Clearly the biggest achievement in this video is the fact that you got your wife to be okay with this 😂 😂 😂 😂
Guys are too used to abusive women. No if gaming on bed is very important to him the partner should allow him to do that, he’s an adult he shouldn’t be micro managed
Mine has a complete setup in bed too, it’s actually perfect for both of us.
@@lietuviserikas Exactly bro these dudes are just cringey at this point thinking its cute to be a p*ssy. Imagine having the freedom to do what you want in your own home...smh.
@@lietuviserikas seriously. i read op's comment like "huh??"
Seems like it's good for her as he's letting her use the TV.
Wife: we need more action in the bed room
Brett: Thats exactly what I was thinking, I actually have the gaming setup planned already!
If I set this up in my bedroom my wife would leave me....
Same lol
And rightly so.
maybe you guys should have a relationship with someone who shares your interests and doesn’t stop you from doing things you wanna do? Just a thought lmao
@@schu1324 It's got nothing to do with sharing interests or not being allowed to do stuff.
Same
Video game blowys, smart chap

As a doctor i recommend getting a wedge pillow so you can be safe on your spine and shoulders
It 30 or so dollars but saves you pain and posture also try to keep it at eye level so you dont hurt your neck and thanks for the vid
A fellow doctor who likes tech! :D
As a fellow doctor id not recommend this at all....
Gotta teach some sleep manners so that his sleep pattern doesn't go haywire
As a former member of the national association of sandwich assemblers (NASA) I can confirm that doctors sometimes attend medical school.
Next level upgrade: Devices on the other side of the wall with cable passthrough = No noise in bedroom, especially with the PS4.
The best part of this video is how excited you are! that is PURE JOY right there.
To address the issues:
Double sided tape to the HDMI hub and hang it on the back of your night stand. Then double command hooks on the side of the night stand to hang your controllers. Then get a 5port USB charger and mount it with double sided tape to the back of your night stand. Cable ties to keep the cables neat from the back to the outside.
Should keep most things hidden while casually looking into the room, but also allow pictures, lamps, etc for your wife to decorate.
Totally agree! The only addition would be to have the charger cables led to the top drawer from a little hole in the back of the night stand. This way the top drawer would be a charging station, for all the devices.
Oh 2 ninja designers.
I would love to see your gaming setup xD
One fundamental part you left out.... where are the consoles?!
And the pc
On the side of the night stand.
UFD Tech love the stand/screen combo tho 👍🏼👌🏼
I’m trying to figure out a good way to do basically the same thing except play the PC and consoles remotely so I can keep them in the living room and have the option to play them in bed or on the much better living room tv. Maybe there’s a way to do it with various casting/streaming devices, PS4 remote play, Rainway, Nvidia Gamestream, GeForce Now, etc.
@@UFDTech show us please
Holy crap man! I love this set up! I’m so happy for you! Definitely going to do this myself!
I have a similar setup but I installed a couple floating shelves above the night stands, really freed up some space.
Thank you! I live in a small house and we only have 2 TV's so I really don't get a lot of game time but I have a similar bed and night stand to you and could easily rig this up love this idea!
I've been doing this for years and I love it. Nice Video man. Cheers from Canada. 👌
the way he absolutely SLAMS the monitor against the boom arm at the start. i wanna die
Wife and I did the opposite 5 years ago. Got rid of bedroom TV, shut down phones and always go to bed at the same time, the number of times we are "intimate" a week at night tripled. Still game together just pre bed. Nice setup though. Is it just me or is that bed tiny AF?
Thought it was just me that thought that was small bed!!
Does this work!?
bedroom toys to a whole new meaning
I've been considering doing something just like this for some time. This just made me want to set it up even more now.
Same
Did you do it?
I can finally disappoint my friends and my girlfriend at the same time.
Looks great. This is what I need as I am disabled and it's going to make it easier for me to game and to be able to get to sleep also.
Nice work.
🤓👍
This is so cool man, love it!
Killed it. One of your best vids yet! Love the setup. Might be doing this soon 😂✌🏼
I have extremely similar setup.
But That new lightweight portable display is perfect for the adjustable arm mount. Very nice
Nice video. For bed-ridden individuals, there is a professional healthcare monitor wall arm that is very convenient, called the CUZZI DW630-1218. It is generally attached to the wall behind the headboard.
GJ actualy creative setup!!
Dude I absolutely love this this is exactly how I've thought to do bed gaming
This is amazing!
Omg this is so epic nice job man, that mic boom arm is genius
Imagine falling asleep, then waking up hitting the tv..... boom gone lol
Sadly i've done this multiple times lol
lmao
Exactly the solution i was looking for
I've just shared this video with my gf, as a warning for the future :'D
You played yourself. Lols
lol this is a sure fire plan to be single.
That's a win/win setup. I love it. :)
I searched all over the place and you're the only one who have this very unique setup.
The toughest part is finding a compatible portable monitor to fit a boom arm.
A $500 portable asus monitor is out of the question. I got a used 15.6" 4k monitor for under $70
*Update*
I just use an alternative, a bed table where you can tilted
Why does the monitor have to be ultra portable? Could use a normal albeit small gaming monitor and a arm mount meant for a desk
@@sebastianknott3804 That's what I'm planning. I'm going to get a monitor arm and mount a 22 or 24 inch monitor to it and just mount the monitor arm to a night stand instead of a desk lol. Pretty much the same functionality as the setup in the video but with a bigger and cheaper monitor.
@@sebastianknott3804 I end up getting an adjustable bed table to hold my portable monitor:)
Hi love the video - trying to get the parts here in the UK, be good to see a video of putting it together.
You my friend have achieved gaming nirvana... enjoy every second of it.
This is EXACTLY!!!!!!!! what I been looking for!!! You are a life saver!!!
Cool setup!
NICE FREAKING JOB! IT'S JUST AWESOME!! and yes in all caps
That is awesome. Since working I been gaming in bed just because I do a physical job I just want to bed in bed relaxing.
👏👏👏. That’s seems to be very comfortable. I’m gonna copy
Bed gaming sounds like something that belongs on another site 😏
I know which one want me to tell you.................
What are you doing step bro?
This is perfect!
This is perfect I need a set up like this for my recliner and then switch over to bed. Being disabled and I live between bed and chair. I also a solo gamer and the mess around my chair drives me crazy.
Actual Dream Setup
Looking at Amazon and Best Buy right now. I think we all know how excited you are!!! I’m excited af already
Strange. I tend to sleep in my bed.
Hilarious!!
This is the most effective contraception known to humankind.
This remember me that scene on the movie Wall-e when the humans are lied down on ther pods watching shit and playing games 24/7 xD
Nice setup! Now you just need an adjustable base for your bed. It's a game changer!
I am highly considering this set up, I am having surgery in a few weeks that will have a lengthy recovery time of 3 months. And this would help so much so I won't disturb my wife who will be doing so much! Thank you for this video so much! Exactly what I was looking for!
Now the only thing is the price of the monitor and everything put together can get get pretty high pretty quick.
Did you make any progress?
@@MrRubberchicken21 this set up has been AMAZING! I can play, I have a firestick set up to it aswell to give me Playstation a break lol........I wear my headphones and I don't bother anyone and it's super easy to move out of the way and bring it close in, even after surgery.
10/10 would recommend for a situation like mine.

Genius this is what I was looking for
My wife would love this lol we are bed people
Just bought the entire setup.
How do you connect mini ball head to mic stand?
I missed the damn adapter
Brett, considered a floating shelf above the night stand? I'd say a cheap floating shelf that you cut into to fit a USB hub for charging. Then you can place peripherals on there, charge them. Run a pass through from the shelves to so the wall adapter behind the night stand.
Exactly what I was thinking!!
After watching the whole video. I salute you. This is genius not for content creation and PC gamings but still this is awesome
Wow that's really cool man!
Necessity is the mother of invention
.
adding an overbed table for the keyboard and mouse
I have now justification of my XG17 purchase. Thanks, Bro!
Oh boi, this is insane :D
Ok, I love it. I’ve been looking for a solution for a similar problem - wife doesn’t want TV in the bedroom, but she’ll watch an episode or two of whatever show she’s currently binging on her ipad. I’d like to be there with her and the dog, and I’d likely only use it with PC. I’d been doing some steam streaming to my macbook, but non-steam games would be nice. I can easily drop an hdmi in-wall between the rooms & bluetooth easily reaches, I just don’t have a monitor. I was thinking one of the 15” 1080p portables, but now I need to find something that works with a microphone arm.
i love this setup. looking into another option for my mom. she uses an old laptop and never used it but she primarily sits in a double recliner and this would be a great alternative since desktop is more practical for her actual needs
3 years ago it still go crazy
this is epic dude
This man is legendary 😂
for the peripherals, get a wall mounted plate that has small knobs to hold all the things, like a tool wall.
Does anyone know of a way to do this with VESA mounts?
I need one of these
What a casual. I'm using my PC from my couch, my KB is in my lap and my mouse is next to me, works perfectly.
Made the same exact setup for the monitor on boom mount from your recommendations! How did you secure the monitor to the quick release plate. when I adjust the monitor the screw into the monitor loosens, slowly ratcheting itself off the mount. No matter how tight I screw it onto the monitor without bowing the front. I would rather not use thread locker. Other than that this is working great and way cheaper than getting a "medical long arm monitor mount" Thank you
You sir, are a genius!
please do an update on the monitor and set up just bought everything for this set up kinda put off by the reviews for the monitor on amazon is yours still working did u replace it with something els ?
You are the man I need make one of these.
Yeah... no... my wife ain’t never gonna allow that... 😟
Ps. I really really really need this 😜
Your wife isn't your mom tho! Not saying do it against her wish but like
simp
lol beta
Does anyone know how to use the same boom arm on a light laptop? What adaptor do I need? A vesa Mount? Any links?
Damn that’s so comfy
Oh that’s a great setup. You get to game with a happy ending! You’re living the life. Lol
This might be the best video on UFD Tech
I guess now is a bad time to mention that they make swing-over-bed keyboard/monitor stands for just this purpose? And on wheels, so you can bring the whole setup to your living room if you need to.
This is a dream setup
Would love to see a update on this setup!!
How about the cable management and consoles?? You have a long hdmi cables? Where you store them?
Brett is the achiever of all things gaming.
Best intro I've ever seen!
I do something similar using parsec to stream my PC games to my tablet. Works great with controller and keyboard mouse.
Great accessories for gaming, consoles, and what sort for hardwares?
ok I need this lol
So how did you route the hdmi cables from the different devices?
I just posed this idea to my girlfriend expecting a swift “lol no”, but apparently the allure of having me actually go to bed when she does gave her reason to consider this. Thanks for the run down, I know what I’m doing this afternoon now!
The Thumbnail is the best part!
You should try to find right angle connectors to clean up the cables a bit, maybe even two connected together for a 180
Going to have to try that shroom coffee!
Hmm that monitor arm on bed looks cool...my wife not so thrilled.
OH! I have a solution for charging controllers. Magnetic charge tips and cables. There is a popular one on amazon that comes with 4 cables of different sizes and a TON of Tips for your controllers. I would also buy an aftermarket joycon grip that has the charging port.
Pair that with a multi-port wall charger or a charge base station and you can charge your kindle also.
Curious about max refresh rate you are able to achieve via hdmi actually and also gsync capability... could you let me know ?
"Load up stadia and see if it has gotten any better"
Let me save you 2 minutes 😂
Keyboard setup like this for a table behind couch?
Does it work with regular gaming monitors? The boomarms setup and things
Get a shelf for the peripherals?
