Justin, I’ve admired you for years....you are one of the greatest teachers on the planet... You do these lessons for free....to ALL the poor people that want to learn....we will never be able to thank you enough......but again......THANK YOU!!! I tell everyone about you.....and for the ones that can afford to give.....please do!!! This man is an ANGEL!!!!!
Guys if you really want to know the strumming patterns or anything else you don't know about the song or tune, then buy the book that contains it (listed in the heading here Guitar Lesson SB-212). If you look at the totally amazing list of free songs that Justin has done for u-tube, then I think a little contribution of buying his book would be a just reward, for someone who has definitely contributed greatly to the pleasure of playing guitar to the masses. I have never met Justin but would like to thank him personally for all he has done to further my love of music once again.
More of this, Justin. So good. You're a wonderful teacher, fun to watch.... it's great hearing an amazing girl singer with you, and doing such a great cover.
Great job Justin and Selena has such a beautiful voice. Would love if you could fully transcribe your version including finger picking pattern for this song. It sounds amazing. Well done!
You're a youtube legend Justin. I've been using your videos since 2009 and they're still great. Keep up the great work, I hope you're making a good living, especially at this rubbish time. All the best
Thank you Justin for another brilliant tutorial, you make it all look so easy, love that you show different ways you can add too make it sound even more impressive.Best wishes
Even if I don't understand everything, because of the language barrier, I love your videos. you always do a great job Justin. A warm greeting from little Germany
Justin, thank you very much for your free videos, I am learning soooo much from you... now I want to learn this song but I don't see your right hand. I really, really appreciated if you can do another video with both hands. thank you very much!!!
I love this song thank you for covering it Justin with Salena and doing fantastic lesson on it. This is brilliant rendition of this song. I'm still loving guitar...
Thanks to you Justin I'm getting pretty darn good on the guitar :) hardest part is remembering all the songs without having to keep reminding myself how they start! A good hundred songs swimming around in my head all day long :)

I also use this because straight away one knows what one means. When I have lessons or am teaching my children, using the terminology "the thinnest string" as E is on the top and the bottom, helps them and me lol
Hi Justin, good work as always. Have you thought about having the note names of the strings just behind the nut? It would make the explanation of the fingerings very simple for you and a learning aid to those watching. Keep posting, always something of value in your videos for all levels.
many thanks Justin I did improve a lot with your videos great explanations especially for a Frenchman like me it s not boring very lively always in good mood it s a shame I.m not living in UK anymore you 're a talented teacher
C'est ce que j'appelle une version habitée. Bravo à l'interprète elle m'a foutu les poils expression difficile à traduire en anglais.juste pour dire que c'est super
While I'm not a fan of pop, I will aim to try and play this song, although it might be hard with that thumb dealie since I'm playing on a classic guitar and my hands are fairly small. Thanks Justin, looking forward to your rock stuff!
Chords: Verse Am - G (x2003x) - C - C (0x2010) - Fadd9 (103213) - F - Am - G - C - Dm - C (0x2010) - F - Am - G - F - C Half a bar each cord. (2 beats) Just wrote this out so I could have visual tab, sorry. o/
I just started learning, and think I chose something too difficult. I can do the first 4 notes, but I can't get my middle finger to the 2nd fret of the A string comfortably. :( I will keep trying.
Hello! ive been trying to learn guitar for so long and your videos are the only things that have helped me! will definitely recommend you to any guitar player trying to learn! was just wondering whether you could do you and me by lifehouse? thank you!
Hi Justin! thanks for this great tutorial! I can imagine it is not a beginners tutorial, but I'm a fast learning beginner ;-) and i would have liked to see what's going on with the right hand? Thanks again for your tuto!!
Great song and great explaining Justin, it got me easily true the intro thank you! A question though, after the intro you start explaining the first part Am-G etc. But what i don't understand is wich strings you finger pick exactly? For the intro you described that perfectly clear, but not for the rest... Hope you can fill that in, thank you!
also i play with my ring finger on the g string 2nd fret then with my middle finger on the 1st fret e string after the start... maybe it can help you play, but you have to switch fast. :) hope it helps.
Wow! What a song! What a tutorial! Although would be easier to understand the fingerpick just by sliding the right hand into the picture...cause.......it`s a tutorial right? Anyway. We appreciate it Justin. Thank you very much.
Hi Justin! Thanks so much for the video. Is it absolutely essential to be able to do the "thumb wrap"? No matter how hard I try I just cannot do it! I'm only 4'11" and I have small hands ( I know many are small with small hand and amazing guitar players and can probably do the thumb wrap no plm however I am not one of them) and I just can't seem to get it. Is there an alternative method or technique for this part? Just wondering. Thanks!
nice, love true colours, thanks Justin your a fantastick Guitar Teacher, I'm in my 50s I actually play drums as my main instrument through most of my life in bands, and a bit of teaching. the last few years I have been learning acoustic guitar, songs like blackbird, and now learning more than words extreme from you, brilliant its coming on fine, thanks Justin I would love you to do a lesson on Clifford T Ward 's song "Gaye" I have my version but would love to see a tutorial on this, thanks again.
Many thanks for the ‘super thanks’. It is really appreciated and helps Justin continue to teach the world to play. Cheers 😊 | Richard_close2u | JustinGuitar Official Guide & Approved Teacher www.justinguitar.com
I’d love to know what strings you pluck Justin please. Love your lessons, thank you. I really want to do the folk fingerstyle course how do I find it please 🙂
Nedasnothere FWIW, the basic picking pattern is T&R-I-M-R once for each chord ... this is what is used the whole way through the "once more all the way through" sequence starting at 8:20, and also mostly what is being played in the verse in the beginning of the lesson (where you can see his fingers doing this).
Justin... it's a very nice version ot that song, but I miss to check your right hand and I get lost! Could you please remake it showing the right hand? It would be very nice from you. Thank you

Hi Justin, thank you so much. This was wonderfully explained. Could you please tell me which arpeggio pattern you used for this song?
He said "I just played whatever my fingers did" and "you should experiment" 9:30
Thanks Justin! Oh wait...you're not Justin?? Anyway, thanks Martin for the the solicited and helpful advice! :D
