weeks to learn the lines and where you need to be be and when you need to be there. Fairplay for doing 2 movies in 6 weeks. That's damn impressive, even if its awful.

No not necessarily, movie executives who think horror = gore (now it's horror = jump scare) are the reason why most modern horror films suck. There doesn't need to be gratuitous blood and gore to have a movie get under your skin and stay there. Not to mention there are sub genres within horror i.e psychological horror, horror thriller, horror sci-fi, etc. Horror movies like The Ring, Rosemary's Baby, 1974's Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Psycho, the Shining have minimal to no gore and yet they're all considered horror classics. It's about creating a macabre atmosphere, the overwhelming feeling of utter helplessness as characters realize that death is inevitable. (Sorry for the long comment horror has been my favorite genre since I was 8)

I like both types of characteristics of slashers; Both when they have dialogue and when they are just silent. Pennywise and Freddy Kruger both give out funny and entertaining one liners, while characters like Art the Clown and Jason Vorhees are both silent and make the movie more intense
I remember showing my friend the clip at 4:26 this one time when we were discussing weird laughs, and because I was so focused on showing her that I somewhat almost get hit by a car. It barely came close to me and I don’t think it would have done anything more than grazing me, so this statement might not be worth much, but it was worth it to keep the conversation going.

I like both types of characteristics of slashers; Both when they have dialogue and when they are just silent. Pennywise and Freddy Kruger both give out funny and entertaining one liners, while characters like Art the Clown and Jason Vorhees are both silent and make the movie more intense

It barely came close to me and I don’t think it would have done anything more than grazing me, so this statement might not be worth much, but it was worth it to keep the conversation going.
