@KidneyNutritionInstitute Keep making more videos plz! Love it. Finally a great explanation of the issue with calcium and phosphorus, wondering if I should avoid getting phosphorus foods in my new diet. Salmon, soybeans, cashews and eggs have some but its still under 100% of required daily value, I heard its better to have too little than too much, any of those foods too high for phosphorus ? Thoughts ? Thank you! I don't have any kidney issues if it helps.

Hello Rodrigo, thank you for your comment! Naturally existing phosphorus from foods like nuts aren't as much of a concern, especially if you have no kidney issues. It is mainly the added inorganic phosphorus that we watch for more closely, often found in processed foods. You'll know there's added phosphorus when you check the ingredients list of a food product and it has an ingredient with "phos" in the name.
