On big bikes I’ll go on a 4 hour ride and not care where I go but a small bike I’ll go on a 40 minute ride and have a great time getting there I love them both tho
And it was a hell of a trip in the summer i enjoy traveling although i'm a speed fan but still going in a road trip means having a bike that wouldn't struggle along the way
You can remove the seat, take it to an upholstery shop and they can remove the cover , replace the crap foam with high density foam and recover the seat for around $125-$190.00 . High density memory foam is the way to go with any motorcycle seat .
@5:18 as someone who currently lives in FL i can appreciate the scenery. Looks so much fun to ride through. Im scheduled to get my endorsement this weekend and already put a deposit on a brand new white 18'. I am beyond stoked to explore EVERYWHERE. Love the vids wish youd make more grom stuff like this!
Man this gives me some flashbacks... I was stationed in Mountain Home AFB last year and would ride the loop on my BMW f800gs with my buddies all the time, epic camping out there.. Enjoy it bro!
@@blixxy1320 that is true but gopros have fisheye lense which make everything look small lmao. Only reason I haven’t bought one is because they make everything look less eventful IMO.
As a matter of fact you’re right , groms are remarkably bigger in real life , I mean sitting on one of them if you’re not that big of a guy is pretty decent , I’m 6’0 and 64kg the bike feels and looks decent on me being on it
Next group ride u should do a walk around of your buddies Groms. I saw some that looked dope! I love how u can personalize them and really make them your own. I loved that dark green one but that black and red one was bad ass with that custom seat...Crazy ride tho, 160 miles!🤯
“Well this is Emmett. So...that’s pretty much uhhh all there is to say about that.” Lol. True. I live in meridian and I’m seriously considering upgrading from my Ruckus to a Grom. 🧐
I grew up in East Tennessee so when i read in the description that you were taking them to the "smoky mountain twisties" i was thinking the great smoky mountains national park in gatlinburg tennessee hahaha fun video either way!
You make a nice vid. Really enjoyed it. I live on the coast so mountains are about 2 hours away. Have to ride mostly on flat land but the Grom makes it fun.
What people don’t understand is that supermotos and groms kill it at the dragon. It’s switchbacks, sport bikes barely get out of 2nd if that. Plus by that time, you’re speeding and ol state trooper will get you. I miss my hometown and being able to go to the dragon whenever
been monging it on grom vids the last few days and yours is the best so far, no talking like a rapper/gangster bell end, or with stupid sayings/voices etc, music's not too overbearing (could be less of it n more of the engine exhaust sounds)..... you not allowed to filter/overtake stationary traffic? that sucks arse .crackin looking ride out though.....👍
I’m about to buy a new grom, my first bike - thought I have ridden 110cc motorcycles throughout asia. Do you think abs is needed for this kind of riding on Groms?
I work for the usfs and was thinking of getting a grom before this fire seaosn to cruise on mountain roads in my freetime, this sold me. was looking at bore kits though, any input?
any information on year round riding in Boise Idaho areas ? (or at least amount of sunny weather riding ? ) I'm starting to get tired of all the rainy and cold/cloudy days here in the PNW. looking to Move out there if I can plan for it ...
Philadelphia Grom Squad you are! I was hitting about 60+ in some of the twisties and 72 for a split second on a straight. Pretty sure the wind was in my favor though

Bro looking to ride roughly 500 miles each way on a trip. Any advice? Think it's gonna screw anything up? I'll probably take a break every 2 hours or so.
I would like some input on what kind of helmet people would recommend for my wife and I to be able to communicate as we are on our individual bikes. Of most importance is the safety value and the voice clarity Thank you for any input
You can add a cardo or Sena(paid reviews) to any helmet about 520$ for 2 units if you ride in groups or about 300 a set of you just want to talk to each other. Look at the cardo packtalk slim! -Keep the rubber side down
I like how 125 riders seem to appreciate the destination so much more than bigger bikes and vehicles
I agree! Not always about the power

I think ya miss more on The bigger bikes because your always moving twice the speed and have to pay way more attention
Beautiful bikes and gorgeous roads this is what life is all about. I got my CBT in 2 weeks, Grom is my dream first bike

Anthony does the grom have a built in quick shifter ?
