Our family lives in California and we have visited Ramsau and Berchtesgaden and hiked many of the same trails you have presented on your videos. I can say this lake will be my second love after i visit halstatt lake in austria. I love the view there in hintersee and your hiking experience. Its very informational since we dont have a car. In the Spring of 1945 as all of Germany fell to allied forces, the families of important Nazis were sent to Hintersee to shelter there. No doubt the beautiful mountains offered some consolation and sense of normalcy in a world destroyed.
Thank you for sharing that historical insight. It is sobering to think about the complexities of history and the role these beautiful landscapes played during challenging times.
I enjoy your Ramsau Berchtesgaden videos very much. I plan to visit this area next year and your videos are helpful. What is the price fare for the bus since you have to pay cash?
The bus transportation system in Berchtesgaden is free if you stay at any hotel in Berchtesgaden for 3 or more nights. I recommend at least 5 days in Berchtesgaden because that region is huge and has a lot to offer. You still have to pay a fee for the bus that goes to Bindalm and Hirschbichl. I think it was about 8 Euroes. I don't remember the exact amount

There are limited bus in winter. I might try reverse from Lake to forest. Thank you for video. It is snowy.
