Your work is beautiful. As a beginner, may I offer some suggestions? When you are a beginner it would be really nice to have something slower that was actually explaining each step that not in triple time that you are trying desperately to figure out exactly what you are doing and with which product. One other suggestion is please move the measuring cup from right in front of the camera so it’s near impossible to see around it. I would love to LEARN from this, but couldn’t possibly with this presentation. ❤️
Hi, please can you advise about the below? 1- How to clean molds and used cups? 2-Should we wear something specific to avoid resparatory problems that would result from resin smell?
It is very important to wear a respirator to protect yourself inhaling the fumes of resin. In this video I was not using any respirator because I wasn't aware the consequence of not protecting my self but for my other videos I am using a respirator to protect my self inhaling the fumes.
Resin and resin hardener must be mixed together and the ratio will depend what brand are you going to use. Follow the ratio what they suggested on the label.
Hello, Love your resin art. Just wanted to know, the heat gun you used, does it helps just to break the bubbles or it helps to harden the resin fast, so that you can pour another layer on top it.
This was my very first attempt and I used a total of 300ml epoxy resin for 5 coasters. It is 0.4 cm thick, I tried just 4 molds and it turned out to be 0.6 to 0.7 cm for 300ml resin mix.
Great video and they turned out pretty...you may want to keep in mind that the camera gets blocked when you put the containers in front of it. It was hard to see what you were doing sometimes because the plastic container was in the way. Thank you for the tutorial!
I added light gold mica powder and white liquid resin Pigment colors to reduce the brightness of the pink mica powder. Let me add that in the description with the list of materials that I used in this video. I forgot to add that one 😅.
I agree with Elliej90, if it is for beginners it needs to be actual time with someone explaining, how and what you are doing. I didn’t watch all the way because of the music & not being able to actually learn anything x
Thank you for sharing but might I make a suggestion as to next time, try to keep objects out of the view of the camera. Several times you sat your containers between the coasters and the camera, obstructing part of the view.
Thanks for the tip! This is actually my first video and I don't know what I am doing here. Please check out my newer videos and let me know if I have improved and what you can suggest :)
Thank you for the 4k views. 🥰😍

Thank you! Your suggestions are highly appreciated. I will do my best to do better next time. :)
I just said this samething to myself
Wow amazing work!!
Do you use a mask when you make your coasters?
Yes. I'm using a respirator now for safety.
How much resin:harder ratio for one coaster?
Amazing! Keep up the good work
Thank you 😊
What did you use the gold pen for? Or what do you use the gold pen for?
Can you use a non toxic resin on coasters?
You can use a non toxic resin to any projects. Just check the label make sure you use a NO - VOC resin.
Can I use a hairdryer???
Yes, you can, and be careful not to spill the resin.
Thank you ! :)
What is the top cot???
Love them all. Great colours too.
Thanks so much 😊

Hi what about the safety measures people have to take when handling epoxy resin?
It is very important to wear a respirator to protect yourself inhaling the fumes of resin. In this video I was not using any respirator because I wasn't aware the consequence of not protecting my self but for my other videos I am using a respirator to protect my self inhaling the fumes.
Hi Mary I wanted to know about the liquid you are mixing is that resin and resin hardner mixed together. Wasn’t sure couldn’t really see
I will order the same one you had, so the hardner is it important to make sure it’s included for this project?
Yes, it's the resin and resin hardener mixed together for 4 minutes.
Resin and resin hardener must be mixed together and the ratio will depend what brand are you going to use. Follow the ratio what they suggested on the label.
Thank you honey
Last question what are the measurements you used for the resin and the resin hardner is it just half and half
How much resin do you mix for them all? Thanks
About 300ml of resin. :)
@@MaryCDCrafts thanks
@@MaryCDCrafts Is that 300 ml of each resin & hardener?
@@lanadijosie7764 150 ml for resin and 150 ml for hardener
Do you have a list of supplies that you use?

Hello very nice your videoabout
Cooking goodluck
Hello,
Love your resin art.
Just wanted to know, the heat gun you used, does it helps just to break the bubbles or it helps to harden the resin fast, so that you can pour another layer on top it.
It helps to pop the bubbles. It will not help to cure the resin fast.
@@MaryCDCrafts thank you 😊
Hi! Are these coasters heat resistant?
yes it is heat resistant :)
Do you put a coat of clear resin over after letting the first layer set?
Yes, I put top coat. It was not recorded but yes I always put top coat. :)
How much amount of epoxy is used?
I used a total of 300ml epoxy mix.
Great work! Keep it up.
Thank you!
What is the thickness of your coasters ma’am?
This was my very first attempt and I used a total of 300ml epoxy resin for 5 coasters. It is 0.4 cm thick, I tried just 4 molds and it turned out to be 0.6 to 0.7 cm for 300ml resin mix.
@@MaryCDCrafts thank you
@@ManasviAsthana you're welcome!💓
How did you get the gold edges ?
I used a gold leafing pen. It's very easy to use. Check in my description box for the link.
Thank you all for the 2.1K views.
What colors did you use on the last square coasters shown? I’m really curious to know what you used for the middle more glittery color. Thank you.
I used dark grey mica, white mica, and I poured clear resin in the middle and sprinkle it with silver glitters.
Beautiful
Thank you 😊
Great video and they turned out pretty...you may want to keep in mind that the camera gets blocked when you put the containers in front of it. It was hard to see what you were doing sometimes because the plastic container was in the way. Thank you for the tutorial!
It was bad..I got carried away and I forgot I was filming 😆🤣 I hope you still enjoyed the video 🙂
Cash Steff I agree how can we learn when nothing is explained or measurements so confusing
Thank you for the 1.5K views 😘
paano po nagkakaron ng golden edges ung coaster?
I used a gold leafing pen for the edges.
Looks good but the music kills it for me
Thanks for the feedback😄. I will use a better background music on my next video.
Turn your volume down, its only music 😂
Absolutely beautiful new subscriber
Thank you :)
Could I know what did you add to the pink mixture? Thanks!
I added light gold mica powder and
white liquid resin Pigment colors to reduce the brightness of the pink mica powder.
If u could add subtitles on the step by steps of making the resin coasters.

I agree Elliej90.... a little slower for us that are a novice, and some explanations and maybe a clear view of the working area. Otherwise I loved it.
Name of suppliers pls. Shopee po ba?
I bought my supplies from Amazon, but I think they are also available in Shopee or Lazada.
Absolutely gorgeous. Just wish you didn’t have a cup blocking your work :(
😘
This video was so helpful for me! My coasters looked almost the same! Thank you so much
You're welcome! 😍
Music is way to hectic couldn't stick with it
I'm sorry, I'll pick a better music next time. :)
Or...turn your volume down
Are you using pigment powders for colour?
Yes, I am using pigment mica powders.
Great video but would be better with calm
Music
This music is making me sick
Too complicated for a beginner and with no titles or explanations, plus the music made me very anxious
Lovely work just too fast
Peb ganahan ko ani unsaon ni

Do u fill half way let dry then put a layer of clear coat over top or can u do all in one pour?
You can do either way
Beautiful
Thank you! 😊
