Such an incredible display of MTG from you on every video, so many challenging decisions being made and you continue to prove why you're one of the absolute best players. Your videos cannot be understated on how valuable they are to watch every single one of. Thank you so much.
36:05 So, the OP did NOT sac Veteran when Kenji blocked their Grand Ball Guest with Naughty on their turn (effectively tradinga 2/1 for a 1/3 flier), but DID do it EOT so that Naughty just stayed on the battlefield, huh? #paidactor
Just letting you know that I finally drafted my first 7 win deck and it's because I watched hours of you dissecting picks, always first picking candy grapple and evaluating your insane color wheels. Thanks Numotthenummy!
Still have to say one of the funniest/best videos you’ve ever made was when you swapped with LSV and kept forcing puns and picks and… yeah. Keep on grinding, Nummy! Such great content, man.
1:04:50 You could have easily won that game if you just set Talion on 2. And no, this is not #hindsight - against Bx decks, you want it on 2 >80% of the time because of Candy Grapple. Edit: Oh, and look at that, in the final vs another Bx deck, setting Talion on 2 instead of 3 would have gotten you 3 more triggers...
You know Magic creatures have come a long way when a 2/2 with flash, flying, a relevant creature type, and upside for 2 mana isn't good enough to want more than 1 copy.
You gotta love people who comment on here saying you missed this or that lol! When they’d have missed the same plays or worse in game. Congratulations on the qualification you are a phenomenal player and deserve every win you craft!
Я в шоке! Я думал Последний соперник не оставит тебе шансов! Я до последнего не верил, что у тебя получится! Спасибо за мастер класс! Силед и драфт были очень круты! Держу за тебя кулаки, Намми!))
35:25 wasn’t a free block. He might have been bluffing sacrificing the embreth veteran to put a roll token on grand ball guest and buff it to 3/3 using celebration.
@@reidyo5404 exactly, thought I was going crazy. He could have had battlegarb and young hero token on the grand ball guest, making it an early threat. It folds to removal, but since OP did it anyway, might as well gotten the celebration trigger.
The OP on game 2 could have had a trampling bespoke attacker coming in for 6/4 trample. Even if they could have done it at instant speed as pseudo trick to kill naughty. I think the game would have been much harder for you if they saw that line.
good stuff nums! i wanted to ask, why dont you t1 hopeless nightmare anymore? is it an issue of knowing information or needing the op to have more/less cards in hand?
From my own experience, you've got a much better chance to hit something nice of you wait a little bit. Turn one they either pitch a land, an off color card they don't have a land for yet, or their worst spell in general. Later in the game you usually get their best or most expensive spell.
I know safe bet on Talion is naming two or three but I don't think I saw OP play a single three mana spell in game one or two, unless I'm mistaken. Two seems way better in retrospect. [Edit: nvm, guess they did have grasp of fate, my bad lol]
Watching you play is incredibly frustrating. Listening to you complain for 5 minutes about drawing poorly and then talking about winning with your draw is really annoying. Alternatively, you not drawing X card on turn 2 or 3 and then you immediately writing the game off as a loss only for the game to go for another 10 minutes gets really old. Not sure if its just for content or thats how you really see the game

Watching Shatter get revealed from the top and then shuffled away at 1:38:13 was gut wrenching.
I'm your m1 opp! Sad to lose but at least i'm glad it was to you

That food deck has to be best WOE food deck ever. Damn, did he had like more than 10 ways to make food?
Love your vids nummy. Limited is my favorite format.
That last match was epic
It's like to see your sensei on a real fight! Great build an amazing plays, the last game was incredible.
Nummy’s tummy😳 47:10
I love how Kenji pulls out his best game during the Arena Opens 😊
Still have to say one of the funniest/best videos you’ve ever made was when you swapped with LSV and kept forcing puns and picks and… yeah. Keep on grinding, Nummy! Such great content, man.
I'd love to see the two of them do a collaborative dual-draft, kind of like what Mystical Dispute have been posting on their RUclips
Lutri-Zuran Orb/Golos 🤔

Saw the Likeness Looter missing ETBs coming, that was brutal haha. Congrats on qualifying!
Last games where crazy, lol. Congrats!

That was a great watch. Your face on losing Greta without drawing a card and then winning 21-0 coming from 1-28. 👏
Am I the only one who mouses over cards to read them, only to realize this isn't Twitch?

Game two Talion on 2 might've won too
Of the fairies matchup
Perfect timing. Just looked for an evening entertainment.....
I was thinking the exact same thing
same. good hungover entertainment
Such an incredible draw of the Spector of Mortaly! WTF, I have never done anything like that in my drafts.

Congrats. Amazing achievement to qualify for day 2 draft 2. Well done.
Should’ve been easy 4-0 tho
@@zealot2147 please review my arena. I went 4-3. I posted it this time. Let me know if you see anything. I could have done better.

Nvm he wasn’t bluffing, just dumb since he sacrificed it anyway lol. If he did that earlier he could have eaten your 1/3

@@Pravinoz yeah i feel like that would have blowout for Nummy there
@@gonkoplonko8473 yah that fairie gained quite a bit of life over the game lol
...that last round was effing stressful
Some boss level wins for our boy
So much food the only word for that opp is Glutton.
....strangely enough he didn't have a Hamlet Glutton.
GGS!!!!
Not putting 'part 1' in the title and bricking on lands in the last game made it feel like it was definitely a loss.
intentional this time - avoiding spoilers :)
It certainly worked!
Match 4 game 1 was so nuts!!!
Specter saving the day in so many games after most people scoffed at its cost, Pog.
Amazing fae-fae pun! Love it
yo that food deck tho! WTF was that! great games
Phew some tense games!
@Numot: why didn't you run Obyra's Attendants main? Pseudo removal and all?
that were some nailbiting games
These games are too dang stressful

@justinrishel1742 ah true, thanks man!
That first win tho
Yooo I feel like talions messenger that gets counters is actually better than Talion himself even if you’re you’re blue black, what do you think??

3 does hit more % wise of commons and uncommons so it’s pretty normal to audible to it
Fun games there!
match 1 game 2 opponent should have sac'd the veteran on turn 3, hit you for a million.
Yes and no. He would just lose to feed the cauldron the following turn. It’s a fair line but super risky as well
Great draft ❤
OP giftet you another turn at 1:04:48! Chump the Mintstrosity and gain 3 to fall back to 1.
The adventure spell taps the creature and applies the cursed role. His 3/2 would have been tapped. It was gg for Nummy.
sure! forgot about the tapping :)

THE GOLDEN GODDDD
specter of mortality "i dont think thas a good card" wrecks the opponent when he was almost dead
Lol typically it’s not, but it sure worked out here
This title tho 🤣
Nummy!!!

For me it’s the most real you can be. He’s not crying or going over board, he’s voicing his frustrations which is a real thing in magic.
What’s up with the video quality
