Thanks Annie! fun having yuo :)
Beautiful
Awesome work! I did the same by starting from scratch...
Awesome - lucked out on a new place with a sturdy shed in the backyard, saving this for when the time comes to get it up and running
That's awesome! let me know if it helps :)
This is exciting, it looks amazing! Congratulations!
Thanks fam!
That's beautiful, congratulations!!
Thank you!
Well done sir. Love your new space I'm prepping to build a shed studio, unfortunately, where I live anything larger than 10"x12" requires a building permit, fire sprinkler system, and many other money sucking regulations well beyond my wallet.
This is a great space! Im inspired as I prepare to build my studio in a few weeks.
good luck!!! thanks :)
Thanks for the inspiration...
Of course!
HalleluYahuah!
... and that’s a cool intro!
Thanks Tessa :)

Great build man! Studio looks dope! I need inspo to drop my reveal video. Finished my studio like 2 years ago now and never got around to dropping a reveal video 😂
yeah do it man!
I also converted a Tuff Shed into a studio, though mine is smaller; 9'x11' on the inside. You didn't include the wiring in this video. I laid in the electrical before the insulation. Instead of 2layers of drywall & Green Glue, I did 1 layer of 5/8" drywall then a layer of 1/2" fiberboard/soundboard. ::: You have a lovely tenor voice. PTL/LLAP

Thanks to my dad he make music studio for my best dream like u
Amazing!!! Hello from LA
Ughh thank you for the notice
I also built a home studio myself, but I love to watch on youtube how other people build their studios.
who knows, I might get more inspiration there to make the studio even better and more beautiful.
I never get expanded, there is always something to upgrade the studio.
That's what I was doing. Watching other people how to built studios. Then I started my own project and posted it on youtube...
I'm having the issue of having to turn the AC off to record, this video is super helpful, I need that AC
Yes!! A Quiet AC is the move!!
What thickness of insulation did you use on the walls? And also what kind of insulation? Does it soundproof adequately and is it cool/warm enough?
Just regular insulation. We did two layers of drywall with green glue in between to help with low end a little. It's pretty good, could definitely be better, but it works!
After seeing your wonderful rendition of " isn't she lovely " just by chance on RUclips and as a musician myself I was interested where that audition took you and I must say it's been a helluva journey..!! Things seem to be going ok so it's an instant sub from me and greetings from Liverpool, England..!!..ps..quick question..what make is the Acoustic guitar you used and is it the same one behind you in this clip..??.cheers, Robbie.
robbie duffy so cool!! Thanks Robbie! And it's a Tanglewood from the UK!
@@DavidFranciscoMusic wow..quick reply..!! I'm actually watching part two as we speak..!!..Tanglewood are great guitars..I'm hoping though to one day get a Taylor.. the band I'm in at the moment our other guitarist/ singer has one and they're beautiful instruments..!!!
What do about air conditioner?is the ac on all the time? Does it affect the studio equipment?
it's wifi controlled, and on a schedule! So it keeps everything just right!
This is so inspiring. Which Tuff Shed model is this?? Congratulations!
thanks! its' a custom one, they have a way to design one wth them :)
@@DavidFranciscoMusic thank you!
Awesome video!! Did Tuff Shed finish the inside?
No, we did it ourselves
I'm currently planning my studio build in the backyard. 17' x 24', are you able to share your total cost for this space?
cool man! about 30k total
You didn't mention anything about ventilation, both structural roof ventilation so you don't get interstitial condensation and also your fresh air supply/exhaust. What did you end up installing for that? Thanks
We actually just have an AC unit (Daikin) it's incredibly quiet and powerful and wifi controlled!
@@DavidFranciscoMusic yes, you have a mini split but they do not supply fresh air, and you have no exhaust. Opening the door and window every hour or so is not a valid solution in a completely sealed air tight building, by not having a proper fresh air supply it is dangerous and against building code.
what kind of a/c did you use?
It's a daikin wifi compatible one! really quiet, split unit so the motor (which is quiet) sits outside... highly recommend
How much total did you have invested?
So that new ac did the magic? 🤔
lol
I have a room studio
how do people find the money and time to afford all this space and equipment AND have the knowledge while still being able to afford living and normal day to day life? are you working a job and still able to find time to make music everyday?wtf how do people have all this time and resources?
It takes a lot of time! It's like starting a business. I make music FOR a living too, so the money I've made on music projects and speaking went into it! if you're young, just start small and keep growing! Most good things take time :)
