Great review! My wife and I bought an Encore ST a few months ago and we absolutely love it! The engine is surprisingly peppy and the 9 speed transmission is buttery smooth. I've never been asked about a car I drive more than this one. (my wife also loves the straight forward radio and climate controls)
I test drove this vehicle last week. My only zonk is the driver info display is too close to the steering wheel, I much prefer the traditional recessed display. I was pleasantly surprised by the powertrain for such a small engine
I've had my 2020 since they first came out and I LOVE it!!! I commute 60 miles a day to school and it is shockingly peppy with the 1.3. I narrowed it down to the GX and the CX30 when I bought mine, and the GX rode so much nicer. For me, it was all the torque in the 1.3- this thing can cruise at 80mph all day without even shifting gears up hill thanks to that turbo. For me, I needed a highway cruiser with my commute and it's PERFECT!
In 2021, I decided to lease my first Buick Encore GX, and it has been a fantastic experience. As my lease approaches its end in August, I'm seriously considering buying this same model in the identical color. One of the standout features of the new Encore GX is the innovative blind spot warning lights on both sides, which have provided an extra layer of safety and awareness on the road. Additionally, the futuristic information center inside the car has been a delight to use, providing me with all the key details and controls in a clear and intuitive manner. I can't wait to continue enjoying all the great features of this car.
The exterior changes grow on you. Looks exceptionally well on the Envision. I personally wouldn’t go for the Encore, but it’s a better deal to go for the Envision with the Cad specs. If you want a smaller SUV, you’d have better luck with a Toyota or Mazda, I agree.
I like the way Joe notices things that others don't. Joe noticed the way the hood formations just disappeared as you got up to the windshield. I currently have my 7yr old Regal Turbo Sport. It’s given me 50,000 wonderful and completely hassle-free miles. I mean legit, hassle-free. I’ve done NOTHING in 5yrs of ownership (bought it used) other than tires, brakes, and fluids. Just rolled 71,000 miles. Though I’ll be honest, it’s beginning to give me some transmission problems with very rough shifts and some transmission bouncing/rattling at random times. And the turbo sounds like it’s dead. But hell it’s time for a new car anyway. I’ve loved this car every minute that I’ve owned it. I’m seriously considering leasing this new GX Avenir
