He was never the same. If I had to include Tyson on his second coming after prison then I would not rate that Tyson very much either.
Lewis beat Bowe in the Olympics, beat Holyfield, Vitali Klitschko, Mike Tyson, Tua, Razor Ruddock, Bruno, Tommy Morrison, Mercer, Tucker, Grant, Botha, Shannon Briggs, Golota so he would have a very good chance at beating Fury. If I had to choose 4 opponents to give Lewis a hard night I actually think the current "top 4" would all pose a decent threat. Wilder, Joshua, Usyk and Fury. Most of all, Tyson Fury. It's just his size, reach and awkwardness.

Then his 3 fights against Wilder the most over protected champ in history. Now finally a real proper tough test. Of Tyson beats Dillian which I doubt, he will go along way to cementing his legacy. Lennox Lewis one of my favourite of all time. He made some of the toughest boxers of his era look too easy and mediocre. In my book Tyson has to prove himself by beating all the best in this era before we will even consider the question of whether he can beat Lewis or not!
Well he’s retiring at 33. He beat one decent damn boxer and that Is wilder. And wilder isn’t even that great, he’s just dangerous. Fury isn’t that fucking good. He just looks good in this era of poor heavy weight talent. Fury got lucky as hell in this era
@@burdman1333 I agree with most of your points. I think Fury is good boxer in any era and his size means only great champions will beat him easily.
Great all time champions like Lewis, Mike Tyson have shown that in their prime they have beaten anyone worth fighting in their era. For Tyson Fury to be one of the greats he only has to beat AJ Vs Usyk winner or both if possible. I think he can do it and once he does this he will be up there with Lennox Lewis and Mike Tyson.
Tyson lost to his best opponents. Unless you value his win over a 40 year old Holmes who just came out of retirement.
@@rorus9530 I agree I don't think win over Holmes at that stage of Holmes's career counts at all. The reason Tyson is in mine and many people's to 10 is because Tyson beat everyone put in front of him at the time. Even his first loss was unfair as he beat Douglas but the count was too slow and the fight was allowed to continue then he lost fair and square.
All his other losses came after he came out of prison. He was never the same. If I had to include Tyson on his second coming after prison then I would not rate that Tyson very much either.
Those cuts were caused by punches though. I’m not sure how you can look at the state of vitali face after the fight and say Lennox didn’t win.
Lennox would have definitely cleaned house in this generation no doubt about that
Close fight but I think Lewis is the greatest. Amazing resume.
Fury has an 85 inch reach and Lewis 84 inch. Fury`s true height is just under 6ft 8 around 6ft 7 and a half. Lewis fought Grant, Akinwande and Vitali Klitschko who were over 6ft 7.
Here see Lewis`s career in summary at ruclips.net/video/OSZWIJqcw3k/видео.html
