After years of watching your channel I'm proud to say I've finally taken the leap of faith. I'm full time in my van and it's been 10 amazing months !!! If you're considering the van life JUST DO IT!!!!
It’s because it takes special kinds of people to live in 50sqft for extended periods of time. They’re rare and when they find each other, it’s a truly special thing.😊😊✌🏼
Like Steve Wallis and Foresty Forest, these two are epic Canadians we are proud to call Ours! Alex's writing style and voice-overs are top tier. Meg's cooking looks magical. Visually, their journeys evoke wanderlust - armchair or otherwise. Thanks, Bob, for showcasing such great people. ✌
@@SlowRoamers Agree. Will be following your channel. You, Foresty Forest (Simon) and Steve (technically Steve Wallis is a stealth camper but well worth following) are the real deals. Only three I follow or will follow. Many other van lifers have gone all Hollywood, and I find are no longer relatable.
Your videos always amaze me with their professionalism and depth of treatment of the topic. Thank you for your dedication and passion for creativity!🥞🚴🦏
If RUclips and van life was around when I grew up, I would have been all over it. I had a 1965 econoline van that I fixed up like the typical 70’s, but no sink, toilet, etc, just an ice box. I took a 4 month road trip 9,000 miles across the country in a 63 comet station wagon, what an adventure that was. I also worked and lived in a campground, cape Hatteras KOA, summer of 1979. A tent for my tiny refrigerator and foot locker of clothes. No AC, but a box fan sitting on the engine compartment. It wasn’t as organized as today, but we also had almost no money. My van had 122,000 miles, dented, worn out clutch, but for $200.00 I was happy as a lark, lol. It’s amazing that when I had nothing money wise, I was strong and healthy, so very happy. I love these builds.
The old saying , you don't know if you are compatible with someone until you travel with them. Thanks for the info about what makes you happy ,Take care and many adventures to you
Thank you for sharing! I love how tech savy all the details given were. Plus, so laid back & chill. Simple enough but modern enough to travel in a van.
Just when I thought I’ve seen the best van conversion ever made then this one is definitely right up at the top of my favorite build out. Feels like home with the cozy wood burning stove I have to see the oven for baking. Very unique design inside and out 👍
Great video Bob! @SlowRoamers, Alex, well planned and well executed! Impressive work! Thanks for sharing! Meg is impressive too! She is such a beautiful and free spirit! You two are great together!
I always enjoy watching Bob's interviews with folks and touring their van/home builds. This is another great build. I love the colors of the van; It's really nice. The interior is quite homey as well. Their van is filled with safety and practical features too. Good luck to this couple as you live out your dreams of adventures... and travel well ...and travel safe!
Wonderful video. Great explainer. Happy travels to the SlowRoamers. Lovely couple. Thank you, Bob, for all this content. I live my life vicariously through CheapRVLiving. 🙂
beautiful van, lovely couple! Best of luck on the PanAmericana - that is really cool! Is amazing that you are able to go on such an adventure. Best of luck and lots of beautiful experiences I wish for you both. Thanks for sharing, Meg & Alex and Bob!
There’s something to be said for only working enough to meet your needs, as opposed to working and working to accumulate more and more stuff which only becomes an anchor.
Yesss been looking forward to this interview! Nice to see the build more in depth. Love the quick connect feature for the water jugs and all the natural wood. @SlowRoamers what is the link to the solar company in Vancouver? ( I didn't see it above)
👍 it's like a nice built , the mini stove is like a great idea 💪 it's like a good idea and to renew a like old car looks like really good ! 👍 It's like i really like the build !
Do you already know the way to clean the glass is to wad up newspaper and dip in first in water then in the ashes and wipe the interior glass and it will come clean in a minute ( when stove is cool). Then take another piece of wet newspaper to wash off the ashes. Works perfectly.
Great build !!! Anyone considering a weldtec lift, please do you research. There are better options at a much lower cost but if you are hell bent of spend $5k -$8k on a van lift, go to a custom 4x4 shop. Please don't become another Weldtec victim.
The narrow windows in the rear wall panels , Who is the manufacturer & where can they be purchased. Very nice an appears to be a easy install. Very nice Van build.
Excellent build on the van and beautiful woods installed Would love to do an Alaskan trip I follow Vanity city van life Chrome has a 2 wheel drive Extended height van that's been You need to make a little skid So that the heat Refrigerator refrigerator can escape instead of making a heat sink against the bottom of the fridge Save Travels Great video
Thanks so much Bob, it was great meeting you and spending some time with you. All the best and safe travels!
So glad you guys are getting well deserved exposure.
Cheers from Victoria! 🌎

Just the other day I mentioned to my wife that you don't see van life videos with couples. Now CheapRVliving has had two in the last week. 👍

I wanted to see the bed all folded down!
They don't filter their river water??? 😮 I like that, change out the spare every oil change!
HI! When was the video taken?
Hello Bob and friends from Puerto Rico
This is wonderful. Any idea of filter type how to connect
I see adventure time Loui in the background.

This van will be for sale in Argentina at the end of their Pan American journey .. ideal if someone wants to do the trip in reverse.
