From a diehard Dale Earnhardt fan.
Rusty Wallace was pretty badass. He has my respect.
Rusty Rose: taken from Sonic Prime
Rusty Wallace: wins rookie of the year for 1984
My parents asked for his autograph in the early 90's. He called my dad an a-hole and didn't give them one. Thats when I became a Rusty Wallace fan!
I figured he had a bad outing on the track or something 🤷♂️
@Mason George True Story. Just got out the car and my dad ran up and asked at the wrong time I guess 🤷♂️
He did the same thing when my dad ask for one
My driver!! Rusty driving ole midnight at Bristol were the best! The black deuce was the best livery in nascar.
I still have my Midnight Tshirt.
Rusty won at Michigan when I was there at my 1st cup race, that Genuine Draft car looked so cool in victory lane.
I know most viewers only want to watch racing but I personally would have included his speech at Daytona in 94. For me, that was the moment I became a fan of him as a driver and as a person.
Rusty Wallace is my favorite driver!I grew up watching him! My wife gave me the best Christmas gift ever! I am going to Nashville to the Rusty Wallace racing experience! I cannot wait till April and I promise I will do my hero Rusty proud!!!! I just hope I will get the #2 MGD car!!!
That’s awesome dude
Rusty was my favorite growing up as well. I hope you can get the car! I have a ton of the 1:64 scale die cast Rusty Cars. Always made me mad how you couldn’t buy the MGD or Miller Lite cars unless you bought the collectibles. Which meant basically buying them at specialty shops haha.
How did the experience go? Did you get the #2?
I miss seeing Rusty Wallace race
Started pulling for Rusty in ‘93 when I saw him win the pole at Atlanta because I thought he had the coolest looking car. NASCAR has never been the same for me since and all the other veterans retired. Miss those days.
I miss Rusty Wallace on the race track
Ine of the biggest bar fights I ever got in was with some Rusty fans, good times.
hahahah
Nice chrome wheels! Great pilot!!! Always pick him up in any Nascar game ✌️
This is Nascar... Do you things they are worried about money? Haha
89' Cup Champion!!! My hero to this day!!!!
Rusty Wallace ❤🎉 #1
definitely a legend in racing what a personality...
I was a big Rusty Wallace fan,and watched several of his Bristol wins from the stands. His last win was memorable because I was in the hospital recovering from a gunshot wound in April of 2004 and watched it from my hospital bed.He was a great short track driver in particular, and was a threat to win every time he raced at Bristol and Martinsville especially.
Rusty is a badasssssss!
This was pretty good. I didn't become a NASCAR fanatic until Rusty's career was winding down.
I still watch nascar but no driver to this day gets my support the way I supported Rusty! My all time fav racer!
Rusty was the best driver EVER. When he retired I stopped watching NASCAR. That is a TRUE Fan. We all luv ya Rusty !
Its like you guys read my mind, ive been loking for a good best of rusty and youve made it
You guys forgot he won the inaugural race at New Hampshire in 93.
Also the 1st Japan race
And the first to put a Taurus in victory lane
You'll never see the leader pit on last lap and still win the race but that was pretty damn cool to see that
There was no pit road speed here
@@DrewMongo Yeah, that's scary by today's standards. The mechanics were really bad ass!
Mark Martin would read this and laugh at himself for the 1000th time...
@@BillHFA They sure were sir
Ayrton Senna, Rusty Wallace and Ingo Hoffmann (Brazilian stock car champion, with F1 experience) are my favorite drivers. Thanks for the video.
That’s when nascar was real
As a kid, even in his later years in the 2000s, Rusty was my first many favorites. Great respect for the legends of his era, including Earnhardt, Elliott, Texas Terry.
I miss Rusty and all those guys of that era. That was true racing with true long time, heated rivalries.
Rusty wallace was an amazing nascar driver change my mind
Why would I try to change your mind he was but my favorite was even better- Dale Earnhardt
@@rcracer8872 true
@@user-rl7cw9eg8e He sucks him off in his casket. Its embarrassing.
@@rcracer8872 Yep
Hey this is Rusty Wallace from ESPN’s NASCAR Now.
and?
Rusty Wallace The Legendary Icon 🏎️🏁🚦
I'm close to Rusty's age, remember him racing at the Milwaukee mile in the ASA series, been a fan ever since
My dad was a huge Rusty Wallace fan… RIP Pops
Will forever be my favorite driver. Still root for the #2 car and Brad Keselowski.
I was a rusty fan until his retirement, then Kirt got in his car and I've been A KIRT Fan since.
@@davenickel2448 then you should know how to spell his name.
@@Sceneyour U NOT I I KNOW ! GET A LIFE MR. PHIL
@@Sceneyour krut?
I've never forgotten Rusty saying "We had a good hotrod tonight" at Bristol. Yep, just racin' by god American hotrods. If the rest of the world doesn't get it, that's their loss. I saw someone wearing a Rusty Wallace t-shirt at my St. Louis area high school in 1979, when he was a young short track star. Maybe ASA. Just to be precise, Rusty is from Fenton, Missouri.
Best RW performance was at matinsville. 3 laps down made up 2 by passing everyone till he spun out
The 90’s were the peak golden years for NASCAR in my op, this was a great nostalgic trip down memory lane to see all those bright beautiful liveries again!
Rusty won more races in the pontiac years than most drivers do in a career. Underrated legend of Nascar.
Finally my g gets a video
Dale's Buddy
Here we go I love these!!
That Miller Genuine Draft Pontiac in 1993 was a MONSTER.
i can't believe that he is champ
Sure miss this Wheelman. And my hero.
He’s just a classy man.
I forgot how good of a road racer he was
Wow! Love it
Good job 👏🏾
One of the last class a drivers When nascar was nascar
Short track champ
Rusty was a clean race car driver, never would disrespect our driver, in wrecking them, unless you got under his skin.
The world needs a hero rubber head. Your up
The genuine draft Pontiac was the best looking car for sure. Rusty deserved more championship’s just a shame Dale was always there to mess things up.
he would've won in 93 if not for that accident at Talladega that broke his wrist, it took him over a month to fully recover from it
@@sevendst19 Although we'll never know for sure,it looks like Earnhardt put the bumper to him on purpose and caused a hellacious wreck.Who knows how many races Rusty would've won in 93 if not for his wrist injury,he would've ram away with the points title in my opinion.
@@davidh6818 I was very young and thought for sure it was on purpose as well when I watched it live, maybe he didn't know the car would flip wildly like that but for sure he put the bumper to him to get him out of the way, just like he had done to other drivers on several other occasions before and after this incident
10 wins in 1993 was pretty damn impressive.
what a gamer
Rusty Wallace. 253 stage wins. 176 playoff wins. 25 time chase champion. 365 random draw pole winner. Cousin to Ben Wallace. Father to Christopher Wallace. Sponsored by a bear and then Mac Miller. He might be the greatest Canadian ever. All Hail Steven Wallace
He has won them all!
Of all the races Ive attended in my life and all the races Rusty won... I only saw him win once in person, the 1994 Spitfire Spark Plug 500 at Dover.
I never got to see him win, but the last 3 Daytona races I attended his finishes were 3rd, 2nd, and 5th. I was also at the 93 500 and he had a good car until he flipped in that big wreck late in the race. He finished 12th the first time I went to Daytona in 1991
I stopped watching NASCAR when Rusty retired. I did not need to ever root for any other driver.
I miss Miller Genuine Draft. That was a good beer.
Rusty was my guy! Penske fan forever! (even though they forced my guy to retire)
Rusty Wallace was my guy and that was classic Rusty on the opening video vs Geoff bodine. You not going to bump Rusty out of the way and not expect retaliation.
And that's the type of mentality that I have. You ain't supposed to let somebody get over on you.
Rusty looked best sitting behind the wheel of the Blue Oval Fords
Ohhh how I miss old Atlanta
I do too, just a 1.5 mile oval, no cookie cutter dog leg
Alan Cavanna has entered the chat
Rusty was and is my favorite diver....aka rubber head
I just hope he is there to see it!!
When Rusty won the 89 title, Dale's crew had the most dejected look of a race winner ever.
please do Terry Labonte next
Z zesty was my favorite drivers
HOW DARE YOU FORGET HIS WIN AT SUZUKA IN 1996.
Mgd baby
I didnt know he was number 27
I miss Pontiac and Rusty
Rusty Wallace has a holiday 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏October 1st 2021 GAS prices are 22 cents per gallon amen 10/1/21
😂❤😂❤😂❤,thanks cspd NASCAR, FBI COMMANDER ROLL,from John Robert Bruffett Junior 🇺🇸 🌎 🇺🇲
Funny I was just hanging thousand of dollars of memberbi in my garage last night. He was nascar in my eyes.
Is it me or is the order of races all over the place?
The golden age of that sport. Once the sport went soft, it was all down hill.

Evidence that Missouri is southern ;)
I'm not sure if I would of put the 89 all star as great moment that win didn't go well with the fans back then
