My mom had bought the original Wipeout on a whim, and my family had a blast. It's a bad game that's really fun, due to, for the most part the rag doll physics. 10/10 lightning in a bottle
Yeah, the original Wipeout game was a bunch of fun because of ragdoll effects and the numerous glitches. The later games fixed the glitches and made the gameplay even more dull than it was before and none come close to as fun as the first one.
I loved the original Wipeout game for the Wii for the ragdoll effects and glitches too. I still die laughing whenever someone gets stuck on the sweeper, XD
It's the only reason I play the game to this day.
I wouldn't even say it is a bad game... I had it too and it certainly wasn't good, but it wasn't bad when compared to pretty much every other Wii game not made by Nintendo. It controls ok.

I like how the game in the description says it came out in 1999 when it's a Wii game. The developers were forward thinking knowing the Wii would exist some day :P

+PBGGameplay Since I have played this game I can clarify a couple things you probably didn't know. Not that it helps the gameplay, but just things inside the game.
1. If you play single player, you unlock more levels, customization features, and characters that you can use / play with two players.
2. The customization ability for your characters adjusts your player's "stats" when playing the game. There is a small bar that shows the stats when you are customizing.
I love how the RUclips ID system lists the Wipeout 3 RACING GAME.

There's a hilarious glitch on the Viking stage's Wipeout Zone where the hammers launched the character so high it flew past the invisible barriers. Sometimes it hits so hard that it activates a "double/triple-voice glitch" where multiples of voice clips play over each other at weird pitches. It's funniest with the Furball mascot or Vanessa [forgotten last name].
So nostalgic...played this game all the time 5-7 years ago! Such fun memories!

I've had the original wipeout Wii game that you guys played a while back for YEEEAAARS! And I love it cause its hilarious (at least the ragdolls) and I say you guys should play the original one again

Wipeout: Create & Crash is pretty good as well as Wipeout 2. Wipeout 3 is the worst one out of the series of games they created.

I like how it shows the Wipeout racing game from PS1 era in description than the Wipeout they were playing.
I was going to make a joke about Wipeout XL (a futuristic hovercar racer with weapons, Mario Kart style) being my favorite Wipeout game, but RUclips beat me to it by putting that series' Wipeout 3 as the game you were playing. XD
Wipeout 1 that u did the videos on, I got that from my aunt bc we both liked the show, so the first one is childhood 2 me and is surprisingly fun. That's the best one by far

Wipeout 2 is built like the first one was and I had fun with it. Still play it with friends and a few drinks actually. I got it for Christmas one year. It had a little bit more content than 1 but didn't sacrifice the stuff that made it fun I felt

We found Wipeout in a cheap game bin at Walmart and since our family is so competitive it turned out to be a stupidly fun game for us to play on game night. I still have it on my Wii but haven't played it for a long while. (It was the same one you guys played first).

The other wipeout game that you played my cousins owned and we played it all the time at their house. We just found it to be surprising a lot of fun. That game was 12/10 best Wii game by far forget Mario Galaxy that wipeout game was where it's at

I actually liked Wipeout 1 as a kid. Also there’s a game on Xbox live arcade called Doritos Crash Course that was a pretty fun ragdoll obstacle course.

Quite weird watching since i remember going to a redbox with my dad to get it at around 10pm then playing it thinking it was such a great game
