    Those guys with the horns can still kill it. 👍That's the very first thing that got me excited about this band growing up in the 70's. Jimbo Mexican American, former US Navy radioman petty officer 86-96.

      Agree with you! Saw them most recently last year and again last night, here in Tucson. The three founding members (Lamm, 78, Loughlane, 76 and Pankow, 75) have astounding stamina to be able to play over 3 hours. They were a force to be reckoned with in the 70’s when we were teens, and in my humble opinion, they are still awesome to see today!

      History especially through the 1980’s says your wrong. Bill Champlin came in and they changed with the times and were successful....Not taking away from Terry at all….But they kept going…

    • @johnbramsey
      @johnbramsey 2 месяца назад +2

      True, but that’s true with all the bands that endured losses. This band has endured better than almost all of them. 57 years! Their live shows are still stellar. See them this year - it may be the last tour.

      @@johnbramsey It really odd or strange how some bands can continue on with zero original members and the tickets keep selling.. Journey / without Steve Perry has been without him since 96. Little River Band ..No original members.. Molly Hatchett had no original members and on they go..Thin Lizzy and Uriah Heep have a original guy each. The list is endless…I guess as long as people are entertained its all good…

      @@shawncosmos5431 We rock fans have little choice but to accept what the old bands can give us. We baby boomers and Gen Xers don’t like the new music out there. My theory: We think of Rock and Roll as the music of the young because that’s who loved it first when it started in the 1950s. And new, young, rock artists kept the genre attractive to new teenagers as the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s rolled on. I think new Rock and Roll mostly ended as the popular music genre before 2000. Now, the “young” rock acts are in their 60s or 50s. And the originals like The Stones or Chicago are in their 80s, or about to get there. Frankly, the original musicians in old bands look almost nothing like their youthful selves, so does it really matter who is playing the music? Chicago will always have the logo. And while ex-members will try to tour playing Chicago songs, they don’t get a lot of attention. Heart is a good example. Lead singer Ann Wilson played with a good band and sounded great but had no big tours while she and sister Nancy were in dispute. Now they are touring as Heart and playing large venues nationwide. The fans just want to revisit the songs of their youth.

    Who are these guys? Sounds like a cheap imitation of the original band. Only saw Jimmy Panko and Lee Loughnane from original band. What happened to Robert Lamm? Didn't see him. The drummer is horrible. Certainly not Danny Seraphine or Tris Imboden.

    I used to LOVE Chicago. Here they sound terrible. The drummer has no talent at all. You can't hear the brass over his inane pounding! They could have found somebody on the street with more talent!! Terry Kath's loss caused a severe nosedive in this band. They've only produced ballads for several years. They forgot how to rock!! No production at all. SAD😢😢

    Yikes drowned out the lead guitar with drums. Why do that on one of the greatest guitar solos ever? Maybe on purpose because he cannot come close to matching it? Who knows? Could barely hear it.
