So nice to see your rig on the channel. I met you when you were parked next to Ruth with she and her hubby’s ambulance at the 2024 RTR. Lost all my contacts when my phone was stolen. Glad to see you guys doing well! Thanks for serving.
Thank you for your service. I'm also an Army vet. Love your rig. I'm not a full time RVer, just a traveler. Wife is not that into RV living, so I travel alone for 1-2 weeks at a time.
A lot of people think an ambulance should be gutted and totally rebuilt inside to be livable but they’ve made theirs quite livable without doing all that.
Good for her she gave up the horse ranch for her husband. That really means a lot because the horse people I know care about their horses more than their people family.
@@rockingrvadventuresHi! I’m currently looking at a mobile living situation. I love that you added a wet bath! How much did you pay for your ambulance and can you suggest where I would look for one for sale? Thanks for your help!
That is a fine conversion! Can you imagine how much an apartment of the same size in New York City would cost you on a monthly basis?!?! And people actually pay it!?!?!
Awesome rig! I could totally live happily in this as a solo traveler. I especially love that they kept a few pops of the original red paint throughout the ambo! 😊
Beautiful set-up. Every rig is unique. This one is beautiful and practical. Bob says he likes ambulances but he also said they're too expensive because they are diesel and have constant sensor problems costing thousands of dollars to repair so he got rid of his ambulance. At 6:00 you can see her gypsy husband through the window 😂
Good observation.. What I have noticed is that Americans in General, follow a Consumerist ideology unless there is a specific event in their lives that clarifies what is really important for them.. and once that happens, STUFF! becomes just “stuff” that you need to clean, store and justify. Which is not a cheap or efficient way to live.. it is liberating for many to just live with less.
I saw an iceco lol I’ve got one too it’s the big one the vl-65 at my off grid cabin I love it doesn’t use but 56 watts when starting up I put a frozen 2 liter bottle of water in it before I plug it into my 2000 watt solar generator when it gets to temperature it only uses 37 watts of power to maintain 😀👍
That is a really nice rig and if you're still watching the comments, I'm sorry you lost your Fur, baby. I lost my service dog a year ago February. So this February it will be 2 years.
I'm in the midst of converting my ambulance and I am always curious to see how folks run their wiring and plumbing when they don't demo the inside. I love to see more on that.
Wow, I would love this for two, but for one I will stick to the passenger vehicle platforms. I do still have my Classic, ie old, class B. It will be fun to follow this couple's journey to see were they alternately get a homebase... Thank you for touring this rig. Blessings.
Great video. Really nice lady. I love what they have done to the ambulance. I hope for myself to get an ambulance someday. I think they make great RVs. I love all the storage. Right now I live in an old 1999 Ford E350 van that I built out myself.
We have 4 large 4 gallons water containers which we can fill at primo filling stations which can be found at Walgreens and sometimes at CVS. Also, free standing water dispensers. We use rest area dump stations or campgrounds occasionally for charging everything back up.
@rockingrvadventures do Walgreens charge you for water and do you need ask them? I just love the idea btw of saving money instead of renting a apartment.
Thank you Bob for having us on your channel. The video was amazing. Merry Christmas.

What a nice lady! She radiates happiness.
Thank you so much. ❤️
She’s my best friends mom. She’s a wonderful human being.
❤❤
Is she retired Army? She seems super nice ❤

Thank you for your service. Maybe in time, she will take some small trips with you. 🙏
A lot of people think an ambulance should be gutted and totally rebuilt inside to be livable but they’ve made theirs quite livable without doing all that.
The cabinets are so ruggedly built so we opted to do a minimum build.
Thank you Ma'am for your service!! Very nice rig!!
Thank you so much
"Gen 12:1" on your rig. Love it!
Lovely woman, great home!
Thank you so much for the kind words. Merry Christmas.
Good for her she gave up the horse ranch for her husband. That really means a lot because the horse people I know care about their horses more than their people family.
It was difficult to leave my ranching lifestyle and my horses and animal rescue. On the flip side, so many new friends and adventures. ❤️
Yes, that was really great to hear her say.. because my experience with Horse/ Dressage people has been the same as yours.
Very cool lady! Personally I love traveling but not giving up my horse or dogs.

Same here, I couldn't imagine giving up my animals.
What a beautiful build. May the good Lord watch over you and your family and friends. Peace and Love 😊. Safe travels.
Thank you so much for the kind words. God bless y'all.

“Come and See!” The Chosen ❤❤❤
Wow great looking Rig 👍👍
WOW! The inside looks great. You definitely have alot of storage. When I retire at 65 that is my dream to have a van, live in it and travel.
That is the best layout Ambo I have seen. It gave me some ideas for my next build.
God bless this woman we lost and her husband. The way she glorifies our Father on her vehicle….
We lost?
Yes indeed
?? She just made a comment on here 9 days ago
Smart, well built, well laid out and just plain neat to see. Thanks for sharing. House less though not home less.
Cool lady and very cool home| thanks for the tour!
Nice ambulance conversion! Thank y'all for sharing 👍 Merry Christmas 🎄🙏🐕🦺🇺🇲
Merry Christmas to you as well.
Her set up is nice. I really like her Bluetti and briefcase panels
Wow, you've got everything you need. Quite the build.
Excellent Setup 🎉 true about Big Rigs.. they are harder to get around.
wow..freedom with a homey feel..

People have such little amount of things its mind blowing. Thanks for showing this.

Great build.ireally like the ambulance for a good size. Safe travels
They have everything in there! Very nice. This must have been done when Bob still liked his ambulance.
Placement of necessities is excellent. Great rig! Thanks for sharing.
One of the best builds I have seen. Really happy for her and her husband.
Thanks so much.
Very well organized....Thank you for the video and sharing...Blessings to you..
Love The Chosen nod. Come And See
A very nice setup. Love the amount of storage.

And btw one hell of a nice rig mam!
That is a really nice rig and if you're still watching the comments, I'm sorry you lost your Fur, baby. I lost my service dog a year ago February. So this February it will be 2 years.
It's heartbreaking. I lost my horse on November 18th and our rescue schnauzer Sam on the 19th so we are still struggling over their loss. 😢
Great setup !!! Very practical !!! Gives me the urge to go on the road and see America!!
Nice Build.
I like the Genesis 12:1 verse good one.
That is awesome! I would happily live in that! Just blacking out the glass is brilliant!
I'm in the midst of converting my ambulance and I am always curious to see how folks run their wiring and plumbing when they don't demo the inside. I love to see more on that.
Fantastic job. I not only love the storage and organization, I love that you can stand up and walk normally in it.
Merry christmas to Bob Wells and all the CheapRV living friends

This is probably the best build I've seen yet! Great job!
Thank you so much.
Super little comfy place , 😀

A ambulance is my dream build!
Merry Christmas Bob & Cody. See you at RTR 😊🎅🏼🎄🐕🐾
The Brakes on Ambulances are expensive & worth it. Special compounds in the Pads & Rotors for high speed braking
doors got a good quality sound to them
Love what she’s done with the place! 💙 Gonna follow her.
Thank you so much.
Very well done
Cool rig!!
Beautiful done. Ambulances seem to be very robust, and they have nice height and straight sides... and it's just the right size. Happy travels.
nice
Love it 😍
Great video. Really nice lady. I love what they have done to the ambulance. I hope for myself to get an ambulance someday. I think they make great RVs. I love all the storage. Right now I live in an old 1999 Ford E350 van that I built out myself.

Nice😊
I have a 2000 e350 TD ambulance rv. A little different on the inside & out.
Nice rig but I still love my 2015 GMC Savanna more😊
Where is part 2 with Bob and Subaru. Camper pull along😊?
I been wondering the same thing. So many people had an opinion. I don’t care. Whatever makes him happy. But I wanted to see
Wondering the same thing. Looking forward to see what he bought for a pull behind trailer
Where you find water at for showers and wash dishes and toilet and to dump the tanks beside going to the campground?
We have 4 large 4 gallons water containers which we can fill at primo filling stations which can be found at Walgreens and sometimes at CVS. Also, free standing water dispensers. We use rest area dump stations or campgrounds occasionally for charging everything back up.

Merry Christmas and Happy New year 🎄🎄🎄🎁🎁
Hi Bob!
Impressive
Loved this video-they've ❤️ got it figured out 😉
Wow!
Hello from Puerto Rico Bob and friends
Where did you find your futon? Nice job!
Amazon. We upgraded the mattress to a memory foam that came in a box. Super comfy.
Sweet!
An ambulance would be nice for the increased width and headroom.
You can use your car for a generator. All you need is booster cables.
How much propane does that water tank use for a shower? I was just given one and am curious if I can logically use the green canisters
Very little propane is used and you can get by with the 1 pound bottles.
One of the best laid out I have seen.
