Ive done both and prefer insulated here in Colorado. So nice not wearing a bunch of layers and they make them with several zippered gusssts can open to vent when gets warm 😊
If you wear a hardshell and layer underneath dont you negate every quality of that breathable layer? You're gonna sweat in your fleece or down jacket or whatever is underneath. With an insulated jacket you get something fully integrated with its features and can get very good insulation like primaloft
It's not even debate. Insulation is easy, just add layers. Get merino underlayer, maybe even midlayer. Only place you actually need that extra insulation, is for extreme weather in high mountains or something or for casual city jacket. In the end, you get nice outdoor jacket for pretty much every weather instead of just winter jacket.
I didnt get it, but i liked it, me n many other will still buy something that we look good when put on, and than we freeze n die on a mountain while looking good
Oh my goodness! I heard "We preferred the synthetic material because we're vegan" and subscribed immediately! I believe I finally found the right channel

I don’t understand your comment, so what so you prefer can you conclude it?

just like that ye
My opinion: insulation in the bib, shell all day long on top! Layering is where it’s at.
insulated
Insulated skiing the East, shell skiing the West coast imo.
where the hell do I put my layers if I remove them during the day with a shell? I dont want to bring a fucking backpack all day long.
@@juanantonio.salgado the same place you'd put your insulated jacket if you got too hot?? 🤷🏼

Yup... vegans don't kill animals.
Those giant Agricultural Combines definitely don't kill countless species.
How do you know when someone’s vegan? They will tell you! Good vid tho
wtf
