  • I play the Srixon Z Star XV golf ball. The magnus effect in golf shows how a golf ball's spin effects its trajectory. If you want consistent golf shots you need to have consistent trajectory. For consistent trajectory you need to have consistent spin. That's why you need to play the sam type of ball each time you play golf.

    Going to get a ball fitting this winter. I have learned to feel and see the difference. Prov spins to much for me and I lose distance. Callaway supersofts spin less and fly straighter for me. The Taylor made tpx5 tend to go straighter to.

    Hi Sam that's good info. Does the same thing therefore apply to balls with a Matte finish? More drag so more curve?

    I find that your videos have a lot of talking and no action. I find that an image is easier to understand that only words
