  • Three years old and this is still my most popular video EVER! Don't forget to share the love by giving it some thumbs up action. I really appreciate it! ❤
Also, my website has changed form SugarTartCrafts to StitchandPink.com, and I've begun a new sewing binder series that teaches ALL the sewing techniques I learned in school.
Check out the rest of my videos to get in on the fun!

I don't put in invisible zippers very often but this is my go-to video when I do. This morning at 7:30 AM teenage DD told me she needed an invisible zipper fixed in her dance costume by 8:15 AM. This video saved me. It's in. Looks awesome.

Too helpful. I am back into sewing after a few years. I am making a communion dress for my granddaughter and needed a refresher on invisible zippers. Thanks!! It worked great.

Toni, this is an excellent tutorial because you provide only the salient points of each step and don't waste our time by forcing us to watch you put in all the pins, sew the zipper all the way down, etc. I put zippers in all of the new pillow covers I made for my couch. They look so professional!
I wish all instructional video presenters would follow your lead.

You are AMAZING. I've struggled A LOT with invisible zippers, leading to frustration and wanting to give up, but yesterday I found this tutorial. You make it look affordable, so when I followed your tutorial , it happens to be just as easy as you make it look. Your voice is calm, you don't rush through the tutorial leaving more questions than answers. You obviously know that I and many others are newbies to sewing,. The fact that you take some time for explaining and don't stress at all, make it much easier for people like me to follow the steps. If you were here now, I would hug you. I successfully installed my first invisible zipper ever today. I have you to thank for that. . Hugs from Lina

First of all, this video was perfect and told me exactly what I needed to know. I was so nervous about adding a zipper I can't tell you how nervous.
Now the bad news. I did all the steps, sewed the right side and it looked awesome and I was super happy. Guess it got a little overconfident because when I went to do the left side I twisted it one time too many and I had to tear out the whole side and start over. And it was a 22-in zipper! That's a lot of seam ripper action.
I got it ready to go and pinned to try again in the morning because it's time to go to sleep.
Thanks again for posting. Great, understandable content.

Thank you SO MUCH for this tutorial!! I have several projects that required invisible zippers and although I bought a package of the invisible zipper feet made by the zipper company I have zippers for, the darn plastic attachments kept breaking, separating, and remaking havoc in my sewing process. Your video is a god-send. I followed your instructions and was also pleasantly pleased that you included the step AFTER installing the zipper of how to complete the seam. I’m following branded dressmaker patterns and their instructions were unclear to me. THANK YOU! ❤️♥️
