Thanks man, I appreciate this. I was doing some research on Arc'teryx for a YT vid. You helped out a lot!

We buy it to last 10 years. Not like those that buy a cheap coat that falls apart in a year and dump into landfills.

Haha...you dont need it. You're probably just walking to work anyways. Haha this is so true for 99% of current day bird buyers.
I remember buying Arcteryx and patagonia 10-12 years ago when no one knew who they were. The recent hype makes me not like them anymore. I'm weird like that. Same goes Canada Goose. Not only that but my Filson Packer Coat is a lot warmer then Canada Gooses Expedition jacket

@@555Gear Filson is great but ever since they sold it to this new company the quality has gone down BIG TIME. I mean like not worth it at all. It's such a problem that the employees are telling corporate that customers are leaving the brand in waves. They have shifted to making like 10 % of their stuff being made in America now and even that was outsourced to California and the quality of that has gone way down. Just go into the galleria and look a Mackinaw Crusier. Touch it, look at the stitching and the quality and density of the wool. It's down right embarrassing.
They also started making fashion pieces to fit current trends and raised the prices even more. The quality is terrible. I guess none of it is selling and now when you go to outlet, it's just packed with inventory. Like more stuff then they can find shelf space for. It's really really sad. Part of me enjoys watching these new generation of executives fail, not understanding that things were built on tradition and value.

You just mentioned two of our biggest problems. It became popular so now it’s overpriced and everything is glued together so after a couple years it all falls apart. I got these idiots driving in their range rovers to shopping ball wearing jackets with forever chemicals that they don’t even need. It’s like bringing a cannon for rabbit hunting.
I dare mention a brand replacement for fear it will become popular and seeing the next bus load of brand tourists being dropped off and standing on line.
