Yep, times were different and unique. But things have to change for their safety for the better. However. That doesn’t take away the fact that the pit crews were brave back then
The Greatest Of All Time! That is what a short-track winning car is supposed to look like. Oh and by the way, how did Earnhardt win another race without wrecking someone? All the "experts" say he just wrecked the field to win.................
Why in the world did Dick Berggren ask him that question in victory lane? I don't remember exactly what happened with Richmond, but I think it was just regular hard Martinsville racing between them. Earnhardt was known for being evasive and looking away from the camera when he knew he had put someone in the wall, but that wasn't the case here. Always fun watching Earnhardt, Stewart, and a hand full of others react to dumb questions from reporters.
Ol Smiff. Thanks for always posting these ol classics
Diggin that 00 Morgan Shepherd ride.
THX for postin SMIFF
Harry is a class Act
Isn't it crazy how many fans were in the stands back when Nascar was a "regional sport"?
Thanks for posting this!!!
Look at that brave pit crew with NO safety gear on, oh the good ol`days

Maybe if Dale Earnhardt hadn't died at Daytona, many things would have remained the same...
@@andredesouza9270yeah then even more people wouldve died is that what you think is preferable?
These guys painted some pretty cars!
Yep i agree. Being a nascar model builder these are the best.

Man, G Bodine was always a front runner but never had that many career wins.
How do you find this. Thanks for sharing Smiff…mfn Smiff..lol. Did the call cup races “grand national” races back then or Busch? What is this
11:00 the camera man tricked BP lol
Ricky Rudd and Dale must have went to the same driving school. That can't race without hitting someone and cheating.
