I went to elementary school with Nick Gilder's brother Steve. Steve was in high school. Bryan Adams took the place of Nick Gilder in the latter 70s in Sweeney Todd!😊❤️
Cool performance! I just tonight learned that Hot Child in the City and Roxy Roller are the same singer and I've loved both songs for like 35 years. Thank you and bless you Nick Gilder!
@@SteveSabo-d2t What huge hit ! That song still gets played and people really appreciate hearing it. Fantastic Bass, guitar, structure, beat and Nick singing it singing it to the perfect crescendo. I liked the B side too.
The first video I had watched was a 1977; He was complete difference in every possible way?? I would never have believed this is him 42 years later! He looks like he has lived a hard life.
Unfortunately the sound is over-driven and the bass is too heavy coz I can barely hear his voice in amongst my speakers hitting their constraints... I"m actually expecting to find the cones spat out on the desk in front of me at any moment now... XD
Wow the voice is not the same the wig is awful and he does not look good but I give him so much credit for getting up there and Still rocking and keeping it as young as he can good luck to him

He's a lovely English gent. He'd totally talk to you if you saw him off stage.

I still have my original 1975 vinyl copy from London Records.
Wonder if he still lives in BC ? Used to hang out with his brother back in the Burnaby days, his Dad had the same voice.
Yes, he moved back to Vancouver from the U.S.
The Surfrajettes also from Canada do a great instrumental version of Roxy Roller.
Another near-security cam quality phone video
You're gonna give back what you stole too

Blues
Yes, I guess they couldn’t find enough Blues Bands😅
Nick’s still good!
Where's Brian Adams? ✌
I don’t know 🤷🏻♀️. I loved that song “Lonely Night”
Brian Adams joined Sweeney Todd in 78 after Nick Gilder left.

Yeah exactly, i'm at work i thought i broke the computer speakers LOL but not. Kinda sucks
What the hell's going on? Is this a Red Carpet photo session or a rock concert?
To much noise, he can't do it like he did
Come on someone spend some money and get the right equipment sound is horrible

The man is in his 70s. He's a legend and doesn't need your "credit".
I actually thinks he sounds better, for years I thought a woman sang this song. No disrespect to him, just didn't know. Both ways he has a good voice.
@@shhh3185 I love the sound it great
