GREETINGS Im asking for help When I transfer the loop to Sampler control it is not in tempo as on the tape where the loop is. You have already helped me a lot and congratulations
Thank you! Great video. Quick question: When I drag the MIDI Phrase into the project it does it with the original tempo of the sampler. Is there a way to do it so it is on the tempo of the session. Thanks in advance!
Either ensure the sample is at the right tempo, or after you've dragged the MIDI to the track, set the selection tool (1) to be in 'Sizing Applies Time Stretch' mode and resize it to the correct length for the prevailing tempo and you should be good to go. If the sample is a musical length (2 bars, let's say), then this should be quick and easy to do.
I'm running Cubase 10.5 and when I'm using time warp "solo", for example with a string sample, the higher notes sound very glitchy and not clean. Any ideas?? When switching to "music" mode it's gone but then I cannot use the entire octave range :/
It sounds like you're at the limits of its ability to alter the pitch in that mode - this is the reason that most sample libraries are multi sampled across many pitches, allowing realising pitch changes without 'munchkinisation'... Unfortunately the Sampler Track at the moment doesn't allow for what is a pretty conventional technique in sampling, so it's probaby a better choice to use a standalone sampler plugin which will allow you to load appropriate multi-pitched samples.
@@musictechtuition Thanks, that's what I thought. I still have an Akai S6000 with SD card reader in mint condition, but I don't remember if the samples are played like with time warp in cubase. So when you play lower or higher notes the length doesn't change.
Absolutely, by far, the best channel for Cubase tutorials. Keep up the great work.
After seeing this video I have purchased your Cubase 11 book, thanks
Brilliant!!!! A great channel this, very informative, great presentation as usual!!!! 👏👏👏👏👏
Thanks!
Great Video!
Very useful - thanks for doing this.
Thank You

You look and sound so much like John Peel you could be his son!
Are you ?
Anyway you got my subscription ;)
How to mix several samples to make an instrument in cubase pro 11?
Not with sampler tracks - they are essentially mono-timbral, so you'll need to use something else.
Does it have ADSR and Pitch and Time Stretch per slice?
Hello, I would like to know how to cut parts of samples in a melody or a sample of a sample track to play it on the piano roll?
The nearest thing to that is to use the slice functionality, which is at 7:20 in this video. HTH.
