Mine is coming in Saturday. So I removed exhaust and servo and downloaded gabro shorty map… took bike for a ride with open header and it was American V8 open header loud and sounded like crap.. hope that little gp22 pipe cleans the sound up!!!
Great video. A little agressive when close to other riders, but the bike rips! Wish i could bring my RSV4 out to play, but i live on the other side of the country lol
Homie is just sitting there like one of nature's greatest predators waiting for his prey to ride by. Also what in the crossed up fuck was that dude at 2:12 doing?
I'm just here to ask you to never delete any video of the rs660 mods (cause im buying one) + if it was possible for your to create a playlist? Thanks m8 for every videos
My sister also has rs660, fun bike. Sometimes i ride it insread onf my tuono v4. If track/canyon does not have lobg straights, its not hard to keep up with 1000cc bikes. Go for it.
I'd recommend get a top clamp and some slightly lower clipons. Make sure you do the hinge style like attack performance or whatever brand you prefer. Sounds amazing 😍
I received it in 3 days. It will depend if it’s in stock or not. It’s very loud. If PD wants to pull you over they will. It’s an immediate probable cause. But I’ve ridden by PD all the time and they never pulled me over. I guess I’m lucky or they were super cool cops. 🤷♂️
@@ALFAVITAGA Thank you. This is actually really helpful for my decision. And thanks for putting these videos out. Your build has been great for navigating to quality parts and their installs. I look forward to the next one!
Does that can flatten your midrange? I put a shorty can on my Tuono in place of the larger quieter Akrapovic and bro….my mid range and top end was ruined! Bike was flashed with Gabro stage 2 but it was still lacking. I put Akra back on and it wasn’t my imagination…the power was back! Have you noticed a difference?
I went from bone stock exhaust/bike to GP22-Velocity Stacks-Air Filter and Gabro map in one install. So naturally I only felt an improvement. I mean it is 200hp at the wheel so the power is no joke, but I do sense a small lag on mid range. By small lag I’m referring to not pulling my hands off the bars, but it’s still a rocket. I think an SC1-R for instance would give me more power throughout the rev range. But regarding the top end, I don’t feel a lag. Cruising at 160mph, I opened the throttle and I slipped back on the seat reaching 190mph and it kept pulling. But then again the TuonoV4 and RSV4 don’t have the same power. It’s lacking around 40hp. So even if the RSV4 is hurting from a short can, the power is so high that there is no time to even notice the lack. But by definition the short can will hurt the power compared to the longer one and you proved it with your Akra 👌✌️
You rode a Panigale V2 in your other video and now that you own RSV4 1100, how would you compare/rate two bikes in terms of handling and cornering? Since I've heard the SC exhaust on RSV4 1100 a few months, I am considering one myself. My next question, is the RSV4 1100 Factory worth the extra $7k with e-suspension and forge wheel for someone who will be mostly do street riding and canyons on the weekend? Thank you.
When I first rode the PaniV2 on that video I was amazed by the power difference compared to the RS660. It got me so excited that I knew at that moment that I would be upgrading to a bigger bike. When I got the RSV4 and got used of the power, I rode the Pani V2 again and it felt slow as hell. I know it sounds insane to call the PaniV2 slow because it’s a rocket, but compared to the power of the RSV4 it is truly slow. But the PaniV2 is much more agile than the RSV4. The RSV4 is a heavier bike to transition on slower turns compared to bikes like the PaniV2 or the RS660. Both the PaniV2 and RSV4 handle amazing. I’d still choose the RSV4 any day, especially for its amazing sound. Now comparing the Factory and base model, I can’t tell you if the $7k is worth it as I haven’t ridden the Factory. E-suspension I can tell you that I’m not a fan for multiple reasons. But forged wheels can make a difference. What I would do is get a base model and just change the wheels to forged. Plus you will probably have cheaper insurance and registration with the base model. But thats just my opinion. Not a fan of e-suspension 🤷♂️
@@ALFAVITAGA Thanks so much for the feedback, I currently ride 1199s (since July of 2023) with BST wheels and I think it's kinda agile after 16 years of lay off. And I think my 1199s is probably slow like the V2 also. When you say "The RSV4 is a heavier bike to transition on slower turns", that kind of reminds me of my first bike, Ducati 996, which I thought it was hard to ride especially at turns. Do you really have to put some effort into leaning and turning? Sorry, if my questions may seem out of place. TIA.
@@philliplongaz Don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying the RSV4 is not an agile bike. It’s just that compared to lighter bikes like the RS660 and the PaniV2 it’s a bit sluggish. I only felt this on tight transition turns at around 40-45mph turns. Thats only where I felt like I had to put some extra effort to turn. There is a road called Las Flores here in LA that with my RS660 I would fly through those corners. With the RSV4 Im slower. But on turns 60mph and above the RSV4 is a rocket and feels light, agile and planted.
In person you can’t hear the dry clutch as loud next to the GP22. The Gopro always picks up higher pitched sounds. Thats why an R6 sounds louder than an RSV4 on camera, even though its not ✌️
yeah makes sense... i was just joking because those clutches are definately loud. can't imagine that exhaust in person, microphones never do the justice @@ALFAVITAGA
The sound of that thing is insane! Can't wait to get one

Bro, you gave me a mini heart attack at 2:29 . I legit thought you had crashed because of the spinning transition 😂💀.

Bro I can't wait until I purchase my RSV4! That is an awesome sounding motorcycle!
It is impossible to go slow with this exhaust. In person it sounds a million times better. Remember this when you first get an RSV4 ✌️

Very true. If anything you can be faster on tight turns with the 660
I'd recommend get a top clamp and some slightly lower clipons. Make sure you do the hinge style like attack performance or whatever brand you prefer.

I have already purchased a top clamp with clip ons. I will make a video install soon. It will transform the cockpit of the bike ✌️
@@ALFAVITAGA do you plan on getting front suspension cartridges as well? I found base RR to be too soft almost like bouncy while cornering
@@octane_ape 100% front cartridges must be replaced. They are not bouncy but Im at the limit of bottom out therefore I need stiffer springs.
Was it a long wait for the GP22? Any issues with the local PD because of the sound level? I'm so torn between this and the CRT lol
