It's COSTCO DAY - my favorite video of the month!! 🎉 If you enjoyed this video, please give it a THUMBS UP as it really helps my channel 👍🏼What deals are you looking for this holiday season? Let me know
I think we are about the same age. That Lord of the flies movie shocked me. I read the book after I watched the movie because I first saw it as a kid. Poor Piggy.
The $300 electric snow shovel is really pricey compared to the $100 one you talked about in the Sams video. I'm surprised you didn't mention that deal guy!
PSA! For anything silicone that you put in your oven, like the muffin pan shown here, don't wash them in the dishwasher! they clean up fine, that's not the issue - but the silicone expands in the heat and captures some soap residue, which it then hangs onto as it cools down, and releases again when heated in the oven, making your food taste soapy. I found this out a few years ago when I used to make pizza crusts on a silpat mat!
For anyone that is interested in the Gourmia air fryer, it’s excellent. I used mine all summer instead of going out in the heat to grill. The oven is big enough to bake a whole frozen pizza 🍕. Greatest invention ever. 😊
I've been a Sam's member for years but my sister recently got a Costco membership. So the first thing I told her was "Now I gonna start watching The Deal Guy's Costco videos." Your Dollar Tree and Sam's ones are my favorite.
For anyone picking up the layered wheat bread(porotta), for best results microwave (from frozen) on high setting for about .45 - 1 min per porotta, heat them on a hot skillet (cast iron or carbon steel preferred, oil is optional), crisping both sides lightly without burning them, and then stack them up on a cutting board and beat/crush them from the sides with both hands vigorously till the layers separates. Tastes best with all indian curries. Overheating on the microwave might affect the softness

@@ilovenoodles7483: I agree with your statement and method. Citrus is also important in recovery from the flu. Good luck 🍀 .
I bought that leather/ leatherette recliner and it’s so comfortable. So easy to assemble and It even rocks! The only problem with it is that when fully reclined, I often fall asleep.
You make these product highlights fun and energetic! Thank you once again for turning the products so we can stop the video and read the nutritional labels! As a Diabetic, and one for whom walking for too long can be an issue (bad knees) I really appreciate you doing that. It helps me plan my visit to this giant store and saves steps. Please don’t forget to turn the liquids (juice, wine, etc.,) if they also have nutritional breakdowns, that would be a wonderful help too. Glad you feel better.
HIGHLY recommend the Gourmia air fryer, I purchased 2 years ago ($119 on sale). It does it all, air fry, bake, toast. One of my top 5 purchases at Costco.
For $10, cats LOVE these door mats. The most economical cat scatchers ever. And they last forever. Matthew, you are like the old-school "As Seen on TV" guy! You are so efficient and very likeable. Keep them coming please. Costco Kona is my store.
Thank you so much for these posts! I have, at 61, been diagnosed with hypertension, and am on a most Vegan/Pescatarian/Heart Healthy diet. Please know that it is so great to be able to see the ingredients, sodium levels, etc. on these products. Helps me to make healthier, and cost effective, food choices. For me, my family and friends. And makes my shopping experience easier.
Costco wrapping paper is the best. I’ve literally had one roll for at least three Christmases and it wraps so easily beautifully. Love the wired ribbon, too
Thank you Matt. Even though I don't have a membership I just love your videos and enjoy watching them. Your humor is hysterical. Thank you. Have a blessed day
The Honey Citron Tea is fantastic! Two to three tsps in some hot water gives u a warm soothing beverage. It can be mixed to make a cold beverage as well. The honey ginger flavor is nice and subtle and the citrus peel and pieces expand to create a wonderful flavor! Buy this!
Tramontina pots-I’m in my 60’s & were just too heavy for me. Tupperware-I still use my MOTHERS Tupperware from the 60’s!! Like the Corelle dishes I got in 1980 they work perfectly.
Matthew, the way you flip those packages while holding the camera... I'm afraid you might crumble those cookies that you feature. lol. Your humor is truly one of a kind.
I Live 6000 nm from the nearest costco, yet enjoy these videos and eagerly wait every month to watch these, there is something calming about these videos especially the food/desert section of the video. Costco is the first place we have decided to visit when we would be visiting the US hopefully in summer 2025. Y'all are really lucky to have something like costco and all these deals.
Costco here has a lot of Asian products and has had the honey citron ginger tea for years. It is SOOO good. It’s not a true tea, more like a marmalade that you dissolve in hot water. It is excellent when you are sick. It is a huge amount though, and we usually can’t get through a whole jar before we get sick of it,
I have a Gourmia countertop oven and love it way more than I thought I would. Mine bakes cakes and makes toast. I also have multiple of the Wyatt and Ash rugs. I've washed them several times, and they always come out nice, soft, and clean. Thanks, Matt :) I'm going to have the hubs look for that cutting board.
11:27 It’s a South Indian style flaky flatbread made with all purpose flour. When toasted with little butter or ghee it goes great with any south Indian chicken curries. It can also be pulled like rotisserie chicken and the flakes mixed tossed with little chicken pieces and gravy, the dish is called kottu parota.
Hey Matt, Great buys today. I did get one of the cutting Boards you have shown here today. It is Beautiful and and will last several lifetimes. My son does Competitions BBQ and this will come in so handy. I also got a pair of The Uggs boots you had on earlier this week. great price on them. My Costco is all decked out for Christmas right now and looks so nice. I did get one of The Large Angels for my yard. I have a spot for my meditation garden where I do my Prayers...I picked up several of the bags of Candies and Nuts for Gifts. My Mailman and The Garbage Men in my area too. Great buys... The Little Green Machines is a fabulous Price and I got one of those for a gift too. The Honey Ginger tea is so delicious and it's good for you too. Ginger is very healing. Well Thanks Matt for another Great shopping trip. I had as much fun as you guys did, I'm sure. Thanks you for making my life so much easier. God Bless you...
Thanks for another great run down. Request: If possible, could you take a quick shot of the signs when showing kids clothing. It shows what sizes the items come in and it would be super helpful.
Incredibly, somehow, you always put out a Costco video just before I am going there! Thank you, as there are many items that you highlight that I would have missed.
That ginger citron tea is delicious. You can mix it with hot water, or tea, or a tiny bit of hot water to dissolve and then add ice water. You can also thin it with a bit of water and make a glaze for sweet breads, cookies, etc
We had it this week too and yes it’s at least 5 adult meals, idk why they don’t sell the potatoes by themself tho, they are sooo good. But with the meatloaf it’s perfect!
The muffin pans are also great for freezing single portions of soup and spaghetti sauce. Put them on a cookie sheet, fill, freeze, then pop the frozen food out and store in a freezer bag.
I just want to say that the Lego suitcase is incredibly well made and the backpack has water bottle sleeves, a luggage pass through, a laptop sleeve and the Lego circles on the front actually unzip for storage.
My wife and I LOVE the honey-citron-ginger tea. So comforting, and it genuinely eases flu symptoms, in our experience. Plus, the jelled form means no mucking about with tea bags or strainers. The citron peels in the tea, while sharp in flavor, have been candied in the honey, making them pleasantly edible - a good way to get a boost of Vitamin C.
The plaid wrapping paper was the only one members at our club wanted! All the plaid was gone from the easily accessible areas and other people wanting it waited for my husband to come help me get some (from the back, bottom section) so they could take what we didn't want.
