2 things.
1 Do not wear cotton. Cotton will hold on to moisture and make you colder. A synthetic or merino mid layer will keep you much more comfortable and dry.
2 if you're wearing 2 pairs of socks your boots are too big. A correctly fit snowboard boot will keep you warm with a thin ski or board sock. The boot keeps you warm the socks job is to keep you're feet dry and let the boot do it's job.
Thanks for the input. Yea cotton isn’t great especially in the backcountry. Not as necessary if you just at the resort. I guess the boot things depends who you are. My boots aren’t too big, im wearing a super thin pair under my regular socks. Some people for whatever reason run warmer than others.
Thanks for watching the video! I have linked the proucts in the description if anyone wants to check them out.
Hey man really cool video. Do you have a link for the Burton hoodie midlayer, I really liked that one. Thanks
@@aiolosdaftsis Here is the Canadian link. Depending what size you are, I'd recommend waiting a bit and see if it goes on sale. I have been waiting to pick the green one up but it seems like the Medium and Large rarely are on sale. www.burton.com/ca/en/p/burton-westmate-polartec-pullover-hoodie/W22-213911.html
the uniqlo heattech base layers are great.
do they trap your sweat ?
not really, I wear a wool mid layer and I don't feel any clammy areas.@@user-zj6ie5gc2t
cotton kills! dont wear cotton!
True if you are out in the backcountry. If you are resort skiing, not as important
