OTTAWA / GATINEAU -- We’ve been learning traditional dance for most of our lives and would love to share it with you as performers or teachers.
Métis jigging is a beautiful blend of traditional First Nations dance combined with the influence of Irish and Scottish settlers. It can vary from region to region across Canada as each community develops a style that reflects those who partake, participate and teach it to each new generation. Our style reflects everything we’ve learned from Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Ontario.
We would be thrilled to perform at your event in Ottawa / Gatineau and even provide introductory workshops to teach basic steps to pass this beautiful gift forward. Nous sommes bilingues!
Great work!
