How do you dispose of your grease?
You could have done all that work in one skillet,you don't have to boil the milk. Fry the sausage add some flour cook for a few then add milk cook till thickened

I will never understand removing the sausage from the pan….
I just do it, to control the doneness of the sausage. I have had lot's of amazing sausage gravy before, where the sausage was left in.
