I love these little gems. The first time I saw one, I did a double take as they're almost too perfect to be real. Definitely on my wishlist for the future. 😊
The shot with the shrimp coming through the moss was rad. I would love to see a video like this on any pseudomugil. Again, thanks for the great content.
“Even though I missed the focus” What an incredible start to a series! In two minutes and some change you once again blew my mind! I have been wanting to keep these for a while now and you have opened my mind to the option again with a tank I have tucked away from my break down.
Scarlet badis , nice work as always . I remember when these were very common but most soon found them not for a community tank . It’s definitely a gem for sure . Great work as always.
This will make a good series! Don't know how you can miss with great photography, cool music and good species information. Looking forward to seeing more like this. Thanks Jimmy! 👍😀❤️
Loved this video, it was an informational fish profile with a bunch of cool shots and music definatley looking forward to more like this. Even if I already know the fish backwards and forwards I will still enjoy it.
I thought this was going to be a series where a Scarlet Badis writes home to Mom every week to tell her about his adventures in the world. It took me a few blinks to make the connection to Hawthorne. Either way, I enjoyed it!!
These guys are little hate machines. Mine almost exclusively ate live food, he wouldn't even go after frozen. I recommend keeping them with a breeding shrimp colony!
Seriously, a superb series! Keep these kinds of short species spotlights coming. They're awesome! Now I can't wait for the Galaxy Rasboras next... What will the title be? hummmmmmmm Keep us guessing, Jimmy.
Beautiful fish! One of my faves. I’ve never fed live food before, what would that be? What are good tank mates? Thanks for showcasing this stunning little fish!
I've never understood why these guys haven't been bred commercially, they are really only available as wild caught. I love these little buggers. A thought going forward, water parameters (e.g. pH, temperature) might be helpful as well.
I am thinking about getting these beautiful fish but I am a bit nervous that my tank wont have enough hiding spots for them. That and having to give them live food. Do you think I could get away with feeding frozen? My tank is natural planted but more of a carpet. It has a large bonsai tree with a hidey hole under the substrate. My tank is a 6 gallon tank. any thoughts on this?
Ive wanted these in my collection so bad, for so long. each one from online has showed up DOA.. One day, it will happen, sweet video.
And they are some of the few survivors from my online forays, I've had them a couple months now, hope you have better luck!
The Scarlet Badis seems like a neat fish, I kind of want to get some someday. I like how chill this spotlight is
Awesome Jimmy, thanks
“Even though I missed the focus” ...still more focused than any fish picture I’ve taken 😂
❤️❤️

Fantastic! I've never seen a scarlet badis look so good! I like the concept and I look forward to seeing where you take it! 👍

The scarlet badass :D 👍
Jimmy don’t go, stay at the CooP.
Why is he leaving?
@Danzo he’s leaving the state to go home, Cory has talked about it on videos.
@@aljanecko Where's home? And when is he leaving?
Home is Ohio I believe and family reasons, not sure of the date.
Beautiful.
Very nice looking fish!
Great job.
That crAy fish in the last shot- will try to eat them.
That’s a filter feeder shrimp called Blue Armor Shrimp
I love your videos.
What do you call a tiny little fish that doesn’t care who you are but is nonetheless more than happy to challenge you?
A badis!
If they would have been in front of a black bg....oh boy! Sweet images
I know right!
Can you do a setting of ur camera and what f stop ur shooting on while vlogging and shooting fish up close???

Great video🎥
Felt like national Geographic video
Gotta get me some !
Live food is a dealbreaker for me. Growing live food seems like a hassle.
Love this video type!! Noice
Good one.
Native from India... Oh... I am from West Bengal ...yaahhhhh.......😎😎😎😎😎
My lfs had the wrong name. I got autumn badis not as colorful. I do love they only eat live food though. Great nano fish!

Feeding frozen will work. Try cyclops. But I would try to get them to eat some more variety if possible. You could pull it off.
@@jimmygimbal thank you! I have a lot of different foods for them already. I have pea puffers and Figure 8 Puffers that eat the same kind of foods. =D
Beaut!
I'm always sad when people don't call them Daria Daria. Nice whisper voice. 😉
I'm in shock
I want one for my 15 planted but don't know what else to feed them besides live blood worms and live brine shrimp ..I know they want live food
So far I've been doing bbs, daphnea, vinegar eels, walter and microworms. 'So far' 😄
Anymore prints?
Hey. I’m away on business but go ahead and email me jimmygimbal@gmail.com
