Fast forward many months... I'm still using Alfred. In fact, I've become so reliant on Alfred that when the app wasn't running, I found myself asking how to fetch for a file or how to open an app. Silly me.
What's sad is that there aren't many channels devoted to productivity software like Alfred. It's changed my life on the desktop. I'm also a fan of Keyboard Maestro and Karabiner Elements. Coming from a non-computer programming person, I love apps that automate your everyday tasks to make your workflow easier. I'm glad that you're still making videos because we really need more channels like this.

I am new to Mac and Alfred. Really appreciate it. I haven't started using workflows yet, but it looks like I'm already getting a lot out of it.

Great video! Wondering where's the script for iTerm2 that you mentioned in the video?

github.com/vitorgalvao/custom-alfred-iterm-scripts Here's where I found the script I use. In the Terminal Settings, choose "Custom" where the Application dropdown is, and then paste in the script.
Just in case, here is an actual copy and paste from mine: prodshop.co/iterm-script

Great tutorial. I'm wondering about the custom web search that you created for adding Soundcloud to the fallback result. I don't see any option for that on mine. I only see Web Search and Workflow Trigger section. I'm on Alfred 5 with PowerPack enabled. Thanks.

Hey there, I didn't add the Soundcloud Search to the fallback result - I personally don't like that feature too much (only google). If you would want to do that, go to Settings -> Features -> Default Results -> Bottom of Screen -> Setup Fallback Results Button -> Plus Sign (bottom right) and then you can add the fallback results from the default or custom searches.

Might not be a use case for you, but any luck searching a mounted google drive drive (via Google drive file stream or an alternative)? Seems to work on an intel mac, but does not recognize when added on a new M1 Max.

I think it should work, but it might take a little work for Alfred to recognize it. Try putting the mounted drive in the Spotlight > Privacy settings, and then take it out. Here are some other steps to try: www.alfredapp.com/help/troubleshooting/indexing/
A third option is to create an alias from the mounted drive on your desktop. Let me know if that works!

I have to say I NEVER watch videos longer than 6 minutes and if I do I fast forward thru them lol You're amazing at explaining things and your personality is perfect haha I really enjoyed watching all 3 videos on Alfred. I have a question, not sure if you know or not. I saw someone type a for amazon in Alfred and whatever he searched for showed up right in his search list right on Alfred, instead of actually going on amazon. He found what he needed in the list and then followed the link from there.. Any help is appreciated!!! Subbed!!!! Looking forward to more content.

From what you are describing, it might be a workflow - check this out and it might lead you in the right direction: www.alfredforum.com/topic/731-amazon-suggest-workflow/

Definitely not for me, too many hot-keys and key commands. But thank you for taking the time to creating this video.
