Thanks Eric! Songs bring back memories…this was my wedding song. My husband picked it out and surprised me with it for our first dance. Today is my 26th wedding anniversary. Tom passed 2 years ago, I hear this song and remember that dance and feel him holding me and feel his touch…if I could change the world 💔❤️❤️ 5-1-1998
60 years since I saw Erik at the marquee club front and center during the all the 5 Live Yardbird recordings. He's been the soundtrack of my life ever since. And "Here 'Tis" - such a perfect piece. All I can say is thank you, Erik

I like how they stay connected by using the same metronome. It's as if their feet were in sync with one another. This is of course on top of the fact of how perfectly this song was performed. Absolutely fantastic!
The mighty Clapton, totally cool and in control, full of subtle nuances and integral expression, technically perfect yet executing his music straight from the heart, a consummate virtuoso. From warm soul to gutsy blues through smooth lyricism, his world class voice rides the gently epic dynamic development of this dignified song, while his outstandingly complete playing combines strums, leads, pickings, slides, crescendos, and all manner of guitar articulations into an understated artistic extravaganza of florid fantasy. His band are similarly excellent, equalling his mastery with their tasteful and harmonious backing.
+Jathon Delsy hey everyone is alowed to say what they think right ;) for me this is a group of amazing group of musicians not only making music, but feeling it to the very last note all trough their body. as a guitarist i can say that you can have all the experience and techniques you want (and mr. clapton most certainly has that there's no arguing that) but a song does not sound like the song in this video unless you play right from the bottom of your heart and put all the emotion you got into it. look at their body and facial expression when they play this song. having so much fun and putting so much emotion into this piece of amazing music while still hitting every note flawlessly is just an art on its own

We cannot APPRECIATE ENOUGH how much Positive Influence and Inspiration ERIC CLAPTON's actions have Achieved!!! Thank You ERIC for your CROSSROADS' work and LEADERSHIP!!!!
Clapton is such a huge talent with so much diversity in his music. From soft acoustic ballads to hard electric rock, his talent is truly amazing. When he leaves this world his circle of influence will be sorely missed. I hate to even think of this world without his music. He has been such an amazing musician for so long. God Bless Eric Clapton. I can’t even remember when Eric’s music was not an influence in my life, back when he was with the YARDBIRDS, CREAM, BLIND FAITH, DEREK & the DOMINOES, etc. and countless musicians He has played with and influenced and created great music with. He truly has been a gift from God to all the world. Yet his humility is what astounds me. You don’t normally see world class musicians with such humility. He knows the fretboard so well he rarely even needs to look at it. His life has been able to “CHANGE THE WORLD” for the better. Thanks Eric, you are greatly loved and appreciated.
The best comment of all right here & no one noticed...but I did & ty. I grew up with Clapton's 60's & 70's . He's awesome playing alone ...as with BB King or Santana or any band. I listened & really " dug his tunes, man" but never realised what an extraordinary & humble guy he is....the great Clapton
It often comes to mind whenever I watch his video like this one (great performance indeed). What if he suddenly dies...that would absolutely devastate a lot of music lovers. We love you Eric ❤️❤️❤️
This song marked my life. When I walked down the aisle to receive my doctorate degree at Columbia U. there was a brass band playing your (this) beautiful, meaningful song. I still listen to this song when I need to go back to my "why" as a professor. I also heard your wonderful performance in NYC two years ago that I had the privilege to attend. Thank you for your incredible talent and soulfulness.
Legend brother man LEDGEND💚 and we got to see him live in are life times. I found Eric at the swimming pool the summer of 1982 Some older kids had one of the giant radios from the 80’s and the lifeguards let them play the radio after he told what station to play. Classic Rock Bar Room Blues Music…I learned a lot that summer hahahahaha ✌️StaySafe and 🔥me☝️
I've lived a long time and heard a lot of music but this might be the finest performance I've ever seen. The music is perfect and the musicians are just feeling and creating such joy with their music. You can't help but pat your foot along with them. Every one of these guys is extremely talented and obviously loves what they do. What a pleasure!

Absolutely one of my all time favorite songs ever!!! And to watch it live was incredible. Every musician was in sync even down to the three guitarists foot movements!! Eric Clapton shines here!! 🎉
Also I loved that Eric Clapton features other famous musicians like Billy Preston. That’s what made this tour and songs so unique cause you not only got his band mates, but then you got Billy Preston laying it down on that Hammond Electronic Organ during Eric’s songs and then Eric let’s Billy have his spotlight by singing Will it go Around in Circles and killing his on song on the electronic organ while Eric just plays his guitar like a gentleman and than tells the audience who the organist is that played and sang Will it go Around in Circles. Now that’s one fine gentleman guitarist right there who knows how to step back when he features a guest musician and let the guest musician have the spotlight. Eric Clapton will forever go down in history as a legend of rock n roll blues slowhand and he’ll definitely remain in my nostalgia files where I keep old stuff cause I’m the only 27 yr old in 2023 born in 1996 that likes oldies nostalgia before the world got rid of and tries to get rid of the good ole days
If you have never seen Eric Clapton and Nathan East live, you have missed one heck of a show!!! They just keep jamming ang playing! We danced thru the whole concert!
As a kid I remember hearing this guitar chord progression back in the mid to late 90s. As I grew older I would occasionally hear it. Sometimes in my head or when I was messing with a guitar. I didn’t know where it came from. When I started learning guitar, I learned how the progression worked. Fast forward 20+ years, present day, I was driving to my girlfriends house. I decided to play a recommended classic rock station on Apple Music. Surely enough, this song started playing. Such a euphoric experience. I recognized the tune immediately ✨

First time I saw Eric Clapton was at the Broome County Arena in 1977! After seeing him live it was over for me! I’ve been a fan ever since! So many hits, so much talent and what I love most is Clapton and friends shows! He acts like every person he shares the stage with is a superstar and he’s just there as backup! That should show everyone what a genuine and humble person he is! And in my 59 years I don’t remember any time that Clapton wasn’t coming up with another hit! What a genius!
Notice how the drive builds up through Steve Gadd's snare and Nathan East's bass from intro to 2nd verse... Listen to that irresistible groove in one of my all time favorites... awesome ❣
He's a true musician and true talent, unlike many of so-called "artists/ musicians" we hear about today who probably can't even play a single instrument or can really sing live and sound sublime as Clapton.
On Eric Clapton’s worst day. At the age of 70 + he is still 1000 times better than anything on the air waves today. Love ya Mr. Clapton as do most my age.

Wow…the band but the Bass!!! That’s absolutely incredible. How good is this version??. I know the song but haven’t heard it played like this. Perfection. I’m speechless. Had to listen over and over.
Being a bass player I really felt Nathan's riff at 3:30 was perfectly timed and soooooo tasty. Well done, good sir. Keeping it real on the lower register.
Love how that left leg get going. The joy of music bursting out all over. Looks like it could dance him right off the chair. Such enthusiasm and major talent!
What a wonderful ARTIST. Eric is a real living legend. He is not "only" a legendary guitarist but also a wonderful singer. Great and awesome vocal performance with harmony, vocal control, soul and blues melodicism. God bless you mister slowhand!!!
When a live performance sounds better than the original song. That’s when you know there is special talent.
except for the jackass for the first minute of the song whistling loudly. Soft music should be listened to not screamed or whistled over .
ikr, holy ish!

Eric Clapton on Guitar and Vocals, Nathan East on Bass, Billy Preston on Organ and Steve Gadd on percussion. It just doesn't get any better.......

Eric I’m doing well, I think you’re a great talent and I wish you the best!
Oh come on....
This is absolutely incredible playing/performance
20살 대학시절 버스에서 무지 즐겨듣던 노래라 좋습니다~ 한결같은 음감 에릭영감님~^^
The bass is the best. He always was
You got that right!

Nathan bEast on bass!!
Jack Bruce and Carle radle were pretty awesome as well.
@@ninjavigilante5311 I believe the guy on keyboards is the same guy that was on Sting’s home (the castle) recording . Awesome touch.
EC is so clean and flawless I think he’s never hit a bum note in playing or singing once in his life.
You have changed the world Eric Clapton

When I listen to this song,I can imagine that the world will change.
Eric just Did Change the World with this song ❤
Notice how the drive builds up through Steve Gadd's snare and Nathan East's bass from intro to 2nd verse... Listen to that irresistible groove in one of my all time favorites... awesome ❣
Steve Gadd on drums and Nathan East on Bass. What a rhythm section!
It doesn’t get any better than this and you know it
He's a true musician and true talent, unlike many of so-called "artists/ musicians" we hear about today who probably can't even play a single instrument or can really sing live and sound sublime as Clapton.
Very true!
Still one of my favorite performances of his.
The best concert ever was seeing Clapton in Knoxville. Tn. He just kept playing and playing!!!!!!!
On Eric Clapton’s worst day. At the age of 70 + he is still 1000 times better than anything on the air waves today. Love ya Mr. Clapton as do most my age.
Most Certainly!!!
I've been in love with him and his music since I was 19. I'm almost 23 now and I don't think I'll ever have enough of him.
Love how this version lets Nathan East (one of the members of Fourplay) show off his jazz chops on bass.
Love love Eric Claptop!! Never paid attention to the lyrics before today:not only is he a great blues guitarist but a poet as well!!
Oops!! Clapton!!
Thank you Mr. Clapton ! Both guitars and acoustic bass were awesome !
This is the best version I've heard. You can tell EC is really enjoying playing.

This is Clapton's best band in the last 25 years. Period.
Is that Andy Fairweather Lowe too. Fabulous band.
Every person on that stage earned it. Sounds so good.
Happy Birthday , Eric, 🎸
Happy Easter , 🎸.
Have a Nice Week-End 🎸 !
Wow…the band but the Bass!!! That’s absolutely incredible. How good is this version??. I know the song but haven’t heard it played like this. Perfection. I’m speechless. Had to listen over and over.
Absolute one his best...Congratulations Eric on your Birthday!
Being a bass player I really felt Nathan's riff at 3:30 was perfectly timed and soooooo tasty. Well done, good sir. Keeping it real on the lower register.
It is great
Something a bass player waits for.

Love how that left leg get going. The joy of music bursting out all over. Looks like it could dance him right off the chair. Such enthusiasm and major talent!
I'll never get tired of watching this blessed man singing this song. Also my favorite tempo/version of the song...
What a wonderful ARTIST. Eric is a real living legend. He is not "only" a legendary guitarist but also a wonderful singer. Great and awesome vocal performance with harmony, vocal control, soul and blues melodicism. God bless you mister slowhand!!!
Thank you Eric!!!! I grew up listening to all your music takes me back to the 70s my teenage years 😂😂😂❤! God bless you
I wish I could see you live ONG ❤
Eric can play more than just lightening solo's !! Such a fine band here.
Up until 1:42 is the most artistic, well-balanced intro being played live. Really flies me to the moon, even after listening to it a thousand times...
2:38 That piano guy finger snapping when the drummer beats.. man that was flawless
Billy Preston!
That piano guy,,,LMFAO, how fucking ignorant can you get?
Clive Bindley why ignorant?
Google the word.
That's David Sancious
You’ve written some amazing music Mr Clapton. I thank god you changed our world after all you’ve been through. You’re a true blessing.
