The change in music was due to the request of Virgin since they distributed the European version released in 1992 (and later CRI would release the Japanese version based on Virgin's version) since obviously the original version released in the United States in 1991 by Acclaim (Arena) sounds horrible, Matt Furniss mentioned in an interview that it was curious to work on this since the music sounds different (And much better) in other regions.
This version sounds so good for once we Europeans weren’t shafted as our version was the original version, but I wonder Why virgin didn’t just go with Matt Furniss’ superior version of the Speedball 2 soundtrack.
I played both the American and PAL versions of this and... Yeah, we Americans really got the short end of the stick. The PAL version's music is much better and I appreciate them adding in new music during gameplay and for the customization screen.

I recently resent my comment from last year’s “Super Spin” OST upload which was luckily archived along w/ the “TAoB&R” one from a bit back & it reminds me that the Sub-Terrania beta OST video’s still not here…! I’ll just leave it at that (no direct “demand” or anything).
I haven't forgotten about the Sub-Terrania beta, but I'm not a rom hacker so it's difficult to get a rip of the soundtrack since it has no in game sound test. That said, I can probably upload a partial recording of it with the tracks I can easily get at some point. I was working on creating cheats to make that easier, but I haven't found a way to skip levels or get invincibility yet, so it's on the back burner for the moment.

@@randomvgms - Fair enough, I guess. I’d assume internally ripping the files or something would be the easiest way, but who knows.
