    Wonderful restoration as always! Really like the old style of that dark room lamp. I had a darkroom in the mid 70's - only B&W was practical at that time - I loved using one of my parent's old "brownie" cameras and my own 35mm to take pictures and develop them. It was a great hobby! 👍

    Well done Radek, a marvellous transformation from an unusable object into a fully functional darkroom light. I worked as a portrait photographer (until my accident) with digital cameras but I had to learn to use film cameras and darkrooms. We had to take pictures then develop and print them to pass our examinations but I've never seen a darkroom light with four different colours. It was nice to see Veronica too. I hope you are both well, and your children. Ahoj, Nick

    • @Ragnar8504
      @Ragnar8504 2 года назад

      Me neither, although I did find exchangeable colour filters when an old photo store closed down in the early 2000s. I seem to remember that olive green was for early colour print papers but would expose modern RA-4 paper despite the light being so dim you could barely see anything. B&W printing was fun, colour not so much, I gave up after a few tries. I still have a complete darkroom kit for B&W 35 mm developing and printing but no space to set it up. Tinned chemistry almost as old as I am and some paper that's probably twice as old.
      My old secondary school still has a fully functional darkroom and offers courses, that's what got me into photo developing when I was a teenager, at a time when most people just dropped off their films at the nearest supermarket.

    Великолепная работа! Мы с папой занимались фотографией, но лампа была простая красная. Это очень увлекательное занятие, запах реактивов, красный цвет и вот на бумаге появляется изображение! Настоящее волшебство 😊. Спасибо за ролик и ностальгию! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍Сейчас такой способ фотографии это очень дорогое элитное удовольствие, а раньше был доступен многим.

    как всегда отличная работа. я в детстве и юности много фотографировал и работал с похожим фонарём. насколько помню мощность лампы в фонаре не должна превышать 25 ватт, а лучше и меньше. иначе от перегрева повреждаются светофильтры.

    Ottimo restauro di una lampada strana, mai vista. A dire il vero pensavo fosse una lampada da discoteca :D
    Un consiglio: per evitare la morte prematura di una lampada a LED, conviene sempre utilizzare un interruttore bipolare per alimentarla. Il problema con un interruttore monofase è che non sempre viene interrotta la fase attiva e, in caso contrario, avremo un passaggio alternato anche attraverso i diodi che ne riduce la durata.

    Please always leave the green-yellow earth wire a little longer than that of the phase and the neutral wire ... if the plug detaches from the cable, the earth line (wire) should be the last to detach as protection for people.
    Otherwise, as always, a very professional job. respect
