    I can't even tell you how synchronistically the Universe brought me to your book, Abundance Now... And to this video. For weeks I've been looking for clarity and guidance. You are a godsend. I needed this message because I too feel like because I work from home, time management will somehow take away my freedom. You put so much in perspective. You were honest, blunt and so relatable. And your book...is changing me as a person. I am loving the version of myself that is awakening through your book. Thank you for all the work you do 💚

    You are so motivating and it is so needed during this time. I like the concept of renaming your tasks. It makes the task at hand seem less daunting.

    I had just finished cooking supper. My kitchen was messy and not prepped before hand. I became stressed while cooking, unable to find items. I did not like these feelings, so I knew I had to focus on how I am going to get the feelings I do want more. I kept thinking "Ginger we have to get a system going, but this time it's going to work, because you know you're ready" So I decided to set my intentions this evening after dinner. I wasn't sure what to look up on RUclips for advice and motivation, then this one was right on my feed. I have brought meditation, and gorgeous foods into my life only weeks ago. Kicking bad habits to the curb, and increasing loving positive energy throughout the home, which quickly impacted my family. I used to sleep all day, because I got stuck in a cycle of being up all night. That led me to have no motivation, and went on for 3 years. I wished to feel normal, to wake up early and have a productive start. I have broke that cycle and wake up early now with so much energy and gratitude. In only less then a month I've transformed so much, and I'm now ready to bring my home into real order!
    I absolutely loved the "outcome idea" for the tasks and I know this is what I needed to hear. I am so excited to get started on tomorrows. I am going to check back in this comment in one month and update on my progress. Maybe sooner since things have been changing fast for me😘

      I totally hear you, Ginger! I feel the same way. I am so tired of chaos and overwhelm. I have also worked second shift for years. Recently, I have had the opportunity to flip that around. I have a day schedule here and there but find that the best "quiet time" or "me time" is at night when everyone else is asleep. So, I end up staying up late. I keep wanting to spend the "normal" hours with my husband and teenage son but it doesn't happen as often as I would like. I like being "solar powered" ;) but am still stuck in my evening schedule. Thank you for proving to me that there is hope yet. lol

    #BOL 1: overwhelm is unconscious strategy (I'm gonna share that one with my momma bc if I had a nickel for everytime I've heard her say....haha)
    #BOL 2: Rename time management tasks to what the outcome will be

    I needed to hear this!!! I know that I struggle so much with managing my time! I stay at home and love the idea of organization but can’t seem to find a system that works! I love the idea of time blocking... and what I needed to hear is that it takes the same amount of energy to be organized as to not! Thank you!

    BOL! Keeping my Why in focus wasn't a direct part of my time management process before, which felt robotic, soulless, and underwhelming. From now on, my tasks are named for their results, founded in my Why. Thank You so much for this video Lisa, it is well worth your time!♡

    Rename the task the outcome! Love that. I used to be so good at this. Somewhere along the line I gave away my power of controlling my own time in the name of serving others. I want to change that. I can and I will! Thanks for the reminder.

    MY GOD!!!!!!! I Thank the LORD for You! This morning in my quiet time with God, I reviews a lesson I’d started some time ago on leadership. In the lesson the question was asked, “what is it that you need to stop doing?” From my previous reflections, the #1 thing was time management or organization... I need to STOP letting myself off the hook from organizing my life, I told myself! From planning the night before to cleaning and everything in between... and the the next question was asked... who can help you? After thinking about the necessity in holding myself accountable, I immediately thought of you Lisa😀!!! I knew I needed an accountability partner who has been where I’ve been and is now where I want to be, one who see’s and wants to help me get to the other side! I’m a single Mom of one. My baby is now 13, but since before she arrived, I knew that following my dreams was not an option and that the world still needed what God gave me to give them! My BTOL moment, was when you said, you never name the task the thing that you were going to be doing... name it the outcome that you want to see... THANK YOU JESUS!!! I know this will make all the difference in getting past creating the plan (this is where I had been getting stuck) and actually working the plan! I’m a creative as well and this too made me say THANK YOU LORD, to hear you say this about yourself! It confirmed that I was in the right place & my answered prayer! I’m committed to understanding more about how I work as a creative so that I can embrace it but keep a handle on it and make it work for in my favor at the same time! I’m committed to time blocking and helping my daughter and myself get to that place of grace and ease. Thank you my Sister❤️

    Lisa Nicols I find you so inspiring mostly because of your story. I grew up in a poor neighborhood in Brooklyn N.Y. 1 of 6 children. I have always had poor self esteem growing up and I understand your struggle and admire how you clawed your way out of your environment yet never forgot where you came from.     I've been watching your videos EVERY morning for 3 months. It has been a revolution, helping me to transform myself, and uplevel my game to achieve my fullest, best purpose. In all areas of my life. Although my time management is pretty good, this episode gave me a great BOL moment, in your advice of writing the goal of daily tasks, instead of the action.       Hi Lisa, this show along with the show on procrastination was really a BOM for me. I realised I loved to create time pressure in my work an life an thought it made me perform better .Now I realise if I use time management an less procrastination my 7 will become 9 an i won't keep flying by the seat of my pants..well done Lisa for opening my eyes

    Yes 🙌🏾 I’m a CNA & going to school for nursing and a up and coming minister and I want to own a safe home for DV victims one day I’m a full time mommy of 3. I find myself pushing my goals back for others to achieve theirs and not finding time for me .. it’s so frustrating.. so I will be praying putting in my works & pushing replay

    Lisa! Thank you!! I’m a young person and myself and my peers support each other to grow what’s most important to us in a weekly “accountability” session. We’ve been doing this for a couple years. It’s very hard, but so worthwhile. Hearing that it took you 2 years from when you heard about time management to when you implemented a system - it gave me a comforting YANA! The process takes time. The need to put in space and “pad” the allotted time for tasks is something im learning too. I love the idea of calling the task what it’s really about for you like “setting my day up for success” I’ll add this in today! Your advice is so uplifting, so practical. I just love you, I’m so thankful for you. THANK YOU LISA

    Thank you for this video, I learned so much from it! My 3 biggest takeaways are to: 1. Pad my time so I am not always rushing from one task to the next. 2. To take time to “breathe.” 3. Name my time slot my desired outcome and not the task itself. I love “catchy” words and phrases so am already thinking of exciting and creative outcome names. I'm always procrastinating, well not always, I don't want to speak that into my life, but I was finding ways to avoid doing what I needed so my wants wouldn't feel neglected. I tricked myself into believing it was 'self-care' time, but this let me know I'm playing myself. Thank you for sharing your struggle, your sacrifice and finally your success!     I keep grasping the concept of time management and because of constant changes in my routine and pivots in my life, and the second i take my eyes of the routine i have created for myself to fix whats going on and then i lose track and not know where to start.

    Wow...am so blessed by this, thank you. This came at a right time. I have thought of being ao overwhelmed and stretched in different directions. This hit me as I spend just as mich time planning, over analyzing and in the end procrastinating. Never thought this structure would yield freedom. I will do it. Thank you!

    It seems so easy for you to connect with others.....it is because you speak from experience? The advice that you give is so easily relatable...just love the idea of not having tasks but outcomes. It made me considered how dreadful and mundane a task can be. However, when you look at it as an outcome, it changes the whole energy that you put into achieving that outcome. A task is something to achieve, whereas an outcome is working towards something. Love that revelation!!!

    I schedule my tomorrow today. But I guess the thing I've been missing out is giving me enough space to breathe. There are millions of things to do in a day and it becomes very easy for me to ignore my schedule when things arent sitting quiet right within my schedule. Excited to try this out and see how it works for me.

    This helped me SO MUCH!. I took notes. I’m a homeschool mom (3rd year) of 3 boys and I have 2 businesses. I felt so overwhelmed...doing the most and getting the least done. I’m creating my time management system today. I love the part about naming the task the outcome. Fave: getting my sexy back and setting the boys up for success.

    Hi Lisa, thank you for this awesome video. I know time management will help us in our day and I thought I had it under control as I have created a schedule of my day but I still feel overwhelmed, I still feel like I am being pulled in so many different directions and I know I am underproducing.
    My nugget from this talk is that I will rename my tasks as the outcomes instead of saying “actions to complete.”

    I appreciated learning to rename tasks. Doing so will connect me with my true passion and shift my drive from mundane "to do" lists resulting in unfinished business. I especially loved your suggestion tip rename tasks. For example, I'm no longer working out. I'm building the body that fits my destiny.     Lisa this is amazing, you are amazing. Naming the task as the outcome is really helpful. For example, when I meditate in the morning, I now call it, Awakening the peace, joy, happiness and awarenes within". This one of the many "aha" moments I discovered. Thank you also for sharing your love at the end, I really enjoy hearing you speak. You have such a relaxing and calm voice, it's really refreshing.     This is excellent! re-framing the task at hand makes such a difference on motivation. here are a couple of mine: Exercise has become "activate happy hormones" for my dance workout and "increase body strength" for my strength training. Taking my vitamins has now been upgraded to "take strength pills" since they are designed to make my body and mind stronger. I have a bad habit of skipping meals and am constantly exhausted so lunch has now become "boost energy levels". I am also using the welcome God in my routine instead of just "read bible". This technique is going to make my days 1000 times more productive !

    My aha was this video.
    Yesterday was the first time I just couldn’t write again my to do list, I’ve been doing it for over 10 years. Instead of that I wrote that I will live with love, kindness wnd grace and whatever I will accomplish today will be enough.
    Then I found this video and I guess changing the name of task with the outcome is what I needed and didn’t knew. I love you, thank you! 🙏🏻💖

    Wow! I love this. I also kept saying oh I am a creative, time management will add dread to my my day and make me robotic laugh😂, oh gosh. I get it now. I love the part of using blocks of time and writing an inspiring outcome not the task as well as padding in extra 15/30mins. It is realistic. I am drafting mine today. Thank you, Lisa.

    It was the suggestion of adding 15 minutes to my time blocks for me this allows me to not have to battle with anxiety as much on a daily basis and I will be using this to better harness my time management thank you so much !

    Hi Lisa. I started time manahement last year but i had my schedule chop chop and i wondered because i took no breathing time. It became chop chop so the point where my meditation time became alot for me. But now i can see where my mistake it was not taking breathing time.     Thank you for this video. There is an element of shame in having a tick box list as some people look down upon it as being obsessive. However, there are just so many distractions during the day that you are sure to get off the right track if you have no system.

    YANA !!! I do this and will continue doing it. I can always improve BOL++++++ and yes I'll add some 20 to 30 minutes to give myself more freedom. This is not only my tribe🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 This is my Family. I feel at Home here and The chemistry is 10000%. Every episode goes direct I my core and I go like wow!!!!!👏👏👏 did Lisa say that?!!!     Thanks, you really went a I've a d beyond explaining and taught me why time management isn't restricting and rather a fluid structure that allows you peace of mind rather than feeling overwhelmed (which unfortunately wastes energy )

    Thank you so much for sharing this, Lisa!! I have been struggling for so long. There are a few different moving parts. The bottom line is that I need to be able to find a 360 life. I agree about being creative and a dreamer. There are so many things that I NEED to do. There are as many or more that I WANT to do. I have not been able to find a way to reconcile the two together and make them work. You hit the nail on the head about being "boxed in" or what I call "time-framed." I hate that idea so much! Yet, I finally got time off and I have done nothing to the scale of what I would have wanted to have tackled. I need to get a handle on my life and stop wasting time! I cannot get it back. It will only continue to slip away from me. I want to start being able to live in the present and have consistency and dependability and to know that I can make it work for me. I need structure and routines. I can make lists like crazy. It is my follow-through that is busted. I can't seem to find the right motivation to make them stick. The cycle continues and I only grow more frustrated.
    I love the way that you pad your time blocks. I also love calling it the reward. I plan to try both of those things. I feel like I have so much potential for control right now but I am overwhelmed by it all and indecision causes it to blow through my hands. I need to "Breathe!" Thank you for all that you do. Thank you for being supportive of all of us. It is so hard to give yourself grace when you feel you shouldn't even need grace because you could have and should have done it already. I am thankful for "YANA". Many blessings to you and yours!!

    so thank you for being here from the depths of our hearts.
    My aha about time management is "it takes literally as much energy to remain and overwhelmed as it does to get organized and manage your time"
    I need time management to have more productive time in order to read more books , to see more interviews with successful people , to be a better person , to become a successful surgeon , to be my life worthwhile , to sees the world who really I am , to get my fingerprint , to feel my breath , to get my contribution , to feel me , to give my dream a chance.

    Thank you Lisa, I only realized this year that I'm actually not obtaining results, as much as I wake up early everyday and grinding.
    I read the Essentialism book and decided to remove tasks that are not essential. I've seen progress now, I'll use your strategy to plan my days.

Tme management has been heavy on my mind, but the task of figuring out the details superceded the things I need to do. #YANA- I thought of a list as boxing me in, this created a lot of anxiety. #AHA OMG labeling the outcomes sounds exciting. I absolutely resonate with how time mangement can reduce stress and actually make you live in flow with joy, happiness, fulfillment, and love. I am a mother of 2 children I remember thinking I have no time for anything else. But with discovering my life purpose..I was pushed to manage my time...and doing so got me to achieve and do so much more than I ever thought I could do being in the same environment, situation, and circumstances. My purpose pushed me to time management. And Time management gave me more time, more freedom, more joy and a life of abundance🙏🙌 I am so grateful to you Lisa for this reflection.     Hi Lisa, Thank you for this video. I have never allowed time for a breather in between tasks. I think that's where my problem lies. I have been figuring it out slowly for the past few days and this video just affirms that I need to.     Wow, thank you Lisa. This video changed my life. The part where you spoke about renaming the tasks with the outcome and intention is GOLD. Also allowing buffer time. I was trying blocking my time but it stressed me out even more because I wasn’t able to meet it, so I will do all of this starting Now. Thanks so much!
