Hello everyone, I hope you enjoy watching all my videos of Germany as much as I enjoyed making them. You can watch the other videos I filmed in Germany here: ruclips.net/p/PL0wwMzq5-Q2jW45Ff8jtMSQEPp7bsaDwp
Watching from Texas! Actually, I enjoy your style in vlogging. It's comprehensive and informative. Berchtesgaden is really beautiful! Without your video, I would not have known this place. I had been to Oberammergau, Germany for a pilgrimage. Good luck! I hope you will get more subscribers.😊
What an absolute beautiful video. Has to be the best I've ever viewed on Berchtesgaden. I was born and adopted in Berchtesgaden in 1947. How special, at the end of the video, when you strolled past the statue in front of Markplatz 4 - the building where my biological mother either worked or lived in 47. Thank you so very much for taking me home for a visit to my birthplace that I left so long ago - 1953. Rest assured my friend - you look great and talk perfectly. Fondest regards from Susanville, Calif.
Thank you deeply for sharing your personal connection to Berchtesgaden! It is truly heartwarming to hear about your birthplace and the memories it holds for you. I am thrilled that the video could bring back those cherished moments, and I appreciate your kind words and feedback. You comment made my day. Thank you so much 🙏
I’m American living in NC and I travel all of the time. Just found your channel a few days ago. I love it. It is helping me research my next trip through Germany and Austria. So I find your talks more entertaining than the silent walking videos that I will have the tendency to doze off. Your videos cover more territory than others which I like.
I'm from Tennessee, USA, and I love your videos. We will be in Berchtesgaden in June so this one was very helpful. I'm sorry that more Americans are not open to watching or listening to you - it's their loss!
Thank you, Amanda, for the kind comment. Fortunately, youtube has started to slowly find the right audience for these videos. The process is slow but I certainly hope it will eventually work out. Have a wonderful trip!
You asked a valid question near the end of the video. I am from Texas. I enjoy watching your videos because you have a passion for the topic. You have underrated authentic content with a good story and/or personality behind them 👍
I appreciate your feedback. You are right. Passion is the only thing that makes me keep making these videos. I would have quit a long time ago if I only care about views or fame 😊
I agree with you Chris. These are places I would never visit. Other travel channels just show you the tourist stuff. I do wish United States would make traveling to our great national parks more accessible to the public. The Europeans really make an effort to allow anyone and everyone to enjoy nature
I'm enjoying your videos and appreciate your candid, informational approach. Like you, I also enjoy the smaller towns versus large cities. My wife and I were just in Berchtesgaden in June and really loved it there. We are from California to answer your question later in the vid. Your videos have been a great help, thanks!
I would watch your Californian videos. And your videos are never boring. Fantastically well made and informative. You are blessed to visit so many places
Loved the video. My wife and I live in Australia and are looking forward to an 8 week tour around Europe including Germany later this year. Thank you so much
Hi, I'm Alison from Singapore and I've enjoyed watching your video on Berchtesgaden. I'll be staying in Berchtesgaden for 3 nights in June and your video has been very useful to me in my planning. Thank you very much. Do keep on making videos and don't bother about those people who are prejudiced and bigoted. They can keep on living in their own small world if they choose to. It's their loss for having a narrow mindset.
I really appreciate your comment and thank you so much for watching. I am glad you are visiting Berchtesgaden. It is such a beautiful town with so many beautiful places in the surrounding area such as Lake Konigssee. ruclips.net/video/hqkMPDnRni8/видео.html
I was searching for videos on travel in Europe and discovered your video. I loved when I travelled to Europe and need to watch the ones on Salzburg and also I don't like big cities either but I did really enjoy Vienna and will watch those videos also. I am enjoying your videos very much and you are doing an excellent job taping!! Im an older single male that is retired and I live in the USA and live in Bismarck, North Dakota. I have been in California many, many times as I have friends living near Sacramento. I fell in love with Europe and hope some day to make another trip back
I am glad you found my videos and thank you so much for the comment. I also enjoyed Vienna and filmed a few videos there. I used to live in Vienna by the way. I am headed back to Europe next month for another big trip. More videos of Europe coming soon 😀
You asked how I found your channel. I was watching some videos on Munich and your video popped up about Munich airport. I watched it and really enjoyed it. I spent the rest of my day watching as many as I could. I really enjoy your channel. You go to some amazing places and do a fantastic job describing the area you are in. I live in Dallas, Texas and I'm big fan of your channel. Keep up the great work. I'm so very glad I found your channel.
To add to my other comment, I also like that you show alot of the area you are walking around. It helps me know if it's easy walking or uneven terrain and what people are wearing. Thanks for making your videos of these places to visit. They are very informative and well videoed.
Your feedback is much appreciated and thank you for your response. I also filmed many videos in Austria that might be helpful. You can check them out here if you are interested: ruclips.net/p/PL0wwMzq5-Q2iSfRgJC9M3c-0xtMh3y8sr
From North Dakota. First trip to Germany and Austria and researching on Eagles Nest I came across your video on it. Enjoyed your historical comments and what you showed so watched this one too. Like what you show off the beaten path. Keep making them.
You need not worry about certain viewers not being interested in watching your videos as this video is very well put together, brother. I came across your video and I have been to the North of Germany but, was excited to see your video of the Bavarian Alps. So beautiful and idyllic ( picturesque ). Looking forward to seeing more. There might be a lot of ignorance in this world but if people have a problem with how you look or sound, it’s their loss. I admire your courage for going around the world and your video content that you share. Thank you and know that you are appreciated. Greetings from Texas! God bless you as you travel. You seem like you love the Lord. I do myself. I appreciate God’s creation and I am mesmerized by the beauty of God’s creative majesty. Cheers! Thanks again! Well done.
I really appreciate your thoughtful comment. It truly made my day, and I am so grateful for your kind words. I am glad you discovered my video. God bless, and thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts!
Thank you so much for such a wonderful, informative and delightful video. My husband and I really enjoyed watching the video and walking through it with you. We also loved how you explained everything as you walked and video everything. When you reached the small chapel, I really wanted for you to go inside, and you did! That made me so happy!! My husband and I will be going this year to Hallstat and Salzburg, but we will now visit this place thanks to your amazing video. We also appreciate visiting small towns. Many blessings to you. Nice work.
Thank you so much for the feedback and comment. That small chapel was really special and I am glad I visited it. The whole region is so beautiful. You will definitely enjoy it. I also filmed 2 videos in Hallstatt. You can find part 1 here: ruclips.net/video/nLL9hv_f2DQ/видео.html
Answering your q-n: why I keep watching your videos? The are at least 4 reasons: 1. You happen to show the places which are on my bucket list and I'm going to visit them pretty soon (like Berchtesgaden in 2 months). 2. You show all the attractions and places slowly, in details, without much haste - that's the way I love - and you give us lots of helpful hints 3. You show the places - not yourself, not your kids, not your car - which is not always obvious. 4. You have a beautiful accent, which I personally love Keep on doing like that, you're doing great job! Regards from Poland!
I remember now, I was searching for videos on Eagles Nest and came upon your video when you were there. They have changed it since I was there and added more walk ways and the souvenir shop was inside the main building but now I see it is outside. I so love Europe and your videos
They recently made a lot of changes to Eagles Nest. The Dokumentation Obersalzberg museum is still under construction and it will remain closed till Fall 2023.
Answering your question, I am mexican, l've lived in Mexico all my life, and came across your videos when I was looking for information about the hike from Ramsau to Hintersee, since we are planning a trip to Germany in a couple of years. Let me tell you that your videos have been the most informative, full of useful details and tips that I have encountered so far. Thank you very much for your help!
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. I have been to Mexico and I love it but unfortunately I did not film my visits because I did not have a youtube channel at the time. I might visit Mexico this year, though. I am glad you found my videos helpful.
Hello. I just watched your video from starts to finish. I was searching for some videos on Bertchesdaden and yours popped up. Yours is the best of the videos I watched, by far. I enjoyed it a lot. I am 82. I was in the US Army in 1964 and was sent to Bertchesdaden for a week. (long story why) I was based near Frankfurt. I thought Bavaria was an enchanted place and went there whenever I could. Also went into Austria, Switzerland, and northern Italy. At this point in my life I enjoy looking at videos of places I visited long ago. Would like to go there again, but that is not possible now. I did go to France and England a few years ago. I grew up in Louisiana and have lived in Texas, South Caroline, and now Maryland. Will look at more of your videos. Thanks for them.
Thank you so much for your service in the US Army and for taking the time to share your experiences here. I appreciate your kind words. It means a lot to me that you enjoyed the video about Berchtesgaden, especially given your personal connection to the area. Your story of being in the US Army in 1964 and spending time in Berchtesgaden is fascinating, and it's clear that you have some amazing travel experiences under your belt. Bavaria and the surrounding regions are truly enchanting, and I'm glad the video brought back some great memories for you. Please feel free to explore my youtube home page. I've shared many videos of Austria, Germany, France, Portugal, and many other countries. I hope you enjoy them. Wishing you all the best in Maryland.
I subscribed to your channel recently, my husband and I absolutely love your channel. We are located in Virginia USA near the Blue Ridge Mountains. We like how you explain everything in detail and how your tone of voice is so soothing. We like to see towns, old historical buildings like churches, parks and the hiking trails. We have learn a lot from your videos and we want to thank you for your dedication and humility. We are interested in Germany and Spain videos but I would like to see the California videos. So that you know my husband and I see your videos from beginning to the end. Gos bless you.🤗👍
Thank you so much for the kind comment and feedback. I wish I had filmed my previous trip to Spain. I visited Spain back in 2019, but I was kind of a newbie to RUclips thing at the time and did not know that much about making videos. I am tempted to visit Spain soon. I visited Portugal this last Spring and I really enjoyed it and I filmed a lot there. You can find my recent Portugal videos here in case you are interested: ruclips.net/p/PL0wwMzq5-Q2g0kl9kPpz39WLf1jfYApKV
I'm from Vietnam, like watching your vidoes because you showed us pretty detail about the place and how to take public transportation to that place, good for my future traveling plan, thanks a lot
Hello,, I’m Noura a solo female traveler,, I’m planning this month to visit Bavaria and Berchtesgaden,, I saw your videos and I enjoyed so much,, very helpful and easy to understand and plan my trip,, thanks and I wish you best of luck in your journey around the world
Berchtesgaden is an absolutely spectacular town. The small villages near Berchtesgaden are even better. I really enjoyed Ramsau village. I made a long video of Ramsau here: ruclips.net/video/konIEhNuMfM/видео.html
I am an Indian. and I live in Bangalore, India. I love travelling and I love your videos because I get to explore beautiful places through your videos.
I appreciate your feedback, Neethu, and thank you for watching my videos. I was 5 years old when I visited Mumbai, India with my parents. It is still on my bucket list. I'd love to do a walk-and-talk video in India someday.
Hi. Thanks for putting out these great videos. I’ll be visiting Berchtesgaden in May and I’ll be sure to take your recommendations. Can’t wait to visit!
I was in the military stationed in Illeshiem Germany in 1990 to 1996 and traveled to Salzburg and Berchtesgaden often. It brings back so many memories thank you
Enjoy all your Videos , perfect apart love the way you explore the unexplored ,Off beat places away from touristic noise. Keep sharing ,Love from India 🙂.
Hi! I am from the Philippines and planning to visit Germany and Austria soon. True that your walking vlog is different from others but yours is really helpful because it shows the street view so I can actually decide if I will include this in my itinerary or not. Thank you! Your accent and face is definitely NOT a turn off as you say. 😊
Thank you for taking the time to comment and answer the question. The good news is that youtube has started to find the right audience for this type of content. Every content on youtube has its own audience regardless of how good or bad the content creator is. Sometimes it just takes time for the youtube algorithm to figure out who the right audience for this content is. By the way, my best friend is married to a woman from the Philippines. Great people 👍
Hi I love your videos it like walking with you I’m from Pittsburgh Pa. I travel to Austria and Bavaria but have not been there since 2015 thank you for the videos
I’m an Indian, living in India and love to travel. I’m planning a trip to Salzburg and Eagle’s Nest this summer and found your Berchtesgaden video very useful. Will see your other videos soon. A little information on wheelchair accessibility will be appreciated as I am a full time wheelchair user and accessibility information will help me plan my trips. Thanks
I am glad you found my video helpful. I filmed a lot of videos in Germany and Austria and I am still filming more in other countries as well. Thank you for bringing up the wheelchair accessibility subject. This is very important information that I have to pay attention to when filming my future videos. I really appreciate your comment. Have a safe trip!
As long as ur vedios are quality vedios with good dose of information,it hardly matters hw u look or sound. And by the way u sound nd look good nd make good vedios. I m currently in love with Bavaria nd it is on my bucket list.
I enjoy watching your videos because you visit secluded sites and provide detailed information. It is quite interesting. I am from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Thank you for sharing.
Why do I watch your videos ? Answer : Because they are interesting, you give out useful information, for example what bus service to use to get from Salzberg to Berchtesgaden, as you did in your Eagles Nest video, how to get from Berchtesgaden to the Documentation centre, for the bus to the Eagles Nest and ticket office etc. You are the only channel I have seen do this, and have watched a lot of Berchtesgaden and Eagles Nest videos, so thank you for that. In addition I am surprised and shocked to hear that just because the way you look and speak is turning people off watching your videos, what the actual ? Just found your channel this month and thank you so much and keep up the great work, My partner and I are from England, he is from Warwickshire, England and myself Wednesbury England. Really did enjoy this video and the Eagles Nest one !
Thank you for the video. I am from Hawaii and enjoy your informative videos. Your videos share exactly what to do. I enjoy your nature videos and choose the similar locations to travel. I first viewed your Iceland video. The next video series was Switzerland, but it's not on your Playlist currently. I currently viewed the Austria series and now this Berchtesgaden.
Thank you for watching! I'm glad you find the videos helpful. Currently, my Switzerland series is set to private, but I hope you enjoy exploring Berchtesgaden! Also, if you liked Iceland, you might enjoy the Faroe Islands. I recently visited and filmed a lot there. Here's the playlist of my Faroe Islands videos in case you are interested: ruclips.net/p/PL0wwMzq5-Q2gy_gEKRY12gW6bxp-iFD8J
I'm from France, I love Berchtesgaden and so I'm very happy to see your videos in that area. You explain very well👍🤩no matter how you sound or how you look.
We stopped in Berchtesgaden and we were short on time so I did not get to explore the town like I would have liked but what I did see, I really enjoyed and it is a gorgeous place.
I live in Texas North Houston and I absolutely love your videos. Thank you so much. I have traveled in Europe and I love Germany and Austria and the North European countries. ❤ European countries.
Thank you for sharing this video because I am going to Bavaria in July and in the area of Berchtesgaden and you take the most beautiful informative videos. I will be hiring a car for four days and wonder if I could drive this area, then stop and walk for awhile. Can a person drive near that small chapel? Thank your video is awesome.
You are welcome. It is better to hire a car to explore that region because the bus schedule might slow you down. The only problem with hiring a car is that you might have a hard time finding parking especially during a busy season. You will not be able to park near that chapel. You will have to hike to it but the hike is not that long.
I am Polish-born middle age woman leaving in Canada for most of my life. Love to explore the world and hike a lot. Will travel to Austria and Slovenia in September. Your videos are very helpful. Good job. You are very professional and what you present is so interesting. I am blond woman, my English is good, but yours is better. Don't worry about your accent. It is interesting. And you are handsome. Those Americans who don't appreciate your hard, good work are ignorant and limited. All the best for you. I don't know your nationality. I appreciate you. Good luck.😊😃
Why would people see your face or hear your voice and switch off. That’s crazy. I watch your videos because you show so much. I am originally from Cape Town South Africa but have been living in the UK for four years.
This happens only when the audience is 100% from the USA. As I mentioned in the video, there is a big portion of the population here in the U.S that don't interact with people from different cultures and people who sound and look different. Fortunately, my audience is diverse from all over the world.
Thank you for this wonderful video. I was looking for a base to visit Salzburg and I think I made up my mind after watching this video. I was trying to choose between the towns of Bad Reichenhall, Ramsau, Konigsee and Berchtesgaden. Which town do you recommend to stay to discover this region ? Regards, Abdulrahman From Bahrain
This depends on what method of transportation you will be using to move around Berchtesgaden region. If you will be using public transportation, then I suggest you stay in Berchtesgaden town because it is the main hub for the buses. If you are planning on renting a car, then you might consider Ramsau which is a small quiet village near Berchtesgaden town. You can check out my Ramsau video here: ruclips.net/video/konIEhNuMfM/видео.html You can visit Salzburg on a day trip from Berchtesgaden. It is only a 50-minute bus ride. Just keep in mind that Berchtesgaden region is huge and you might need at least 5 days to enjoy what it offers.
Just watch out for the cattle. They can be aggressive protecting their young/ family. Happy travels and I used to live in Westwood near UCLA myself. California is awesome. So is Deutschland und Bavaria. Cheers!
@WandererBell There is snow all over the place and the lookout platform stairs was covered with snow. I couldn't find the other trail so I went back to small church.
Don't worry much who views your videos. Aim for quality travel guide with loads of insider tips like for walking paths, what's the landmark starting & ending point. Highlight the walking path in google map. Do a time lapse maybe to avoid dragging trekking time. Most travellers use public transport to cut cost: Another pointers, also cost of entrance fees to attractions. That's what details I usually gather from travel vlogs. If it's all talking face on screen, most likely I go to next vlog.
Hello everyone, I hope you enjoy watching all my videos of Germany as much as I enjoyed making them. You can watch the other videos I filmed in Germany here: ruclips.net/p/PL0wwMzq5-Q2jW45Ff8jtMSQEPp7bsaDwp

You can find my recent Portugal videos here in case you are interested:

Berchtesgaden Castle looks amazing and what gets me is that the streets are immaculate
Awesome! Have a wonderful trip.
I was in the military stationed in Illeshiem Germany in 1990 to 1996 and traveled to Salzburg and Berchtesgaden often. It brings back so many memories thank you

So nice of you. Thank you for the comment.
Thank you so much for the kind words! I am glad you find the info helpful. Your comments means a lot!
I enjoyed this scenery in the winter. Instead of green, everything is white snow.
I agree. The snow offers unique scenery.
@@WandererBell yes, so many places to go ... everything I return home, the spiders create more web when I gone
Excellent and your umbrella was a bargain at 10e. Appreciate your efforts
Thank you. I am glad you enjoyed it.
I'm Thai. I like your VDO. Your explanation can guide me to plan my trip there.
Awesome! Thank you.
Fantastically captured surroundings, impressive editing skills too. What a place 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you for the kind comment.
I'm from France, I love Berchtesgaden and so I'm very happy to see your videos in that area. You explain very well👍🤩no matter how you sound or how you look.
Thank you! 😃
I was planning to visit Berchtesgaden one day! My father visited the place many years ago with my mother!
Awesome!
What a beautiful video. Thank you for sharing!
Awesome! Glad to hear that and thank you for the feedback.
We stopped in Berchtesgaden and we were short on time so I did not get to explore the town like I would have liked but what I did see, I really enjoyed and it is a gorgeous place.
It is one of my favorite towns in Germany. The surrounding areas are gorgeous and deserve more time to explore.
I like very much your description about berchtesgaden. I plan a visit in September to this area.
Glad it was helpful! Enjoy your trip.
@@WandererBell than you very much!
Im watching because i got plan to travel in these region in the future. Thanks for information
Thank you. Have fun!
I live in Texas North Houston and I absolutely love your videos. Thank you so much. I have traveled in Europe and I love Germany and Austria and the North European countries.
❤ European countries.
Thank you for the kind comment. I will be spending this summer in Northern Europe. A lot of videos are coming up soon. Thank you for watching.
Love your work 👍🏻
Thank you! Cheers!
Lovely videos
Thank you!
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. I really appreciate your feedback. You made my day 😊😊
Your video are beautiful. No one is going to turn away. Keep up the good work. From USA. Born in
Germany. I am an old, old lady. See you later
Thank you so much for letting me know. I really appreciate your kind feedback.
I live in California and love travel all over the world.
Awesome!
Beautiful video , my mothers hometown, you forgot to mention Hitler had his summer home war bases here. Most popular Eagles Nest.
Thank you. I have a full video of Eagles Nest where I covered that subject in details:

good location!
I think so too!
Regards,
Abdulrahman
From Bahrain
This depends on what method of transportation you will be using to move around Berchtesgaden region. If you will be using public transportation, then I suggest you stay in Berchtesgaden town because it is the main hub for the buses. If you are planning on renting a car, then you might consider Ramsau which is a small quiet village near Berchtesgaden town. You can check out my Ramsau video here: ruclips.net/video/konIEhNuMfM/видео.html
You can visit Salzburg on a day trip from Berchtesgaden. It is only a 50-minute bus ride. Just keep in mind that Berchtesgaden region is huge and you might need at least 5 days to enjoy what it offers.
@@WandererBell Thanks a lot Wanderer. I would be renting a car. So you think Ramsau is prettier than Berchtesgdan ?
@@zilfi111 Both towns are beautiful. It's a matter of personal preference.
I like to watch your videos.
Glad to hear that! Thank you 🙏
Thank you from usa
So nice of you
Sehr schon !!!! ❤❤❤
Danke
If people don’t like your videos, then there is something wrong with them
It is fun to do these videos. It has become a hobby 😀
Just watch out for the cattle. They can be aggressive protecting their young/ family. Happy travels and I used to live in Westwood near UCLA myself. California is awesome. So is Deutschland und Bavaria. Cheers!
Thanks for the heads-up about the cattle! California and Bavaria both have their own special charm. Cheers and happy travels to you too!
I arrived and it's snow instead of green grass.
I heard Berchtesgaden has a beautiful Christmas market. Enjoy it!
@WandererBell They also have Krampus and Buttnmandl running around till 11 pm with loud bells scaring people.
@WandererBell There is snow all over the place and the lookout platform stairs was covered with snow. I couldn't find the other trail so I went back to small church.
@@WandererBell The hotel was simple but convenient to catch the busses. Limited winter schedule.
The hotel has a nice restaurant with reasonable prices.
I watch the video. Its very good video.I will go there end diss video help me
Don't worry much who views your videos.
