This was one of the first games I was proud to show off on the Sega Genesis. All the other ones I was ashamed of. (But I enjoyed them anyways & learned to appreciate them the older/wiser I got)

I've been putting off from listening to parts of this soundtrack so as to not spoil myself while playing the game, but I can now proudly say that I've beaten Thunder Force IV on all four difficulties after almost 4 months of playing. Now I can finally enjoy this soundtrack in its entirety. Fantastic game. Definitely one of my favorites.

For a 1997 game it sounds quite disappointing, many Mega Drive games and other systems that used FM synthesizers (Arcades and Japanese computers) from 1990 for example sound much better but well, leaving that detail aside this game is very good and I would also consider it the last "AAA" game on the Mega Drive, it really makes good use of its capabilities except for the audio.

Holly hell! This game is so balls to the wall crazy that i never noticed how little songs they were there, lol.

This game is so 90's, i love it! Lots of people didn't like the change in gameplay style but i didn't mind, i'm always open to try new stuff.

Jamin soundtrack and one of the earliest and funkiest GEMS soundtracks.

Oh yeah this is definitely a Rob Hubbard soundtrack alright, i recognise that signature FM twang he loved to use and that Road Rash base patch as I like to call it.

There is a calming feeling listening to the opening track and this is unmistakably a Micronet game from the bass and FM patches used and the use of PSG, this is overall a nice sounding game and I found out from a review of the game that it’s actually a reimagining of a Konami arcade game, Cue Brick which has a completely different soundtrack.

Just completed this game for myself. For a game starring a cartoon drawing, there's a significant lack of creativity. The gameplay itself is incredibly frustrating due to the bad controls and the convoluted objectives. *BUT,* it does have an alright soundtrack. Admittedly one of Matt Furniss' weaker efforts, but it's not terrible. The carnival stage and dinosaur levels are my favorite tracks.

Did the Menacer TJAE have this same music? I didn't own this game or know anyone that did but I remember every note like it was yesterday and that's the only explanation I have for why I remember.

0:00 ahh takes me right back to my childhood, i still can smell the brand new plastic unboxing a genesis on christmas, Robocop 3 was one of the two games that i got with it, the other one was NBA Jam. Good memories...

Fun game, but the later levels are incredibly frustrating due to the quicksand and some of the most annoying enemies being thrown at you. "Funkotronic Beat" has always been my favorite track.

Would be great to get a sequel to this playlist :) In Part 2, you could perhaps add some music from Pagemaster, Chakan, Warlock, Alien 3, Jurassic Park, Zombies Ate My Neighbors?

Lol, I love almost all of the Electronic Arts soundtracks on the Mega Drive/Genesis, they all sound pretty decent and there are some technical achievements like Skitchin, these FM patches from this game and the first two Road Rash I love them, I don't think you'll hear anything like this on other platforms with FM synth, it gives "Genesis" its identity that even Sega itself separates Mega Drive JP and Genesis despite being practically the same platform and I also separate Mega Drive JP from Genesis in terms of soundtracks.

It's unfortunate for all the USA people who loved Megaman. This game is really forgotten just because it was released outside of the US like in JP and EU.
