Good review. I assume this has sold by now. Definitely would have been interested. Although I didn't hear any mention of where the auction was being held. Anyway thanks.
Yep prices just keep going up and up. The 964 Tip Cabs were originally 12k more than hardtop manuals and easily topped 80k out the door with a few options, tax and tags. That’s over 175K in 2022 dollars. These remain one of the best Porsche bargains out there in my opinion. One of the rarest of all 964s was the street-legal Grand Sport (GS) C2 delivered at the tail end of 964 production with a race prepared M64/02 engine and strengthened Tiptronic. The Tip transmission is pretty bullet proof but requires a learing curve to access its performance potential. A good ECU chip can really wake up the multiple shift maps in a stock 964 Tip.
What a great Car ! Live in the Netherlands 🇳🇱 close to Germany 🇩🇪…. And you see occasionally a few samples….but it’s my favorite car. However $ 2,00 a liter gas 🥴 So no Porsche 964 for me 😢 Enjoy
@@TheGoldenDrive Canadian! Funny because I’m an Canadian 🇨🇦 that happens to live in the Netherlands. Didn’t know the gas is so expensive in Canada. It has been to long ago since I have been there 😢
300bhp who isn't possible with a stock engine, far from it! I have owned a 964 c2 for over 10 years, I've had the motor fully blueprinted, cylinders mooned, crank balanced, heads flowed, high lift cams, rods and pistons balanced, no cat, primary silencer removed, basically the best you can make a 3.6 without itb's and mine is just under 300bhp at the crank, 255 at the wheels. For 300 at the wheels I'd need 3.8, itbs and a much higher redline
Another great review. Keep em coming elvis
Thanks so much🙌🙌

The bbs rims is beautiful and suits the car very nicely. But, I prefer the original rims of this car to make it more iconic.
Nice video. I have a 02 911 Carrera 4.
Thanks so much. Oooooh I love the 996
Air cool life 😎 👌
Oh yeah
Who knew these cars would shoot it in price so much? Well, asking price. Who's buying these in the lower mainland?
I know right??!! The prices are through the roof right now
i hope you’re having an amazing day as well 😊✊🏻🔥
Haha thanks so much
Great video, I see the car already sold. What was he asking?
Thanks so much. I’m not sure what he was asking but i think it sold at a good price
A 964 is never a 911. Be proud of what you got!
Yup, a 77 911 for me.

That’s so awesome, it’s one of my favorite cars too. $2 a liter sounds similar to here in Canada 😂🇨🇦

300whp is impossible with a complete stock engine 3.6L flat6.. I think the dyno doesnt work well...
Haha it’s far from stock. A lot of work was done to the engine
