- In today’s video, we attend the Matts Offroad Recovery games. firstly, I was partnered up with Seth from Berm Peak. In our trial runs on the trail we ran into Jefe‘s bronco. In our attempt to help we almost ruined our ability to compete in the games.

The Orange jumpsuit was a good choice when looking from the Driver's point of view amidst the sea of spectators and Yellow-Vested workers.
Rudy, I was already impressed with your spotting and Seth's driving after watching previous video, but after seeing the challenge of breaking the u-joint and repairing on site in the weather, I'm even more amazed at how well you gelled as a team and performed.
Hopefully, this won't be the last collaboration between you.
Rudy in my opinion Rory pulling the Moorvair backwards in TrailMater definitely put on the best show.

Great video, Rudy! Kudos to whoever was running cameras for you. Seth did a great job driving, and got better and more confident as the trail progressed. I also think it was wonderful that you guys shared the People's Choice recognition with Rory and Laura. The crowd sounded like they loved both teams equally. And I hope you're adjusting easily to life on the outside, now that you're a free man and no longer in prison. 🤣

Rudy, my XJ is set up with less flex in rear "still running leaf springs" but a lot of flexibility in front-end. A stupidly HD rear bumper with tire mount, I can take spare tire mount off and add 2x2 tube. Then it's ridged enough to use as engine hoist about. Well i might have done that with it. 🤫

What a fun event to watch, lol! I'm sure it might be more fun to drive, but... Seth absolutely crushed his driving duties, for never have been wheeling before...! Tho, I would have been terrified to ride a bicycle down that trail, & he seemed to make it look like a lazy pedal to the park (saw it on his channel too, crazy!). Glad y'all got teamed up, & you did such a great job of explaining how to drive & where to run the Rudicon. Congrats ! & Thanx !

Make the jack handle mount on the front or rear of bumper,long ways kind like the older rv sewer hose storage if done right it would look good.
Have you got air on the Rudicon? Airing up the tires will give you more lift height! In the future, maybe a pipe snipe should find its way into your tool kit. Maybe even 2. You might find some that fit alongside your struts!

About 10:45 the tank on top. When it powered up. What were the yellow/green balls that fell? I have heard the “constant throttle, use brake to slow, not release go pedal”. Has anyone tried a throttle lock/hold?

Wow it is windy! You have sand in the rain drops on the windshield. And i don't think y'all threw it up there . And i believe Seth drove extra careful because that bike up on the roof is probably really pricey

They were installed incorrectly. They’re missing the washer that holds them on to the top ball joint.
Next Off Road Games .... Stock 4X4s, loaded like they would be on a trip, at rated payload or everyone carrying a few hundred pounds.
I would almost suggest a "Spec XJ" honestly. Just a bunch of Tangerines putting on a show would be awesome.

Wondering when the portals would fail.
I’m sure you know this, but you can’t just slap a supercharger on a stock vehicle and expect it to run right. The computer (especially OBD1) has upper and lower limits that it can “learn” for AFR. It absolutely needs a tune. Maybe I missed that part of your videos…
I feel like the course was too easy, even the Tangerine made it just fine. The Rudicon needs bigger challenges!
i think you should use the word STOP , you know the word made thousands of years ago for just such a thing might work better .
rudy when u installed the supercharger did u put bigger fuel injectors in. then get the computer retuned for the upgrades.that could be some of your running issues.

the reason it broke is its not a solid u joint it has the previsions for the grease zerk you need the ones that are solid with a zerk on each cap like i run

It was 100% the mechanic that installed them not the portals. They are working fine now.
