Back in the long long ago past my Grandmother lived in a small town miles away from any city. But they had a Ben Franklin store. It had everything. Better quality than Woolworth or other 5 and dime stores. So I think 5below is like the old old Ben Franklin.
@Lynda Of Iowa, I'm from Iowa, too. I grew up on a farm not too far from Iowa Falls, which had a Ben Franklin store, too. Every time we got to town, we would stop at Ben Franklin and I would go right to the candy aisle and get a bunch of candy for 50 cents!!! Candy was so cheap back then. I miss that old store, and believe it or not, Iowa still have a few of those stores around. Thanks for letting me ramble about the good ole days! 5 Below really does not compare, but it is fun to go into.
We had a Ben Franklin in South River, NJ. The BEST store! As kids we’d walk “downtown” from home and buy candy, cheap fake nails, and makeup. Our allowance went far! My Grandmother wanted a tape measure that retracted into a circular case. She searched the mall and K-Mart; nothing. She went to Ben Franklin and the woman said, “I think we have one in the back.” They did! They were the only store that carried Lisa Frank school supplies in the 90s that my older daughter loved. I miss that store.

Board Games--When our entire family gets together we play Left, Right, Center and Double Ditto. Ages 2 - 100 can play and that's why they are our go to games. With the 4 year old we like Guess Who and Kerplunk. Adults is Clue and Wits & Wagers. Actually one New Year's Eve our 3 year old grandson played Wits and Wagers with us and he won. He might not have understood the question and he scribbled numbers on his paper but when we asked him where to place his answer on the board he told us, and when we asked him who's answer he wanted to bet on and how much money to bet, well let's just say he was a natural at that part. Thank you for your videos.
Every time I watch you I laugh out loud at your quirky humor. Thanks for the laughter - and for giving me a reason to check out 5 Below, which I've never visited.
My favorite 5 Below buy is the $10 comforter for my queen bed. Great size, washed well and lightweight but fluffy!! I was skeptical but it is perfect. I definitely recommend!!!!
When can please make a video about the top 10 universal remotes. Just think about how many Devices you have. That use remotes. And sometime I’m tired to use five remotes to do one thing.
I got a headset for my Mom for Christmas 2019, it’s still going! I recently checked it out & they aren’t too bad! The even have a pause button that impressed me. Now I’m thinking about getting one for myself 😃
Around Christmas I looked all over the place for the Zuru 5 surprise mini capsules. They were out of stock everywhere we looked. I happen to walk in 5 Bellw and ask if they had them. They directed me to where they were and low and behold they had a whole box! At $5.00 they were $2.00 cheaper than any other place and I stocked up. I bought 8 or 10 and it was awesome. The kids loved them and we had fun watching them discover the 5 items enclosed inside. I opened one myself and since them I'm even hooked. So great deal. Recently i bought 2 of the Worlds smallest brand toys for $5.00 which is way below the Amazon price by about 50%. So I always check for those things when I'm in the ares.
I started watching you 04 months ago and since then you have maybe saved me a lot of money on items or maybe caused marital bliss with all of the boxes though I’m not sure which, but either way I love it and I love your channel!!
I don't know. I think a lot of things are rounded up to be a nice clean price- not always a bargain. Licensed characters for sure if that is your jam. Definitely agree on the fitness equipment and electronic cables.
There's always a risk in buying USB cables that aren't USB-IF certified. As in risk of destroying your phone or starting a fire. None of the ones I saw at 5 Below were certified.
We took our three grandkids to Five Below to shop for Christmas gifts for each other, their parents and us, their grandparents. They had so much fun shopping the store! We left with gifts for everyone for just $130!!! I enjoy your channel and learn something every time!! PS: Try a more casual look with an open collar to balance out the head/body thing!
I love this video. You crack me up. I took my niece to a Five Below for her first time right before Christmas, and it’s now one of faves. She wanted to know why I hadn’t taken her there before. Yes, we overstocked 3 houses full of extra car chargers and chargers for all our devices! Great video as usual!
I bought a kettle ball from 5 Below and it works great for me. I may have to go back and get some more workout equipment just switch up my we orkout routine. 5 below is definitely like a high end dollar tree.
Matt, you're doing a great public service with the deals you tell us about. Before this video I had no idea about 5 Below. I had been cherry-picking deals at Costco, Dollar Tree, the middle aisle of Aldi, Big Lots, and Harbor Freight but now thanks to you, I have a new place to check out All the best to you, and keep up the good work
Hi Matt! Was wondering if you’ve ever done a review of “Daiso” stores? Not sure if you have one near where you are but it’s one of my fave store chains!! It’s like a Japanese Dollar store but quality on the items seem to be pretty good despite the price....just a suggestion... Thanks for all your insight on the products you review - it’s awesome!!
Ladies! One of the best items there are their slanted tweezers for $2. They don't have them often so when they do, I usually buy 4 or 5 pairs. I am always giving them to my neices. They are on a cardboard backing and are usually hanging on a turnstyle with the nail clippers/files. Thanks Matt! I also love their dog beds/blankets and kids character robes! I send those out to the 'grands' every year. Also - THE BEST ITEM AT 5 BELOW ... Their oversized zipper bags. $2 each. They used to (at least at my store) have them in the check out isle but then stopped. But they got them back at Christmas time so I bought 20. These are the best things on the earth. From laundry, groceries, carry on, go bags... They are AMAZING! And my family keeps stealing mine. We have just started using them as reusable recycling bags. The kids load the recycling in them, they go in the shed and then off to the recycling center. We bring the bags home and throw in the tub to wash or at laundromat and they are ready for the next adventure. I have NEVER had a zipper break or a handle come undone. They are like 2' x 2' x 8" wide. Thanks Matt for the video.
I completely agree with the headphones! My kids have the Bluetooth ones for home/road trip use and cord ones for school (they were required). We got them in Dec and they’re still going strong. They were each $6 maybe. So even if they broke not a big deal. My daughter even prefers her cheap ones compared to her beats because they are so light weight.
I remember when “5 Below” everything was under $5.00 and now it is up to $10.00, it needs to change the name to “Ten Below” I agree with you on there selections! Love see you!!!!
I've heard of this store on a dumpster diving you tubers channel. We finally got one & been waiting months for it to open. It's now open & can't wait to check it out especially since I watched this vid!! 💜👍🏻

Matt, I love 5 below for inexpensive coworker gifts for our gift exchange at Christmas as well as gifts for my grandkids because besides the toys, they have a great selection of books. I have purchased scarves, gloves, books, toys as well as some headphones and cables there. I do hold off on gift bags, cards and candy and purchase those at Dollar Tree. Thanks so much for another awesome video! I need to check out that succulent fountain you bought your Mom, I like it too!!

I bought my dog a pack of balls from 5 below and they lasted for 2 years!! He’s a big German Shepherd so he normally tears right through his toys. I would definitely recommend getting pet supplies there.
They have an awesome selection for car stuff. I got a cup phone holder for my 11 hour drive in a rental car and it was so nice I didn't have to spend a lot of money on a phone holder and it was renter friendly! My husband got almost the exact same one I got but for triple the price at Walmart. They also have other RUclipsrs' merch there as well. You can get some really cute cheap graphic tees there too. I just absolutely love 5 Below!

The backstabbing and sudden mergers of allegiance makes Monopoly go on for no less than four hours with my family, XD
@@BewareTheLilyOfTheValley lmfao 🤣 💀 same my brother is the worst 😭 and his laugh is contagious 😂 knocking you out of the game and cackling like a hyena.
Dam that a great idea.
I have never seen him do a video about universal remotes.
Fantastic idea!!
It's similar to Big Lots without furniture, food, and housecleaning supplies. Kids love shopping here!
Never been to Five Below but after watching this video, I might visit Five Below 👍🏽
Let me know what you think!
I got a headset for my Mom for Christmas 2019, it’s still going! I recently checked it out & they aren’t too bad! The even have a pause button that impressed me. Now I’m thinking about getting one for myself 😃
“And for that I was lightly punched”. Hilarious!
I love your humor!
Love you for being here with me Ellaree!
I started watching you 04 months ago and since then you have maybe saved me a lot of money on items or maybe caused marital bliss with all of the boxes though I’m not sure which, but either way I love it and I love your channel!!
Five Below >>>>> Dollar Store for hipsters!! 👍😂👍😂
5 below has great cookbooks , air fryers, juicer, slow cookers yoga etc
I never go into my 5below store! Now I just want to jump in my car and check it out!
Five below is great. I never walk out of there spending less than $75-100. Gadgets "Galore" Love you Matt!!!
Do you have a dollar general where you live and can ya do some deals on that i feel that store don't get a whole lotta attention.
Good idea!
There was a good one recently from Do it on a Dime!
I love your enthusiasm in EVERY SINGLE VID! Your sense of humor that you incorporate is just awesome!! You bring joy to my day. Thank you! 😊😊
Thanks for your information and videos I appreciate you
Can't beat the ankle wts. & the very good quality Bluetooth mini speakers with or without moonlights.
I've been a fan of Five Below in the past 5 yrs.
Candy and sodas, especially Japanese 😋 items. Great quality, taste, price and variety! Check it out!
I was very expressed with their art supplies!! I wish this store was around when my daughter was growing up.
Great video I haven’t been to 5 below in ages but I’m going after work today
Your energy is so fun! Thanks for the joy.
I remember when I discovered five below two years ago lol I was telling everyone about it.
I don't know. I think a lot of things are rounded up to be a nice clean price- not always a bargain. Licensed characters for sure if that is your jam. Definitely agree on the fitness equipment and electronic cables.
I've tge braided charging/ sync cables from 5 below to be superior to those I've bought on Amazon!
Thanks good to know! I will check it out because I am so tired of the over paying at Amazon and Target. Thanks very much!
There's always a risk in buying USB cables that aren't USB-IF certified. As in risk of destroying your phone or starting a fire. None of the ones I saw at 5 Below were certified.
This is a great video. I’ve often wondered what a $5 store carried. Now, I’ll check out a $5 Below because of your video.
The Glorified Dollar Store
You are not only adorable, but helpful! Thank you!
$5 Below
"Everything you almost need for almost $5 dollars."
I actually have never been to the one that opened in my town almost 2 years ago..lol
I love this video. You crack me up. I took my niece to a Five Below for her first time right before Christmas, and it’s now one of faves. She wanted to know why I hadn’t taken her there before. Yes, we overstocked 3 houses full of extra car chargers and chargers for all our devices! Great video as usual!
why am I watching this? I literally just got fired from five below
I bought a kettle ball from 5 Below and it works great for me. I may have to go back and get some more workout equipment just switch up my we orkout routine. 5 below is definitely like a high end dollar tree.
i go into 5 below thinking im winning when i hit the register my total at $155 -______-
Yes, they do add up quickly... haha...
Matt, you're doing a great public service with the deals you tell us about. Before this video I had no idea about 5 Below. I had been cherry-picking deals at Costco, Dollar Tree, the middle aisle of Aldi, Big Lots, and Harbor Freight but now thanks to you, I have a new place to check out
All the best to you, and keep up the good work
$10? I thought this was Five Below.
It “was”, now it’s really Ten Below, next week...?
Parchessi Love that board game. And Their fleece lounging pants for $5 is a steal.
I would call it a variety store. Forgot to mention tee shirts with some throw back graphics . AWESOME
I've heard of this store on a dumpster diving you tubers channel. We finally got one & been waiting months for it to open. It's now open & can't wait to check it out especially since I watched this vid!! 💜👍🏻
The sunrise alarm clock is great! I wanted to try one out and it's easy to use and helps me ACTUALLY wake up!
The clock looks small though
@@LeviLeviLevi It is on the small side, but it gets pretty bright! I hung some picture ledges from IKEA next to my bed and put it right where my face is!
I love 5 Below and they often have really nice journals with prompts and guides that are geared for teens and up.
I got super great pajamas- novelty T-shirt and PJ pants from Five Below for everyone including myself for Christmas. So fun and I didn’t have to stand in any lines. Everyone loved them!
Mine and my daughter has the “Wet Bandits from Home Alone on them!
I get some of our stocking stuffers there too!
