I'm from fuzhou, fujian province, China.I've been there. I stayed there for a few days. There was a place ，there were lots of little sharks. You can swim with small sharks. This travelog is more for the foreigners budget ..quite pricey ..for the locals there are other options ..but must rajin to mingle around & discover by yourself..but hotels in langkawi are getting truly expensive ..rm 100+ only get motel or inn...most star hotels price 600- 5k a night..walawei.. 😂

You can try airbnb and have a whole house for yourself at affordable price which we've did during our stay in Langkawi.
Agree that Langkawi isn't cheap even for foreigner. Sometimes the hotel offers best deal compare to OTA. Just need to research more I guess.
