Lennox Lewis was the greatest of his era. And an all time great. Fought everyone. The last Undisputed champion.... pay attention to him folks.
Lennox Lewis would beat Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder, and Lennox might also be able to beat Tyson Fury :-)
He was also from the same Gym as Tyson Fury 🤔
He found his belts in the trash, beat a couple of washed up legends.. and got knocked out by Rahman. Relax brother…
Man ducked Mike Tyson his whole career. Only fought him when he was finished
@@Danielgavito he was hiding over at the Olympics while mike was in his prime, then even after Lennox came to the pros.. he avoided mike for roughly 10 years. The Lennox fans will tell you that Mike payed him off.. or offered ‘stay away’ money.. but the truth is, Lennox dodged Mike for many years before and after that. He finally decided to fight mike after he was completely done. Drugged up, washed up, no will to fight. Lennox will always be the most over rated heavyweight in the history of boxing.
The greatest and most tactical heavy weight champion in my opinion. He is undisputably the best ever boxer to employ the deadly uppercut. A rough Competitor and at his peak, he could defeat any boxer he met.
Yes, his right upper from mid distance was a sight to be seen.
I love Lennox. He gives credit to modern heavyweight champions and not get drawn into the fantasy match that can't happened.

Giving a guy who is supposed to be an All Time great credit for the current crop of Heavyweights is not really giving LL credit look at these big slow sloppy clowns that are killing the sport not many people watch boxing anymore
@@johntoomey357 that’s false
I'm a superstitious guy, and i do believe even if somehow that fantasy fight happened, you know that Lewis will beat Fury. You know that.
@@mickeythegent5144 Not true.
Why Fury wins
1. Better boxing IQ
2. More skilled ( orthodox and Southpaw)
3. Better movement feet and legs
4. Reach
5. Chin & recovery abilities
Only thing Lennox could be better which is debated would be power. Because the now Fury seats on his punches . When Fury becomes Undisputed. I am sure this argument will end. Because then he will be.
Unbeaten
2x Undefeated lineal and undisputed
3x ring magazine champ
Lennox Lewis has the undisputed over Fury. When he has that, he will be ranked above Lennox Lewis for sure
Lennox has always been my favourite boxer of all time and always will. RESPECT 🦁👊
The last Undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the World, nothing else needs to be said.

Never got full credit in the uk because of his Canadian roots but defo one of the greatest of any era

Yes Lewis would beat fury both in their prime.
Lol maybe maybe not, we shall never know. LL was great no doubt, i'm a fan but he did get KO'D by two guys who Fury would have beat quite easily. I love both but this doubting Fury thing is pretty silly lol. The guy is about 19 stone and very fast and has very good movement, trust me imo he's a tricky problem for anyone.
@@stefjonno1 don't forget that Lewis revenged his losses without a problem, so your point that Tyson would beat them easily, and that's why he would beat Lewis is not valid.
@@sergiorivera1085 "Easily" was maybe the wrong word. What i should have said is..I have seen nothing thus far to see Fury getting KO'D by those guys. I love LL by the way, but a fight versus Fury would be a tough night for both imo.
Lennox Lewis in his prime would demolish Fury in 5 rounds!
Fury is a phenomenal guy, but man, prime Lennox is definitely in the top 3 best heavyweights of the era
He is one of the best heavyweights in history. Fury would have to hang around five more years undefeated to be considered the greatest.

@@agnikaineverdies7646 Go and watch fights from the past and find out.
Lennox Lewis was the last all time great heavyweight.
My childhood hero, the most elegant boxer ever, pure style plus power
Lennox is such a class act. The best ever in the ring and a gent out of it. Fury is good, but Lennox had all the same skills and incredible power.
🦁 Lennox Lewis Manhandles Low-Power Ali. He was a much bigger-framed technically superior fighter and clearly a bigger puncher. Ali wouldn't be able to out muscle him and Lewis would wreak too much havoc. Soft spoken intelligent Lennox at his best was the total package and when he fought seriously he was pretty much untouchable.
The last undisputed Super Heavyweight champion emerged as cream of the crop against some of the biggest punchers in Heavyweight history like Vitali Klitschko, Evander Holyfield, Mike Tyson, Razor Rudduck, Shannon Briggs, David Tua, Tommy Morrison, Ray Mercer, Michael Grant, Andrew Golota, Frank Bruno, Tony Tucker and more.
Lewis avenged his only two defeats by knockout, having beaten every man he ever faced. Lennox didn't make excuses for his only two losses,, he said, "It's Heavyweights, you can get caught, but i won the rematches in style," and, "Show me a fighter without a loss, and i'll show you a fighter that fought a lot of nobodies."
Been involved with boxing many years in-n-outta the ring and small heavyweight Ali was missing one main ingredient 'POWER'. Ali's ability to eat thousands of head shots cost him his retirement. That's why 56 year old Lennox Lewis is G.O.A.T,, to hear him talk so clearly and eloquently after going up against 15 Heavyweight Champions is unbelievable!
Lewis haters always say, "but he got knocked out twice ha ha." Well i say, "Ali lost his best 30 years of retirement from having his faculties traumatized for an entire decade,, watching his head used as catchers mitt 100,000 times was awesome ha ha.. it's not how you start IT'S HOW YOU FINISH."
The 15 HW Champions Lewis faced: Vitali Klitschko, Evander Holyfield, Mike Tyson, Razor Rudduck, Shannon Briggs, Tommy Morrison, Ray Mercer, Michael Grant, Frank Bruno, Tony Tucker, Hasim Rahman, Oliver McCall, British HW champion Gary Mason, European HW champion Jean Chanet and Commonwealth HW champion Derek Williams. Lennox also beat cruiserweight champ Glenn McCrory.
Excellent analysis mate, Lennox was the best in arguably the best era of heavyweight boxing, Fury hasn't even fought everyone in his era which anyone with boxing knowledge would agree is one of the weakest eras in heavyweight history, that's not to say Fury wouldn't beat them all, in my humble opinion he would be about as good as John Fury was in his era had he been in Lennoxs era.
you're completely drunk...
and I think LLewis is one of the best heavyweights.
But saying he was more technically proficient than Ali is nuts... saying that Ali didn't have power is DUMB, he wasn't Foreman or Frazier, but come on 🤦
"Out muscle him" this much says you know nothing about boxing... Ali was never a powerful boxer... He was a dancer, a fast man... He never overpowered any of his opponents because he couldn't. He outboxed them using his blinding speed, insane reflexes, godly footwork, otherworldly stamina to dance for 15 rounds in his prime and sheer will+ granite chin that took best shots from monsters and strongest heavyweights that ever lived Foreman, Shavers, Liston. Lewis is too slow and nowhere near as powerful as men like Shavers, Liston, Foreman to knock him out. When they couldn't, he wouldn't be able to.
Lennox not only one of the top heavyweights in the history of boxing, but a great, respected sportsperson !
Lennox knows he would have stopped Fury. "Don't ask easy questions" but he's also smart enough not to plainly answer the question as it'll be used as a headline the next day
@@trueultimagod2465 What part of Tyson Furys legacy makes you think it would be a close fight?
@@trueultimagod2465 it's without a doubt true that the heavyweight division was tougher in the 90s compared to the modern era. All you have to do is compare the top ten then to now, it's plain to see and Lewis conquered them all and more! Fury hasn't even achieved that yet, he needs to beat AJ and Usyk to prove total dominance over the current crop, but he won't.
Styles combined, I think Lewis had the speed, power and footwork advantage. Furys size would've been his main advantage going into the fight, only way I see Fury winning that fight is by grinding Lewis down, similar to what he did against wilder in the 2nd and 3rd fight.
The difference is, Lewis would stay out of the way with superior footwork resulting in most likely a points win for Lewis in my opinion.

Agreed once Tyson fury fights all contenders in the heavyweight division, then we can argue if he could beat Lennox Lewis until then it shouldn't be up for discussion, but casuals will say he beats Lennox all day long🙄
I guess a fight with either AJ or Usyk would do the trick. In others words: he hasn't fought anybody but if he fights 1 or 2 guys more he'd fought everybody? He almost there.
@@rafapazos06 No that wouldn't do the trick as he hasn't fought all his contemporaries in his era, has he fought Hunter, Hrgovic, Pulev,Povetkin,Helenius, Kownacki,Parker,Joyce, just to name a few, even David Price he avoided like the plague, that's not exactly 1 or 2 more guys is it,you might be satisfied with just fighting the winner of the most belts(Joshua/Usyk) but I'm most certainly not.
@@timedwards2940 Oh my. You really came up with a list of bums. Bar Joe Joyce in my opinion. He definitely crossed many off that list when he beat Whyte.
@@rafapazos06 they are all of his contemporaries and some of them are ex champions ,whether it's world ,Euro or British, so to call them bums is hilarious, i guess Fury getting Dropped by Cruiserweight Cunningham who he admitted was his hardest fight, and John Mcdermott are world beaters In your eyes🙄Joyce is the only good one of the list, what a muppet you are. @@timedwards2940 Only because you are so smart I'm going to drop this bomb on you. Listen carefully young boy: Lennox Lewis didn't fight Riddick Bowe. That is right, Riddick Bowe was no Andy Ruiz jr. So instead of mumbling shite get your facts straight because that is the top player that is missing from Lennox list but I assure you there are a few bums following that list too. Of course nobody gives too shites about those dons.
I must say this Lennox Lewis dominated his era. He dominated 3 different eras of boxing.
Boxing fan for 30 years
Guys today are not as Good as the 90s, but they are bigger
Tyson however is very different to the modern lumps. He is huge, but has unnatural speed, stamina and movement for a man his size and obviously he has some power when he sits on his shots. He also has great recovery when hurt and an abundance in heart
Now if you had to create a perfect heavyweight then lennox is as close to as you can come up with. He's as big as modern guys, but he is even more athletic and much more experienced. His I.q is off the charts and only fury can match him. He has been knocked out twice, but contrary to belief he has a very solid chin. He was just caught with 2 very hard shots. A heavyweight with a glass jaw doesn't take hits from,
Tyson
Mercer
Morrison
Briggs
Holyfield
Bruno
Klitschko
Etc
To the point I would lean to Lennox, but Fury is the guy that rises to the occasion and it wouldn't surprise me if he could pull it off
Both legends, but if Fury wants to be held in the same esteem? He needs to come back to defeat Usyk/Aj
I expect he will

Lennox too big and strong with a good boxing I.Q he beats fury no problem! Fury’s a great fighter but Lennox was in a era of heavyweights that on another level to this current crop of heavyweights.

It's funny that people are so arrogant about their opinion that they don't think it's a debate.
Lewis was know for winning fights by keeping people at the end of his jab, usually with a reach advantage - his reach is less than Fury's. He was always punching down at opponents - Fury's 3-4 inches taller. He was usually the heacuer man - he wouldn't be. His footwork and head movement were worse than Fury's.
Fury never fought any proper opponent as Lewis did, even now if Fury goes in the ring with Shannon Brigs is insta death.

What a question to ask an ex professional boxer. About Twitter. I was expecting him to say, you know I don't give a s***. And Lennox was a legend. Of course he thinks he will win.
When you say Lennox Lewis, you will always think about his uppercut, cause that's so brutally effective.
One of the best boxers ever behind Vitali.
He was in front of him bro. I did a video on my channel which analysed the “Philly shell” defence. YOU SHOULD CHECK IT OUT
Vitali was something else
Lennox Lewis beats Tyson fury.
Lennox Lewis era runs through this era. With ease
Don't use weapons do it like the old days! When they had swords, and maces and axes and clubs!
lennox would wash fury and aj
Just like he washed McCall in their first fight?
He would with ease. I did a video on my channel which analysed the “Philly shell” defence. YOU SHOULD CHECK IT OUT
Lennox is a brillian color commentor. Analyses and spots details in all fights.
Lennox is one of the greatest heavyweights of all time. Tyson Fury is the best of this era for now. Check out my latest video on Andre Ward’s reaction to Canelo Alvarez’s loss to Dimtry Bivol!!!!
Waste of anybody’s time comparing present v past - ain’t happening 🛑
Never to compare Lennox Lewis with anyone He is High Tension
Prime Lennox Lewis was probably the best HW fighter in history.
In that era, Fury wouldn’t have made it through Morrison, Tua, Holyfield etc even to get a fight with Lewis.
Lennox got into Bob Marley's habbits.
Yeah! Finally got my Piers back!
I love the fact that Lennox Lewis evaded the political questions from Piers Morgan (Lennox Obviously not a left wing hurray)
He is true boxer
Of course Lennox could have beaten Tyson Fury , he was also the top of the tree fighter , as was Ali , Forman , Lewis , Marciano, !! but equally Fury could possibly have beaten all of them ?
You're also forgetting Larry Holmes, which in his prime could've beaten any heavyweight
@@timedwards2940 Sonny Liston would have Dominated Holmes.
@@parthsaigal9806 he mightve done, but it's just a fantasy matchup as they're in different eras, but I'm inclined to agree with you, prime Liston and no corruption in the sport at his time, probably beat all the HW's.
i
Offcourse he wil , easily to
Fury's great and he'd give Lennox a lot of problems. But I'd bet on Lewis for that fight and I think I'd be right 7 times out of 10.
A lovely chat. Thank you
Lewis would definitely beat fury in his prime.. but a prime Mike Tyson would beat them both in the same night in his prime.
😂😂😂😂 mate, no version of Mike Tyson would ever beat prime lennox or fury. Both stop Mike Tyson.
@@frankdux5693 g,,, "
@@frankdux5693 no one beats a prime Mike Tyson except Muhammad Ali at his prime
@@abze09 🤣 feminine fanboys that know nothing about boxing say the stupidest things.
@@abze09 Tyson fury would knock Mike Tyson out in about 9 rounds, and he won't have a mark on him when he does it.
Lennox Lewis is a class act.
Lewis was better than all of them past and new.
At least the plane passenger has a story to tell
