Oh, my…it seems the universe wanted our paths to cross…I am laying on my bed having just finished a meditation for calming the mind. Something told me to look at the Comments on my latest podcast. I did and saw yours. I went to your channel and listened to four or five of your lovely meditation and reflection videos. They soothed me enormously. Thank you. Your voice and accent is very lovely and just the tonic I needed on this stormy Saturday afternoon where I needed comfort. Thank you, I really hope we become friends ❤Liz x
Brian a coach? I think not. What you describe is the job description of a mentor, and/or mediator. (they are completely different.) The key skill in these roles of listening and advising, making a plan or talking about gaps. The coach is a different beast altogether, a coach pushes people to achieve. Of course if you want to do the difficult side of the business you go down the counselling pathway - but that can be stressful. Good to get some insights into Brian - and yes - it was a long podcast! I bet Liz, there are others in that group feeling the same way as you, but some are better at hiding it. The course will be a huge learning experience for you. You are lucky to be in the midst of other experts and be able to pick up more. In no time, you be talking, thinking like all those "experts" but then at the end of the day, you be uniquely you. How boring to be like everyone else and worse of all feeling and restricting yourself. I agree with Brian that this is the time to do something light and fun. You can still write a book about your mum in the future drawing some of the same anecdotes. Maybe 50 rather than 100 😂 is good enough? Rachel's course is for you learn the techniques. Maybe you don't need to write a full on novel at this time?
Bri you can mentor/coach me because I dunno WHAT I’m doing in general 😂. Yes take the mics out with you. More videos of the great outdoors 👍just in time for the summer.
